To Whom It May Concern: During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Chuck's Beds miraculously worked with their Manufacturer to secure the Restonic Indigo king size bed I needed:  yes, needed. My medical team says I must now sleep on my side, as a lifelong back sleeper this is not an easy alteration. The mattress I had was not at all comfortable for side sleeping (my hip flexors would ache and legs fell asleep in 20-30 minutes), therefore I NEEDED a new mattress that I could sleep on my side in comfortably.  For me, that was the Restonic Indigo.  I cannot thank Chuck's Beds enough for taking the time to help me find the perfect mattress for me!  I'll be confident sending my friends and family in need of a mattress to Chuck's Beds, so they'll be sure to get the perfect mattress for them, at a fair price with swift delivery and set-up! Wonderful experience buying our new mattress here. Worked with Chuck and not once did he try to talk me into trying something over my stated budget (unlike other mattress places I'd shopped in). He was very knowledgeable about everything associated with the beds and helped me understand why the one we purchased was a good one. The bed hasn't been delivered yet but we've already (and easily) set up delivery, which is faster than I anticipated. I hope to not have to buy another mattress for a long time but when I do, we'll start there! read more

Buyer Beware !!!!! So ... I bought a new bed from Chuck's Mattress shop in Elizabethtown, KY Nov 29, 2016. They said they'd call me when it came in because they had to order it ..... A month later I went into the store and asked why they hadn't called. Their answer was that the owner, Chuck, had taken over the orders for about a month and screwed everything up. They thought they had gotten everyone squared away. I guess I slipped through the cracks ... Whatever, just fix it. Joe tells me that they have taken the ordering away from Chuck and that he will personally order my bed. It will be in on Wed Jan 4, 2017. Was it here? NO Did they call? NO I had to call them and ask what the status of my bed was and then told it would be Friday ... because of the holidays. I tell Chuck to have the delivery guys call at least an hour out so I can have someone at my house because I was at work. He says No problem. Was it here Friday? NO Did they call me? NO I stopped in after work and was told the truck was stuck in Lexington because of the weather. Yet again I was the Only one initiating the communication. Yet again they failed. Were compensations made? Kind of ... I was given a lavender scented pillow and a "body pillow" which was only the big fat pillows they put at the top of the display beds. Lord knows how many people laid their heads on it. { gross } This was returned to them! Did they offer to cut the price? NO Did they offer to upgrade? NO All I got was an "I'm sorry" NEVER NEVER NEVER shop there! I wouldn't go there to buy a dog bed! Piss poor business. Horrible customer service. Horrific management. No business running a business! Sorry does fix anything. His apology is the same as my bed ... nonexistent. read more

With regards to the shopping experience at Chuck's beds I have to say that I was very happy contrary to the last poster. I have never been bed shopping before so when I stopped in at Chuck's I was very much on guard against the steriotypical sales raptor that I was expecting, this proved not to be the case with Chuck who was himself the one Managing the sales there. I explained my problems with my existing bed and what I wanted and Chuck recommended a few options for me to try and was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient as I went through all the beds in his store that fit the profile of what I needed. There were no hard feelings when informed Chuck that I was leaving his store to go look at the other stores in town, he didn't try to stop me at all actually just wished me luck and said thanks for stopping by. After several hours spent in multiple other stores including sleep number and mattresfirm I found that the bed I liked at Chuck's was as comfortable as the $4000 one across the street, and returned to this establishment to confirm my findings. I was impressed that Chuck did not in fact try to sell me the most expensive bed in the store but instead guided me to a practical and economic option for me, stating that I shouldn't waste money on a bed that I would not reap the benefit from as I am an extraordinarily small framed and light weighing individual, making it unnecessary for me to spend extra money on extra support. I appreciate also that he carries brands that are American made have a long history in the industry. In short, I had a very positive shopping experience at this establishment and Chuck seemed like a very respectable and respectful bussiness man, he was upfront about aspects of the return policy and time frames for delivery also. At this time I absolutely recommend this bussiness. I recognize and understand that this does not give a complete picture of things as I have not concluded bussiness with them yet, I only purchased from Chuck yesterday and will have to update this post after I have received and used the bed for a few weeks, however I am confident that my positive experience with continue. I have purchased beds on two different occasions from Chuck and have always received treatment that made me feel important, I dealt with Chuck personally and he was attentive to all our needs and also highly knowledgeable about sleep patterns and aching bodies that lead us to the perfect mattress to help with our discomfort, as long as Chuck has a shop close by I will always go there and I always recommend anyone looking for a new mattress to seek him out for his expertise and competitive prices. --Kevin Young read more
