I went to At Home and *finally* found a trunk the size and color I'd been looking for for months! I was so excited. I purchased the one they had in-store and subsequently placed an online order for five more. I never received correspondence except for the order received and order shipped notifications. I was so excited when my order of five trunks arrived -- until I opened the box and found only one. I went straight online and looked at my order history which showed two trunks had been "cancelled" and three had shipped. When I looked more closely at the shipment notification, I noticed it only listed one. (I admit to not having read all the way down and only looked at the expected delivery date.) So I was very happy with the item I found, but am very disappointed with the lack of communication -- even inconsistencies in their order history. I've reached out to customer service, but really if they had let me know I couldn't get all five, I would have cancelled my order.

On the hunt for Halloween decor and other home goods, we stopped in At Home…read more We love the variety of selections with patterns, colors and textures on their everyday home items like towels, placemats and more. They usually have a good amount of seasonal items. They had their fall and Halloween items out and displayed and separated by season and holidays and we noticed that some seasonal and holidays items are repeats from last year. They try to provide new and fresh items for the current year which is nice but they were a few items we saw last year that we were hoping they would bring back but didn't. Either way we had a great time browsing and looking at the displays. My only gripe is I wanted a certain tablecloth and they had limited selection and availability.

It's new, rah-rah!…read more So, the TL;DR: not urban. Not loft. Not worth much time, imho. In long form: Gotta come clean: I don't get the capitalization problem in the name. "Every kiss begins with K," this is not. I also don't get the use of the words "Urban" or "Loft" to describe a shop that has the feel of a Christian study group, facebook- edgy (it's all in the "humorous" signs, right? [shakes head no, slowly in response]), Red Brick Cottage or Back Home (just slighly less emphasis on primitive or car-pool country, respectively) gift shop. Differences: Modern building. Lots of space. It's clean and fairly well organized. The graphic they're branding looks like a cross between a choir and a barn loft. Beautifully drawn, but nothing urban or remotely sophisticated about products or styling. I (unfortunately) turned up because of the words "Urban" and "Loft," expecting products appropriate for either setting, none of which were remotely what is stocked: pseudo-country generic fra-fra. Even given my mistaken impression, judging from opening and their holiday open house, they appear to buy collections from the usual suspects when they go to market and that's about the extent of things, judgment-wise, as far as their "style story." Shop meets none of my (minimal) expectations: a gift shop that at least offers a coherent (holding breath on 'unique') style, with quality products. In other words, there's a lot of matchy-matchy, not much coherence or underlying style / taste and it's all made in Asia. They hit all the expectations, in completely average ways: wine area, pet area, Harley / John Deere area, "I have a lake house" area, infants, a fair amount of "aw, menz are not us womenz," seasonal items, random kitchen items, blah, blah, blah....I'm already bored. Overall: not curated or decorated effectively. Only noteworthy thing that would bring me back: they stock a very small selection of luminara / mystique (new name, same brand, many old tones do not match their corresponding new tones, fyi, for long time brand fans) candles. Very limited sizes (like, they had one taper, one pillar, and that was pretty much it), only in one tone. They're priced high, but at least there isn't additional shipping time, if you need one in a pinch. They also have a few options for battery powered led string lights; but either they've picked the wrong suppliers or their prices are *shakes head*. What is worse, when I had questions about both their mystique / leds and whether they could order in other sizes, they basically looked at me like I had an active chainsaw arm adapter. Yeah, awesome, that.

I have been in the shop several times. The have great service and wonderful gift ideas and items.read more
