I've never had a proper fitting for a bra. I needed to replace all of mine (I hadn't bought new ones for a while!) and I had lost weight. I've been aware of Ann's Bra Shop for many years, but had never been there. I knew from friends that they were very helpful. I finally went there! There was a sign in sheet for those who needed help with a fitting as opposed to those just shopping. I signed in and only had to wait a few minutes before someone was available to help me. I was asked what I needed help with and I explained my needs and likes/dislikes. I was taken to a dressing room and measured. Then I was brought literally the perfect bra for me! I was very impressed! The bras needed to be ordered so we took care of that and we were finished. I couldn't believe how fast and easy the whole process was! I was also really surprised at how many bras and swimsuits were in the store! I would be really surprised if someone couldn't find a bra there that worked for them. I am an 11 year breast cancer survivor with a double mastectomy in 2015 at age 39, a second reconstruction in 2017 with an infection with one breast removal with another surgery in 2017 to put the implant back in. I developed a brand called "boobtique" for women to get what they need for their breast cancer journey when they don't know what they need. I'm still completing my brand with my wellness studio in Ballwin called Elevate wellness studio as well as owning two OsteoStrong facilities in the St. Louis area. I am also a portrait of hope for the ACS. In April 2026 I needed another reconstruction and went to Ann's bra shop 3 days after surgery to get the bra(s) I needed. I told my husband on the way there - I just want you with me to help me - I know what we need and I don't want anyone else helping us; you're my support system and I want you with me. He said. "Ok. I got you!" NOBODY greeted us when we talked in. NOBODY asked us if we needed help. NOBODY told us where fitting rooms were. We chose 4 bras and went into the dressing rooms that appeared open to the public. My husband helped me and then when I needed a different size he went to go get it for me. This is a very emotional time for a woman and scars and lack of mobility are a real thing. They told my husband he had to leave the dressing room after they came in with I had no clothes on my upper body. They didn't ask to come in or anything. They made my husband leave. I sat down on the bench all alone in the dressing room. I started breaking down into tears bc I didn't want to feel alone and I didn't want a stranger to help me. I needed my husband who was my support system. We were not told there was a special private room. We were not told anything. I bought one bra, simply because it was the day before Easter and I needed one to wear to church tomorrow that wasn't uncomfortable and now I'll buy the rest elsewhere. I was left feeling alone, sad and unsupported and no questions were asked on how to make me feel more comfortable. I will never be back. I own my own business where I deal with survivors all the time and I will not refer anyone your way because you do not make me feel comfortable or supported. I do not need a response from you defending yourself - I wasn't greeted at your facility, I didn't know the protocol and nobody asked if we needed help. I suggest you work on your company culture. My wife asked me to go with her to pick a bra that was more comfortable on her after breast cancer reconstruction surgery. After picking a few options and heading to the dressing room, we were rudely approached by a lady who told me I was not allowed to be in the dressing room area due to privacy concerns. That is 100% understandable but it didn't keep that lady from barging into our room unannounced. After having just had surgery, my wife was very upset about having her biggest supporter kicked out for doing nothing wrong. I went back to address the way we were treated after I walked her to our car. When I mentioned that my wife was upset and had been treated poorly, the same lady said "you may talk to your wife that way but you want talk to me the same". In what world is making that kind of accusation acceptable? I'm not looking for gold stars but isn't it a good thing when a husband supports his wife in this space? Bad customer service is an understatement. People should be fired over this type of behavior. read more

