From plants, home decor, books, clothing and more. We found a couple of planters, that fit our decor and personal style. The beauty behind the counter was amazing and knowledgeable. You can tell her love for the store and products was genuine. She even let us go upstairs to view and sit in their venue space they rent out. Eccentric and comfortable, but down to earth and all natural wood furniture. It was beautiful and the natural light from the windows made it a inviting. I also purchased a cup of coffee that they are now offering. They offered different cream options and sugars and flavoring. It was just want I need that morning. My kid found this neat spilt rock plant he wanted and I found some cookies and chocolates. I loved some of the clothes they had, just wasn't something I was interested in buying at the time. We definitely want to go back for Christmas time. We loved the atmosphere, my kid loved that the lady was willing to help him and listen to his requests. If you in the area take a minute to check them out!

The deal of the day was orange citrus salmon over couscous and vegetables, being snap peas. Delicious! Everything was flavourful. I cleaned my plate. I also enjoyed the lavendar lemon drop. The bartender knows how to make drinks! My meal was good! My mom had the ratatouille with added shrimp. She finished it but mentioned it was too heavy on the cumin. She had the lavendar lemon cake that she thought was decent. Now my daughter, who is 12 and a very picky eater didn't want anything off the menu but I figured she would eat the cheese and pepperoni plate on the kids meal. However, because she was not 10 the waitress said she couldn't have it. That's fine, I will respect the rules of the place but I was taken a back by their unwillingness to even have me pay for it but just charge her as an adult. My child is literally a chicken nuggets and french fry child. She eats nothing outside of her safe foods. She was fine just sitting there but geesh, they were really strict about this $6 dollar kid menu item. Eventually the waitress asked the manager I suppose and I was told exactly "we will only allow it for this one time". Well that pretty much sealed the deal. I was pretty sure there wouldn't be a second time. As stated, my meal was great. I'm thankful they had the special because honestly there wasn't anything on the menu that stood out for me. If it weren't for the special, I probably would have had the soup of the day, tomato cream basil. Our server just did not make me feel as if she either enjoyed working there or she enjoyed serving us. I'm not sure which one but I won't be back to find out. She just didn't come across as friendly, but Cecilia who delivered our bread was smiling and friendly. We paid, we tipped, we left! I would have given a 5 star rating if the experience was better!

You need to provide ID, and you will be given a wristband (free) which allows access to the tastings. Tastings are offered in the building with the gift shop. The tastings are free and you don't have to take the tour for the tastings. The tour is interesting and enjoyable, but you might want to make advance reservations as it does sell out at times. The gift shop is excellent, featuring everything from glasses and coasters to all varieties of clothing. There are many collectible items. Perfect place to shop for anyone who loves bourbon. There are different varieties of bourbon available each day. Today I scored a bottle of Eagle Rare, yay! Limited to one per person. It is well worth the drive to experience Buffalo Trace. It is a little off the Bourbon Trail but easy to find.

I hear this is the best tour in terms of history and tasting. I'm excited to see how this tour compares to the others. I really liked the Trace tour and I was very disappointed with the hard hat tour, which puts a lot of pressure on this tour to deliver. Ok, so this tour was awesome. So much history. Fun. Entertaining and great tasting experience. This is hands down the best tour I've been on at Buffalo Trace.
