Now when we get to the food, it really just depends on your culture, in my culture their food is not to standard seeing that multiple items were bland, dry when they should not be, or not cooked to order according to request. So I gave the food a two stars then added a star for great service. They did have fresh quality ingredients though, they just don't execute the preparation well. Being greeted at the door before you even enter a restaurant always raises the expectations. First and foremost, I must mention how lovely the staff at this location is. Every staff member we spoke with from beginning to end was so pleasant and helpful. The open concept of this restaurant elevates the space. Lots of windows for natural light and super spacious. The food was delicious as always. I was thrilled to see they had biscuit and TURKEY sausage gravy on the menu. As someone who does not eat pork, I'm never able to enjoy this dish as most places incorporates it into this dish. So this was very refreshing and I absolutely enjoyed every bite! The BTL sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. the tomato tasted fresh, and everything came together really well. The blueberry lemon cornbread was honestly a standout: moist, slightly sweet, and that lemony brightness made it feel special without being overwhelming. I could eat that every day. I got to my seat upset because was all that necessary at 9:00 am with no coffee in my system?! lol Soon after our waitress came to our table. I decided to get the tomato basil soup which was mmm so good and the half Cobb salad. All I can say is if that was a half salad I can only imagine how big the full size salad is. I received The Purple Haze and it was refreshing. I received pork sausage and no toast. The chicken sausage eventually came. I wrote this letter to the GM, Shanetta Franklin and received no response: I am writing to formally document an unacceptable experience at your First Watch location on January 30 at approximately 11:40 a.m. This incident is particularly concerning as it represents the second time we have experienced significant service failures at this location. On a prior visit, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. During our most recent visit, we again experienced excessive delays. My husband and I waited over an hour for our food, while multiple tables that arrived after us were served before we were, with no explanation provided. We asked our server, Desiree, to check on the delay and specifically requested that the manager, Nelson, come to our table. We personally observed the interaction between Desiree and Nelson, during which our request was clearly communicated. Despite this, Nelson never came to speak with us. Instead, we observed him assisting guests who arrived after us, while completely disregarding our table. After more than an hour with no food, no communication, and no management acknowledgment, we decided to leave. As we were exiting, my husband calmly stated that we could no longer continue waiting. Nelson ignored him entirely and walked away, which was unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable. Given that this was our second negative experience, we chose not to eat at your restaurant at all and instead left to dine at a different local restaurant. While delays can occur, ignoring guests--especially after a direct request to speak with management--is unacceptable under any circumstances. This situation could have been resolved with basic communication. Instead, it escalated due to a clear lack of leadership and accountability on the floor. This experience fell far below the service standards First Watch promotes. I expect this matter to be reviewed and addressed appropriately. read more

It consisted of "Smoked, hand-pulled brisket and house-pickled sweet peppers in a potato hash, topped with two cage-free eggs any style, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, fresh smashed avocado, housemade pico de gallo, chipotle aioli and scallions. I tried a holiday special steak and egg hash over home style potatoes with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, and spinach and over easy eggs. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Steak was tender. Now usually I do nothing but sing praises for First Watch. However today I was not happy with one of the items I ordered. I'd placed a pick-up order for my son and I which consisted of The Trifecta, Kids Bacon and Eggs and a Cranberry Crush drink. Upon arriving, I'd advised the young lady that I wanted both drinks with no ice. When I received my order, is when the issue came in. I asked the young lady, "surely this isn't the drink that I paid $4.79 for, correct?". She looked and said no, it should be bigger. She said I'll just bring you another that's that size. I then said, "please with no ice". She then says "oh that's why it' s that size. When it has no ice they put it in a smaller cup." I didn't debate it, I just left. Please see picture below for size reference. That is my cranberry crush drink next to my son's kids' orange juice that came with his meal. So basically, what I gathered from this exchange today, is that First Watch is ripping people off. You can have the regular size cup that the juice is supposed to come in as long as you allow them to fill it up with 50-60% ice and the rest juice. Or you can opt to request no ice and receive a kiddie cup. Either way the amount of juice received is not worth the $4.79 that is being charged. The size of my cup should not be determined by whether or not I ask for ice. I'd like to mention that this has never happened at any other First Watch location when I request my juice with no ice.