There are fitting rooms to try it on and the ladies there are helpful to get you correctly measured. They also have a bra club for 1 point every dollar spent and at $350 you get $35 off I believe. I've heard about Ann's for years and had been meaning to stop in and check them out. My sister raves about Ann's. If she isn't purchasing her trusted tried and true bra's from Le Mystere, she'll come to Ann's. My co-worker also recommended them. I called ahead to verify the hours and decided on Thursday, since it's their late night and they close at 8pm instead of 6pm. They're easy to find, a straight shot down Olive Blvd in the Chesterfield Plaza strip mall. There is plenty of parking. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked the nature of my visit. Since I needed a fitting, I was asked to sign-in on the clip board and directed to the waiting area. I love the individualized service and extensive selection of bras, lingerie and underwear. My personal associate was Karen DeLuca. When I say she is amazing!!!! OMGGGGG. She was extremely helpful, polite, patient and knowledgeable. After sizing me, she informed me that I was a 34/GG. I assumed I was still a DDD, apparently not. Karen went and grabbed a few bras in my size for me to try on. She came back with these sexy colorful bras. I immediately thanked her for not bringing me any granny/basic bras to try on. She helped me get into the bras and adjusted the straps. She provided tips and pointers. I never felt rushed or pressured. ASK for KAREN!!!! I'm taking my mom for a visit. I've already been spreading the word to a couple of my friends. I love how Ann's provides a plethora of options for us larger breasted women. The bras are sexy and provide shape and support. You can't find that often. They also sell swimwear, adhesive strips/tape to go braless, lingerie bags and detergent. Ohhhh I forgot they have a great selection of sports bras. I purchased 2 bra's, a sports bra and a bottle of detergent to wash the bras. Their size options and selections do not disappoint as well as being reasonably priced. Unfriendly vibe. No "hello" or "we'll be right with you" at the door when I could see multiple employees. There are multiple signs saying "if you have recently smoked marijuana or smell like marijuana to go away" which is a little ridiculous and extreme. It's legal. Get over it. Picture a group of older women who walk into a restaurant and expect the servers to bend over backwards for them, that's who works here. I stopped here after work in an old sports bra and the lady told me that I was wrong and it isn't a sports bra, I'm wearing an undershirt. Yeah.... I get it, it's 7 years old from SHEIN but I'm in here now to get a nice bra..... so maybe..... don't talk down about what I'm wearing? But if a 31 year old treated her like that, we would have to call 911 for the audacity. Oh and there's a check in for a fitting so I signed my name (I was the only new person on the list) and walked around for like 3 minutes. Then the lady came and said "are you ..." so I said "yes" and she acted annoyed and said "well I've been hollering for you up there." I'm only giving them one star because giving negative stars isn't an option. I went to Ann's in Wentzville first. The ladies did not want to be bothered. They were rude and condescending. I really needed help after a stressful double mastectomy but got none. I thought I'd try another Ann's so I went to Chesterfield. You are greeted with a sign that states if you smell of smoke you will be asked to leave. seriously??! I am not a smoker but I have never seen a store state they will ask you to leave if they don't like the way you smell. Even though it was a horrible first impression, I really needed help so I went in. No one greeted me or even looked up from what they were doing. So I started to look around with my husband who was there to support me, however, he was asked to stand at the opposite side of the store away from the dressing rooms. The rooms had curtains. Privacy was not an issue as they claim. Not only that, it's blatant discrimination against transgender individual. When someone finally did try to help they were just as rude and condescending as the store in Wentzville. The prices are outrageous. 400 dollars for one silicone breast. It's obvious they are price gouging and taking advantage of women in stressful situations along with abusing medical insurance. NOT impressed at all! read more

Okay, so this place is crazy! (In a good way.) They have just about every size imaginable. I know they specialize in post-surgery patients and specialty cases, but that's not why I came in here. I thought I needed an special bra to go under my wedding dress. I didn't end up needing the corset so I returned it. But i was so excited by the options for bras they had that I bought another one. I told them I needed an excellent strapless bra so I wouldn't be limited to dress only with straps when I tried on dress. Two weeks ago, I had an emergency mastectomy. I hadn't planned for it, nor did I have any idea what to expect. I was absolutely lost when it came to what bra to wear or what type of prosthetic would be best for me. I looked on Amazon but was still completely clueless. I, then, decided to use Google and Ann's was the first business to pop up. Since I can remember, I've seen the billboard leaving Rolla, but never associated the business with what I would ever need. The website clearly explained that my insurance would cover what I needed, which was a HUGE incentive for me. So, I drove the 2 hours one way to see what exactly Ann's could do for me. I felt helpless as I pulled up to the business, not knowing what I needed or even why I was there. All I knew is a part of me was missing and I needed help. Help is what I received. They were fast, courteous and they understood that I was clueless to what I needed. By the time I walked out of that store, I felt like a new woman; a new happy woman. The women were disrespectful (I think one was the owner) as they talked down to me about my bra (because it wasn't Ann's) and told me my problem was my posture when I have a medical diagnosis. I actually overheard them talking about me on the way to the dressing room. An employee was eating chips in the corner while watching tv. Not realizing she worked there, I was looking for someone professional. She took her hand out the bag then walked over to see if my bra was tight enough. