My first time here during my travel to South Florida. We had a birthday brunch for my hubby's birthday! First let me tell you, this is a popular spot in Pembroke Pines. Second thought - parking can be ridiculous. Third, the staff here are very courteous. We didn't realize the amount of time it would take to get from Weston to Pembroke Pines. Although Google Maps said 30 minutes, it ended up taking 50 minutes. Lots of people were on the road on a Saturday morning. However, once we arrived, we were seated almost immediately, even with the restaurant being crowded. There were also people eating brunch outdoors. Our host and waiter was very helpful, and we got our meals within 20 minutes. We had a reservation for a boat tour in Miami - which was an hour away, and we needed to leave within 15 minutes of getting our food. I asked the waiter if he could bring the check and we would pay ahead, and that was absolutely no problem. This was so helpful, and by the way, we did make the boat tour, in fact, we were first in line. Back to the food at Another Broken Egg Cafe - DELICIOUS! Yes, I was in a rush, and really wanted to savor every bite, but the strawberry pound cake french toast was absolutely delicious. It was very sweet, but the fresh strawberries balanced everything out for me. However, if that's not your cup of tea, you should pass on it. LOL! I was annoyed that one of my husband's toast was burnt, but it seemed as though they gave extra slices. I just felt they should have removed the burnt slice. Went here for a late breakfast, unfortunately their fryer wasn't working , so I settled for their bourbon street pancakes that was hot and delicious , it was so much couldn't eat all of it . We had a great waiter who kept my glass of strawberry full . We had a great corner table that allowed us to talk without having to shout , which was awesome. We came around 9 o'clock after waiting approximately 30 minutes we had to bring into the attention of the Hostess that she had approximately 6-8 tables that were empty, and after that, she sat down all the people that was waiting at the entrance. Aprox 10 other people waiting I had the biscuit chicken sandwich that was dry. The biscuit was broken half of how dry it was. My wife had a French toast pound cake that it was only sweet. No flavor at all on my kid hot chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and egg chocolate chip pancakes were OK . The egg was a scoop of dry egg on top of the plate and the sausage link was burned on both sides. I brought that to the attention of the waiter. She spoke to the manager and nothing was done. I came here for brunch with my parents and brother. I typically dine at their location in Atlanta, so I'm familiar with their food and service. I started off with a Bloody Mary , while everyone else opted for water with lemon on the side. My Bloody Merry was delicious! Everyone was pretty hungry so we went ahead and ordered. My brother had the Lobster & Brie Omelette, which he loved. My mom opted to have a side of potatoes and eat from everyone else's plate. My dad had the Supreme Omelette and I had the Monterey Power Omelette. My omelette was ok, I'm not sure if it was the guajillo sauce , but it was slightly watery and not as hot as I would've liked it. The reason I gave this location 3 out 5 stars is because my mom discovered hair in her food while eating some of my dad's Supreme Omelette. The manager was very kind and came over right away and apologized. They remade another omelette for my dad and removed it from the bill. Other than the mystery hair and the temperature of my food, the atmosphere was very chill. We joked about the hair, because that's what we do but we probably won't be back anytime soon. read more

I found myself in Florida again recently and we stumbled on this place..Where do I start?? The place is beautiful! Clean and adorable. The Menu is insane!! ( were guided through it by the server ..but we'll talk about her in a minute ) We went with good old biscuits and Gravy, eggs, and a stack of buttermilk pancakes) OMG! Absolutely delicious Only rivaled by my Mother in law's but she's from Kansas, so you already know lol. Let's talk about the best part of this place..The Staff! We got waited on by Joelle ( who I take as the manager, server, and head bartender..We sat at the bar ) She was AMAZING!! So helpful navigating the enormous menu, giving us recommendations, and overall being so incredibly sweet. What Joelle didn't and couldn't know is that we just came from the cemetery ( the reason we were in Florida from NY) to finalize the paperwork on my Father's funeral for the following day. ( sorry to kill the mood ) My point is simple, the cool decor, delicious food, and fantastic coffee were nice..but the big