With its grown up version in Mall St Matthews, Pottery Barn Kids is a fantastic spot for babies and…read morekids as well as seasonal decor. The store keeps out a few toys that little hands can touch which makes it interactive enough for the entire family. I've shopped here for years. They have design consultants free of charge that come to your home, take measurements and share ideas. I used them when we purchased my son's bedroom and dresser set. It's held up very well over the years. Seasonal items are fun too - especially Christmas and Easter. You'll find ornaments, stockings, countdown calendars, baskets, etc. Bedding is offered for several themes. I primarily shop on the boys side and today we've seen Cars, Toy Story, Thomas the Train, Harry Potter and glow in the dark. We've had a few sets and have loved changing the sheets to display quirky designs. Over time some have faded but it's been a few years of washes. Several people register for baby showers here. They sell furniture, bedding, decor, rugs and toys. Both my boys have baby blankets from here and they've been their most loved items. Using a PB credit card earns you points. We've brought home a few free items including a fantastic hanging book shelf. We use it but pay it off right away to earn points but not interest.

I am canceling the chair and will search for a replacement made by another company. I am very disappointed in Pottery Barn.

The sales associate referred to the printing on the receipt, "as per our policy," which, yes, I can read. She and the owner were incredibly rude and the owner said that my mother had returned a lot of things before. This makes me think she wouldn't return something because of my mother in law which is even worse. I understand this is a small business, which is all the better reason to be respectful to your customers, even if you cannot make exceptions to your policy. Would I have loved if I could return for a store credit, yes of course, but I would have been okay with them not accepting my return if they were polite.