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HUGE ATTITUDE ISSUES!!! Do not waste your time in this "establishment!" I want to personally commend the employees for making me feel 100% unwelcome, ignored and talked down to - great job. (ensue sarcasm) I walked in and wrote my name on the list, just like requested, in order to get any service from them. Keep in mind that there were 3 woman hanging around the desk and only 2 customers in the store (including me), and somehow none of these "talented employees" could help me. Finally, when one lady was able to take my measurements, she tossed 2 bras in the dressing at me, which were not even the correct size!! After I told her that they were the incorrect size, instead of admitting her error and getting me the correct size, she coped a nasty attitude and grabbed the bra, poked my breast, and told me, angrily, that I should be able to go up a size. The bra was gaping and the cup was all the way under my armpit. After that, instead of helping me, she walked out of the dressing room, did not close the curtain, crossed my name off the list, and went on to another woman who had just come into the store. Feeling disrespected and extremely frustrated, I went to the register where the other 2 women were congregated. I politely said excuse me and tried to ask if they had a certain bra in my size and could help me find it. The woman ignored me and acted like I was irritating her and interrupting her (she was talking to herself when I asked) and told me to wait. After standing there for another 2 minutes she eventually addressed me and told me that she couldn't help unless my name was on the list. I told her it already was and that the other woman walked off on me. The woman again went back to talking and laughing to herself, and I grabbed my purse and left. The sad thing is, my bras cost at least $80, and I would have been happy to spend it, but their ignorance and horrible customer service made me run the other way. Extremely disappointed! Very rude, & insensitive! She actually told me that I should be thankful I did not have my breast cut off like she did 7 years ago! I called to make sure I had everything I needed, before driving there. I tried to tell them about my doctor's recommendations (I had a script) and what my insurance said they would cover after a lumpectomy, they insisted that the insurance would only cover a bra if I also purchased a silicone pad. I talked to my insurance, they did not! I did not need a silicone pad. I used something else that was recommended by my physical therapist which works! I wasn't asking for a discount or anything other than to help me choose a bra as prescribed & provide the information for me to submit it to my insurance. Their customer service was awful! Before posting I sent a letter to the owner to suggest they provide sensitivity training for their staff. Instead of apologizing or understanding she wrote back implying, I was trying to involve them in something illegal! I will never ever shop there again!!! read more

I'm a 71-year-old woman & have recently lost over 50 pounds so i wanted a new bra from Anns Bra Shop. I went to Chesterfield & I thought the checkout lady was very nice but the salesperson doing the fitting was very rude. I was in & out of there in 10 minutes. She basically told me I was too old to have any cleavage. I don't want much just don't want the bra right up against my skin. she brought me a bra that I didn't like & she told me that's what I needed to wear. She might have been right, but I didn't like it & didn't think that was the only one for me. So, she was aggravated when she brought me a different one. She did help me with it, but I could tell she didn't want to. Then she told me I needed to pull that fat up in there. She also measured me wrong & sold me the same size I was wearing 50 pounds ago!!! Yes, I was so intimidated by her I not only bought one, but I bought two!!! How crazy was that?? I am wearing the one I had on when I left but would like to send the other one back. I told the lady I was post surgery and couldn't do an underwire until 3 months after surgery She tried to act like she knew better than my doctor when I told her I couldn't be an underwire. Then they tried to put me in a 42 band with an extender I'm not a 42 if I have to have an extender find me a proper fitting band with my cup size and then all they could offer me as a young woman is frumpy grandma styles no carry a better selection of bras not everybody is a grandma not everybody wants to wear a frumpy bras read more

