They all seem so occupied as if they did not want to help us. The girl in the back told us to call her when we were ready but she was unable to hear us so we waited patiently. Rivet Shaker: It is soft and is a mini version of the pretzel's with salt. Pretzel Dog: This was soft and not hard like Auntie Anne's. This also had cheese or some kind of cream inside between the bun and the hotdog. It was definitely different from other places. Overall: This was an OK experience. The food was not extraordinary where it makes me want to come back right away or give it another try with something else. This is a good place to grab a quick snack if you want a pretzel or pretzel dog.

The venue is small and no frills, staff were friendly, & food is made to order, about 20-25 mins of prep, so worth calling ahead. We had the Beef BBQ Ribs with Yams & Collard Greens, and the Fried Chicken (Dark Meat) with Yams & Mac and Cheese. Everything was very good, I was truly impressed by the Fried Chicken. Too may "Soul" food spots fall short on this staple of soul food, but they absolutely got it right. We also had Granny's Tea (not pictured), which is an Uptown in your standard container you'd get from your local Chinese food store. The Yams were good once I got to the lower "saucy" layers, & the Mac and Cheese was very creamy and good. The greens were "Meh." Overall, a good experience. Would go back for the Fried Chicken above all else. The other sides were worth it, but the chicken was absolutely the all-star. I had no idea what to expect BUT so glad we stopped in. It's a mystery about portion sizes. We ordered a chicken noodle soup, potato pancake and a junior pastrami sandwich all to share! None of this was typical. The soup was plenty to split, the pancake the size of a personal pizza and the sandwich was huge for a junior. We took home leftovers of everything except the soup! You may experience a little sticker shock when you see the prices, but trust me--you need to come hungry! These portions are enormous, and you'll almost certainly be leaving with enough leftovers to keep you fed for days.
