Their vibe is so comfortable and upscale combined and I love their local apparel. The sweatshirts are so, so soft and I love them. They are worth the splurge! The folks that work here are always helpful but not overbearing. They can see the shoppers where they check out and let us roam as desired. Beyond apparel, you'll find baby items, home decor and jewelry. Stop in, splurge or find a gift. Located at Nulu Marketplace. Parking lot nearby or street parking if it's busy.

We had just gotten into town so my hubs said lets check out more shops before you buy it and then see something cuter lol. 2 days later we were back for it :) the quality, the softness, the simple cute design, there is no better. I probably would have gotten a lot more stuff if I knew the rest of our vacation I'd find nothing in other towns (Lexington & Cincinnati) lol. Everyone loves my sweatshirt who sees it. I kept hounding my husband to get something but as much as I rather spoil my son and not myself he's even worse than me like that lol. Despite me saying you're on vacation this is so soft get something 50x.

I am so thankful that I stocked up on BLoFISH before the apocalypse and they are able to restock me using the Internet and the United States Postal Service. BLoFISH joggers, the t-shirt on the top of the pile, BLoFISH underwear, and the cardigan were my quarantine uniform. If I wanted to appropriate Eastern European culture I'd wear the jacket that matches the jogger and a darling gold necklace from Revelry down the street. If I had bedhead from one of my between-feedings naps I'd pop on a baseball hat or the slouchy toboggan. What you die in is your ghost outfit, FOREVER. Do you really want to be wearing a pizza-stained 'ironic' t from Target and pajama bottoms forever?* My sister made BLoFISH her rehab-from-COVID19 uniform and was DASHING. A veritable fashion plate for the hospitalized people of the world. I attribute her success and recovery to comfortable, responsible fashion. So, thank you, BLoFISH for making the Quarantine life fashionable and comfortable. BLoFISH is always ALWAYS a responsible member of our community, giving back in substantial ways and just in general making Louisville better. *I don't want to sit by ugly ghosts in the afterlife. You make forever choices every day, choose well.

Well, I stopped in during this year's NuLu Bock Fest and as usual wanted many of the shirts. The fabric they use is so so soft! And they have some cute and fun designs. I ended up buying a simple, Blofish branded t-shirt. I won't lie, I only bought it because I loved the color so much! And it is so comfy! I love their mission and I love that a portion of every sale goes to a charity. I like that they are unisex. I don't love that the sizing (the number of lil' fishies) is marked clearly on the outside of the clothing. But that is probably because I am just insecure and prideful. :-P I am sure I will be back and they will get more of my money soon!

This review is an easy one to write. After a less than stellar first wedding dress shopping…read moreexperience elsewhere I had decided to wait awhile before I gathered the out of town family for round 2. I had spoken with my wedding planner regarding other wedding boutique options and she said that Modern Trousseau had recently opened (opened on August 2, 2016) in the Henry Clay. She stated she had not yet been there, but it could be worth checking out. I made my appointment online and in less than an hour I had received an e-mail back from Morgan, the Sales Director, confirming my appointment and providing me with how the store operates; including the designer's information, the price range, how the appointment works, etc. I had a few follow up questions and these were answered timely and professionally. The parents and an additional family friend joined me; my matron of honor had a conflict so she received photos. The store is pristine. Located on the corner of Chestnut Street within the Henry Clay (does have its' own entrance off of Chestnut). It is modern, chic and a very clean look. Mostly white with a hint of pink throughout. The lack of clutter and design of the store made it easy to focus on the purpose of the visit. Morgan was incredibly professional. She offered waters and coffee and got the group comfortable on the large couch (in front of large mirror and pedestal) while she and I began looking through the selection of dresses. We pulled about five of them to start with and I was informed that since the dresses are made by one designer they can be very customizable. It is a private appointment so Morgan was focused on helping me in and out of the gowns without distractions. Very nice touch! After trying on the five gowns, I could have said I would have been more than happy to have gotten married in four of the five, but I settled on the first one I tried on! A few small tweaks I wanted to make and everyone in the group, including myself, were very happy with the choice. Morgan then walked us through the payment process. Meaning, she tells us the price, we pay :) All professional, I might add. One of the highlights of this process for me was learning about the measurement process. Modern Trousseau does a preliminary measurement in order to know how much fabric to order, but the final measurement is done 8-10 weeks out from the wedding (in case the stress gets to your waistline one way or the other). We were in and out in 45 minutes (appointment was estimated 1.5-2 hours and we were not rushed) and incredibly happy with the experience and the wedding gown selection. Modern Trousseau is quite different than the other boutiques in Louisville and it provides a unique, but wonderful experience for brides. As a follow up to my first appointment, Morgan had offered to let me come back in with my matron of honor to try the dress back on and take care of the measurements. As a "recently opened" promotion we were offered morning mimosas during the appointment and time to ask additional questions about the dress, accessories, etc. I cannot say that I would have had that private follow up appointment elsewhere and it really catered to the concept of not only are you purchasing a dress, but also offered a great experience.

We are all so relieved when she moved the man 3 feet over from where he was standing. As I sat and waited on my daughters to try on clothes, I was told I couldn't sit there. Why? I'll never know. However, the one in Cincy will be going out of business in January. On the way home to AL I stopped by this location thinking they would have a good choosing of designer shoes, and boy was I majorly disappointed. They didn't have one major designer shoe at all. I was completely shocked by this considering Cincy had more options. I assumed most Saks Off 5th were the same. I know they don't carry the same styles or exact same shoes, but I at least thought they would carry the same amount of designer options. However, this location I feel may be a bigger store and was more organized. The choices were slim and nothing to report home about. It reminded me of a Nordstrom except with not as many good choices as Nordstrom. This location was not what I expected, and they did not have the options that I expected them to have.