I don't know how the experience here would be for someone with normal sized breasts. Even though I'm only 18, I'm a 30J currently so I can only buy bras from specialty shops. If you're like me, I would highly recommend Bravo Bra Boutique, the lady who owns it is extremely helpful and not pushy, and knows how to correctly size. I came here because I'm pregnant and my boobs have gotten too big for my 30J bra. I walk in and sign in for a fitting and am taken immediately, which was nice. However, I walked into the fitting room and once the lady helping me joined me, she measured me. My waist measured at 27.5 inches around. She started me out in a size DD bra, without asking my current size. No idea how she measured me as a DD when I'm literally five sizes bigger than that. I tried it on anyway, and she slowly brought me one size up and I tried on so many bras until we finally got to an H or an I and she settled. My boobs were puffing at the top and it was clearly to small a cup size, and the waist band she gave me was too big for me. She was new (and the kindest person in the store to me) so she called for help. Cue the rudest lady I've met in a while walking in to measure me again. Again, 27.5 inch waist, which is accurate. But for some reason, she tried to fit me into a 36 size band!! She insisted that it was the size I needed because I'm pregnant and my rib cage would grow, and also insisted that my boobs were done growing and that I should just wear the 36G bra she gave me. The cup was too small already, and I wanted to go up a cup size from what I should be (which is probably a JJ) because, while I am 5 months right now, my boobs just started growing this last week and will continue (and have) to grow for a few weeks. I pulled the 36 waist band right so my boobs weren't falling through and, I shit you not, an entire other person my size could have fit in that waist band with me. The rule of thumb is if you can comfortably fit two fingers into the band, then it's too big. Anyway at this point I wanted to look around on my own because they also weren't understanding the type of bra that I was looking for even though I explained it in detail. Normally if they don't have something in the store, they would offer to order it, but I got no offer. I couldn't look around on my own because, through the process, every single woman working there had come in, seen my boobs hanging in their full saggy glory (and left the curtain open a few times to the point where I just gave up on modesty), and been rude to me in some sense. I texted my boyfriend (who had been patiently waiting for over two hours now-keep in mind I was helped immediately upon arrival) and he told me the women were walking around the front of the store talking shit about me and laughing about it saying things like "that's not going to happen (talking about me wearing a 28 or 30 sized band, like I should)." So I took off the bra that was too small in the cup (still)-even though I know some brands they sold specifically make my size-put on my own bra and shirt, and we walked out. Let me just say too that this isn't the first bad experience I've had here, and I don't plan on returning unless it's a different Ann's and I won't be asking for help from the employees in finding my size. I was 5 months pregnant and desperately needed a bra that fit. Ann's has an incredible breadth of styles and sizes. After being there less than 10 minutes, I knew I was in the right place. Pat fitted me and was spot on with sizing. I bought two bras in size 32I US (that's 32DDDDDD, or 32G UK), including one nude bra and one sports bra. I also bought a wireless lounge bra (meant for mastectomy patients and nursing moms) that actually gives me support but is super comfortable. The perfect thing to throw on after work. And I was in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday, with personalized service the entire time! They had every bra I tried on in multiple colors in my size. I was blown away. Compare this to Nordstrom where they might have 1 bra in my size in the whole store, or none. I will definitely be back. THANK YOU!!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE, if you want help finding a bra. I have happily shopped at the Wentzville (formerly O'Fallon) location for 15+ years. I happened to be in Chesterfield, and had been needing a new bra, so I decided to stop in there and see if they have any different selections than Wentzville. I was greeted in an unfriendly manner and told to go back to a fitting room. After measuring me, the woman went out and brought back in the exact same bra I came in wearing, even after I told her I wanted something different. I pointed out to her the things I didn't like about my current bra and asked if they have any other brands that might work for me. She told me, in a very rude, impatient manner, that if I wanted something else, I can go out and look for myself. For anyone unfamiliar with Ann's, they customarily do all the selecting for you, since they know their stock better than the customer would. I was shocked at her attitude. She just flat-out refused to do her job! I promptly put my clothes on and walked out the door, without another word. I will be informing the women at the