Cute, clean cafe/diner close to the Great Wolf Lodge. Portions are huge, service is nice but a little slow. They have gluten free pancakes and staff seemed very knowledgeable on allergies. Great breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe! We arrived about 945 am on a Saturday morning, seated right away. We ordered Irish Coffees, a Grand Mimosa and Strawberry St. Germain Mimosa. Amanda H was our server and was so kind and helpful. Ordered the full size biscuit beignets. Wow, yum. There were 8 in the order, slathered in powdered sugar and came with a super delish honey orange marmalade sauce. The meals we ordered are in the photos, came out pretty quick but not too fast that we felt rushed. All were fantastic. Couple of us couldn't even finish it and took ours home. Does anyone work here other than Kourtney? We sat for 10 minutes before we finally stopped Kourtney as she was serving one of her tables and asked if we could order. She saved they day and was very sweet! Throughout our visit the entire wait staff did nothing but stand in the kitchen and look at the dining room through the windows in the kitchen door. At several times there wasn't a single member of the staff in the dining room. Food was okay but bad guest service, except for our girl Kourtney. Oh and awesome cocktails! read more

Walked in with a group of 7 and was immediately told they cannot seat a group bigger than 4. The restaurant was pretty empty.

We ordered food and drink as soon as we sat down. Our waiter forgot our drinks and we had to ask him after we were waiting for 20 minutes. Food took an hour when it wasn't even that busy. And by the time we got our food, my food was cold. I got the eggs Benedict, in which were supposed to be poached eggs. The eggs were fully cooked because it was under the heat lamp for so long. The hollandise sauce was a a solid on my eggs because it was on there for so long. Do not go here unless you want to waste 2 hours of your day and have cold gross food. read more

Our server was very nice but our food was over an hour late and they handed it to us very cold and we did not consume any of it and the manager had the audacity to specify she was only taking 50% off. We had to communicate with the other manager that that was unacceptable and she rolled her eyes and told us she would give it to us for free. Absolutely horrible. Service was mediocre at best. People understand that you are short staffed but when you short staffed you don't seat a entire restaurant because then you can not properly take care of everyone in a timely fashion But to wait for 20 minutes to order and another hour to get our food and when we did get it the seafood my wife got in her breakfast was old and over cooked she had to spit it out it was so fishy. My entire plate was cold and it was obvious it had sat in a window for quite sometime. We ate none of our food Our server could see this and never once offered to make it right. Just said it's Saturday and there understaffed When I asked to see the GM I was told that she was to busy in kitchen We will not be back There are many more options in Sandusky with better customer service better food and definitely better prices. read more

Fourth time visiting Another Broken Egg since they opened and it does NOT disappoint! I haven't changed my order because the cookie dough waffle is delicious!!! I like crispy bacon and it comes out that way even though it's thick cut! My husband orders something different every time but he always chooses their grits as a side. Disclaimer, he doesn't eat them as they were intended but rather, smothers them with butter and brown sugar. LOL Every time, we've had excellent service! Today, Zari (Azarielle) provided it! I ordered my eggs over hard and they came out over medium. Unfortunately, I don't do 'dippy' eggs so my husband let her know. She immediately apologized and said she thought I said over medium. I love someone who owns their mistake. She left and not long after, the manager came out with my eggs. He apologized again which wasn't needed. We waited a hour for our food, for some things to be missing and still being made and for some of our food to be cold. The waiter barley came around but their food quality was good with pancakes and sausage but they had low quality grits, burgers, and potatoes. For the amount we paid and how most of my family was upset apon leaving, we where disappointed to say the least. Would not recommend just go to the local Bob Evans, pancake house, or cracker barrel. read more

I was so excited to try out Another Broken Egg Cafe, as we love breakfast options and this new location is very close to our home. My husband and I visited for lunch on a weekday. It was not busy at all, so we were seated promptly and our waitress was very kind and attentive. Let me first start out by saying that the food here was good, but I was overwhelmed with how fancy their menu is for a brunch restaurant. The simple options - traditional pancakes, French toast, etc. - were outweighed by elaborate, complex plates that made it very difficult to choose what to eat. I appreciate the creativity, but was hoping for a menu with more traditional fare. I opted for the Floridian Omelette, which is filled with crab meat, cheese, and onion. It was a huge portion and tasted great, but I wish that more simple omelet options were on the menu. The prices were high, but this is understandable considering the ingredients used in the dishes. Overall, it was ok; probably a great option for those looking for a more exquisite or adventurous brunch experience. If you enjoy traditional American breakfast food, there are better options elsewhere. I also wanted to mention that there is an upcharge to switch from potatoes to fruit as a side. The fruit that was brought out was in a very tiny dish and was a very ordinary, average mix of honeydew, grapes, etc. For how expensive the menu items are, fruit in place of potatoes should be free or if there is an upcharge, it should be reasonable portion. read more

we came in and there were 4 tables. waited 15 mins for drinks. the prices on the menu are wrong and they over charged us. ordered an omelet Togo and it was burnt. the sausage tasted like they were old. At the end our server checked on us one time but spent almost 20 mins talking to another table. over all very disappointed and definitely won't return read more

Was looking to try a new place for Brunch on Easter Sunday as I like to try new things and eat at new places in the area. As the atmosphere was nice and quaint a lot of staff was just sitting down and talking to each other in tables by the bathroom as I know the world is dealing with a staff shortage but that was not the best way for someone to walk in and see that instead of welcoming and helping guest who walk in and just sit and continue their conversations. We all have our slow days but theirs a time and place for that especially when customers come in. After we ordered our drinks the waitress came back with our drinks I asked for more sugar because there wasn't anymore regular sugar on the table. She replies "sure hun" and rolls her eyes like that was asking for to much. After we ordered and got our food she walked away. Another waitress came by with some toast that was asked for I asked her if I can get some bacon that wasn't burnt so she said "yeah sure thing" she comes back with the same plate that had the original burnt bacon and added more burnt bacon to on to the ones that was there already. After about 10 minutes the waitress came back out and ask how were things and I spoke up about the bacon once again. She said yeah I'm sorry and brought more out. As from before bacon that was burnt and had horrible after taste once again. About 10 minutes later she asked about the bill clearly seen the bacon wasn't touched because of how burnt it was. As a bacon lover who loves crispy bacon this was bad burnt so I said something once again. The waitress said "oh the bacon is cooked in the oven that's why it's like that" . As for paying $4.99 for bacon that I couldn't even eat because how burnt it was you would think they would take it off your bill or speak to someone about that nope nothing. As the prices are high as it is here. The food and service isn't worth it. Sorry but this was a huge disappointment and let down. read more