Smile, friendly attitude, and even the jokes and laughs that Joelle provided to me and my wife were sooo needed at that particular point in time. This has to be one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've ever had. The eggs had the most bizarre flavor to them I couldn't take more than two bites. My wife had heard good things about Another Broken Egg Cafe so when our daughter came for a visit we brought her here so we all could try their fare. They have an extensive menu with a large assortment of breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive without being overly so. The room has a coffee shop vibe with a full bar. They also have outdoor seating in the alleyway next door. I had the Sonoma club sandwich, turkey, bacon, egg and cheese with avocado and tomato on grain bread. It was very tasty. Their coffee is also very good and is served in a goblet style coffee cup. It's been a while since I've eaten so badly! I arrived and the place was empty. Saturday at 9:30am, but there was a line. There were more than 10 empty tables inside and when you arrived they told you that you had to wait about 25 minutes. While I was waiting, I went to the restroom and there I saw that the restaurant had about 30 tables in total, of which 10 were empty. When I asked the hostess why they made me wait 25 minutes with two guys when the restaurant was empty, they suddenly found me a table and let me in. They had enough waitresses, hostesses, runners, managers, they had people working, they were not short of staff so as not to seat people. When the waitress came over, she took our order and served us. The dishes were a disgrace. My son ordered a chocolate pancake (it had chocolate on the outside, not the inside, it was the size for a 3 year old) with egg and sausage and an extra order of sausage. The egg came in an inedible egg ball, and the order of sausage on the side never arrived. And the sausage they gave him was burnt. Then we ordered a biscuit sandwich, the biscuit was completely hard. It came with potatoes that they never brought, we had to complain about it and they brought it when we finished the meal. My dish was a French toast, supposedly it was a French toast cake and it was neither cake nor bread! It came with egg and bacon, the bacon was again all burnt and hard. When we told the waitress, she didn't give it any importance, the manager never came over and we even had to ask him to discount the order of sausage that he charged us for and never brought us. The service, the food, the attention, the prices seem not to be expensive but the portions are small and on top of that they burn the food. They should make people wait so that the complaints of the previous ones are not heard. read more

The restaurant is always packed, but I'm not sure why. Overall most of the food we ordered was good, but nothing that I would call amazing. They have regular coffee and creamer. but no expresso or specialty coffee's. The server was friendly and helpful in giving some suggestions. You have options of booths or regular seating. I absolutely love this place every time i eat here! It's always busy, they close at 2p on weekdays and 3p on weekends so it's always bustling for breakfast and lunch. I went with a girlfriend after a good workout on a Saturday around 1 and luckily we only had to wait 5min to get sat. Our server Pedro was the sweetest and took his time to describe the different cold brews and their texture because we had questions lol. I ended up getting the vanilla cold brew which with the foamy cream on top was so delicious, and my friend got the salted caramel cold brew, the rim was a little too salty but the coffee itself was delicious. To eat, we shared the nova cream cheese bagel and a side 2-pancake stack. Everything was so yummy. They were generous with the nova on the bagel and the pancakes were so fluffy i almost thought there were more than 2 at first! My friend and I met for breakfast and completely forgetting it was a Sunday, we opted to wait in the virtual line via Yelp. Once you add your name to the virtual line and arrive at the restaurant, you check-in at the host stand. We were finally seated and looked over the menu. I decided to order the strawberry poundcake french toast and my friend ordered the Supreme Omelette. The food arrived and we both noticed the portion sizes were quite small. The Supreme Omelette didn't look "supreme" as it was suppose to have 4 items in it and it just looked small and the strawberry poundcake french toast came with 4 small and thin slices of the pound cake with some strawberries and whipped cream. Just regular pancakes you could make at home Fresh country potatoes: 1/5, May have been the most disappointing thing I ate. They were so unflavored, it was worrisome.
