    Got our iberico jamon here and it's delectable. The flavor is really good with just the right saltiness to it. Was planning to get some pata negra and glad that the lady had us try it first since it costs $499 per pound which is crazy expensive but im willing to splurge in small amounts. Hahah! Anyways, we found the pata negra a little saltier than the iberico. So we chose iberico instead because we prefer the taste. It's also a lot cheaper, around 50 per lb. Wished it had more fatty parts to it and seems more appealing if it's hand cut instead of the machine. Great place to get some cured meats for your charcuterie. Pairs well with wine or any liquor.

    I heard this is the only place in the country that sells authentic Ibérico ham aka pata negra and given that it's local, decided to stop in for a try. All Ibérico ham is amazing in taste but there are still different types of labels... the top tier being black label from pure bred animals strictly on acorn diets from the Iberian region. Rodrigo was totally honest with me and told me he currently didn't have any of it but gave me the next best thing in the Ibérico ham hierarchy. The 4 year cured ham smelled and tasted really rich and deliciously fatty. He slowly carved away using the traditional method as he gave us a bit of history about the process and art of making this rare ham. If you want to indulge, $400 a pound is the price you will need to pay but also offers other fine hams at lower price points including the famous serrano. I'm happy to see local artisans in the neighborhood who are passionate about what they do. The shop also offered homemade cured sausage, meats, full butcher service and general grocery items. I will be back for more jamón!

    Absolutely everything is top notch. The owner raises the pigs humanely and then sells them at the store. The beef is also spectacular.

    Don't go for the iberico. They are overpriced and don't know how to slice it properly.

Two bottles of white later we nearly finished the butter service and enjoyed some escargot and their steak frites. We threw in a chopped salad and finished it off with their caramel dessert that somewhat resembled a tiramisu. Upon lifting the cylinder sleeve the delicious and light caramel sauce pours over the cake with crunch chocolate nibs sprinkled on top.
