My friend had a burger and I ordered the cheese steak. Both were much better than your average bar food. Coleslaw was just right being a bit sweet but not too sweet. Also tried the fries which are reminiscent of fries you would get on the Ocean CIty boardwalk. Beer selection was good with some local/regional selections plus the usual suspects. Plenty of televisions. Not loud but most of the customers were outside on the patio/deck listening to the live band. Definitely recommend.

A nice day trip and the two highlights are Castaway Craig's and sitting at the nice, clean beach across the street. Castaway Craig's has a great vacation vibe in the summer where you should sit outside under their beautifully built pavilion and take in the lake view while you enjoy from their menu. My go-to is their Cuban fare. I highly recommend the Chicken or Pork Mojo. The plate was arranged with Cuban rice, black beans and a nicely grilled boneless and skinless chicken breast, sliced. To the side was fried plantain. It comes with a side salad and the lettuce and tomatoes are very fresh. Apparently, the owner or chef (?) had a grandmother who was Cuban so you know the food is authentic. Of course, the menu has all the American fare, too. Check it out! A wonderful meal that I had to take half of it home to enjoy later the next day as there is plenty for two to three meals. Where else in this part of Ohio are you going to get Cuban food with all the wonderful spices while you sit outside enjoying a lake view? All the servers have been great, too!

Fruits flies hanging all over the wall. One fell into our bread - gross. Hard to eat when you have a ton of these little guys hanging above your head and food. The seabass tasted like eating pure butter. Not very good. The $50 ribeye was shamefully overpriced. I have been sorely looking for a good steakhouse in the area, and I had hopes this place would be it, but unfortunately I paid for a tough, flavorless, bland piece of meat. Mashed potatoes were good and the carrots that came with the seabass were delicious, and it took both of those items to finish the steak I paid for. If i came here for happy hour I'd glady return, but for the food quality, I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. 2/5

While the bartender stepped away to get my order, two people began arguing across the bar. Before I knew it, one of the men started to leave. As he was walking out, he lifted his shirt and deliberately displayed a pistol to the entire bar. Several people were upset and wanted to contact the police. When the bartender returned though she said that the armed man was a "regular" and that the person who wanted to call law enforcement needed to leave because she did not know him. The concerned customer was then told to leave and nothing was done about the man who had displayed the firearm AT A BAR! And on top of it this was around 7:30 PM and families were dining in the room over. It was easily one of the most absurd situations I have ever witnessed. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. This was my first and last time going there.

Very inviting we sat at a table with a cloth table covering some tables had them and some didn't but it worked aesthetically! I ordered fish and chips came with coleslaw and fries. My friend had the Lobster rolls with sweet potato fries! My fish and chips came and the fish was ok but the fries were soggy and the coleslaw I didn't even eat it just looked bad. I should have returned it but I had not seen my friend in a long time and didn't want to make a fuss. I had told her I had the lobster roll before and it had been good. When hers came I would have never guessed it was lobster . It looked like small tiny pieces of the leftover lobster from inside a shell . Wasn't chunks of lobster. For 25 dollars I would rather get one roll full of big chunks of lobster and even pay more for a better lobster roll. Very disappointed . You have a beautiful facility and good service but disappointing food . Came back on Friday with a group of people only because I had made reservations and could not change them in time . We sat outside this time in a high top table. It was a beautiful evening. We would have stayed longer but the chairs were so uncomfortable we left as soon as we were finished. Our service was great can't complain about that . Most of the food was ok . I had tuna on top of my pasta the tuna was very good and the pasta was good just a little dry it could have used a lot more sauce . Maybe some good rolls or garlic bread to go with it. Same with the salads that a served you really need something to break up the monotony of eating pasta or a salad without a nice piece of bread to go with it. Just a suggestion because that's one of the comments from most at the table that had salads or pasta dishes . We ordered the homemade chips as an app for the table they were good everyone enjoyed them . I love the place it's very nice . Again get the food right . Especially the lobster roll. Put something in it that resembles lobster . Charging the same for one good roll is better than two bad ones !