Wentzville location how I was treated there, so they can report back to the owner. I hope that woman loses her job...it is simply unacceptable to treat anyone, let alone customers, the way she treated me. On Saturday, December 5th, I spent approximately $140 here. The sales associate helping me asked if I wanted to wear one of the new bras out. I said yes. She gathered the new bras I was purchasing and the bra I wore into the store. When I got home, I noticed that the bra I wore to the store was not in the bag. I called immediately, but they were already closed. There was no greeting on the voice mail so I had no idea if I was actually calling Ann's Bra Shop or some random number. I also left a message on their Facebook Page. The owner replied and asked me to call back when they were open. Someone from the store left a message on my voice mail indicating that they would ship the bra to me if I left my address. She never mentioned shipping charges. I work 8AM - 5PM and was starting a new job. With their inconvenient hours and my hectic schedule, I was unable to call until the next Saturday. When I spoke with Colleen, I was told that there would be a shipping charge for me to get my bra back. I told her that was ridiculous as they made the mistake. I also told her that someone from the store called and offered to ship it back and never said anything about shipping charges. Colleen was extremely rude and immature. She told me if I didn't like the shipping charges, I would just have to drive back out to the store to get my bra. I told her this was their mistake and it was unbelievable how unreasonable they were being. Then she accused me of purposely hanging on to the bra and not putting it in the bag. I have no idea what advantage that would have given me, but that is what she accused me of doing. I told her how unbelievably unprofessional and rude it was to accuse a customer of doing something like that. She just laughed at me. I ended the call as it was obvious I was dealing with unintelligent, immature, rude losers who wouldn't last a week at any other job. I picked up the bra today. I have now visited Ann's twice. The first time was on a Saturday. It was very busy and I waited about 45 minutes for a fitting specialist to assist me. When she finally called my name I followed her into the dressing room. She was in such a hurry and kept darting in and out of the curtained dressing room while I was changing. (Not for the modest!) She kept throwing different bras at me to try. I tried to tell her what I liked and disliked about them but she just kept bringing me the same ones. I ended up with a bra I wasn't sure about. Fast forward to today, a Tuesday. I decided to take the bra back and try again. (Thinking maybe a weekday would be more relaxed!) I left the return at the counter and told them I wanted to look around. I found a couple to try on and then a lady called my name. She said I would need to try on the other bra I was returning first. (Frustrating! I already said it was not comfortable!) So I showed her what I didn't like and she finally agreed. I finally got to try on one of the others and liked it. I did want to try some other styles from the same brand but she kept looking at her watch. When I said I liked the one she rushed out of the room and said it would be waiting at the counter for me. I love this place! They are one of the few places if not only place in Stl I can get unders that fit me due to my petite frame and larger bust. For this they should receive a million and one stars. The place looks kinda bare and not very pretty when you walk in - I think they could work on making the place look more girly. I mean come on, it's a WOMEN's shop and we love "pretty" things and it's all about unders so let's be a little girly up in here. I digress. You can either sign in on a sheet for a fitting or just browse by yourself. I always sign in for a fitting and then browse while I wait because if I'm going to spend good money on these suckers I want them to fit properly and be amazingly comfortable. It can be awkward in the fitting room because, yes, they do ask you to de-robe and they see you all naked n stuff but hey, they know what they are doing and are 1000x better at fitting you than anyone at VS. They can offer great advice and bring back some bras to try on and evaluate with you which is awesome. My biggest complaint with them is that since my size is a hard to find size - I get it - they have very little selection in my size. But isn't that what they are for? An unders shop that carries more selection and sizes than other places with knowledgeable fitters? I'm young so I don't want some old lady looking unders. I mean come on. I wanna feel sexy and confident not matronly. I wish they'd have a few more molded bras instead of old lady ones in my size. The good news is they will order you one (it takes like a month) but it's free shipping and you can try it on before you buy it which is great! :) However, I know there are cute unders in my size available, I just wish you'd carry it and make my life easier instead of forcing me into online shopping for unders which I despise! read more
