She tried to get me to shop in misses although I wear some plus sized items. She tried to get me to come back another day when there was a sale. She tried to make me order items instead of buying in person. Ack! I just want to shop! I try to be respectful to my elders but she truly has run me out of the store - twice! I've driven by this place an innumerable amount of times and I always just thought it was clothes for older persnickety women. Well either I'm one of those women now or I was under a misapprehension but my purchase worked out for me. I had the option to purchase online but really wanted to try things on as I wasn't sure of the cut. I'd called another location yet this location really went out of their way for me. They pulled two or three sizes and since they would be closing soon, they made a valiant effort to have the items ready for me in the waiting room. I walked in, they knew it was me (lucky guess), I tried them on, they fit, I purchased them at the already discounted price; and the lovely associate granted me with an additional coupon!  I was able to score two linen skirts. Both normally retail for about $100 each and I was able to snatch both for $50 and some change. Great quality pieces, nice service that was attentive and fast... The first visit, I was assisted by an amazing rep that helped me with jean selection, and fitting; she was so helpful, patient, and kind. The second visit I dropped off a pair of jeans for altering that I had shipped to my house. It was a different rep, but once again, there was the same patience and kindness. Fast forward month to today, I picked up the last pair of jeans I dropped off for alterations, and the rep was once again, nothing short of wonderful! I explained my jeans were probably long overdue to be picked up, but she went in back without hesitation, the rep reappeared with a smile and my jeans. I felt bad that it took me so long to get back to the store, but The Buckle treated me remarkably each visit. Now, here's the reason for four stars versus five. The jeans are very comfortable, but very trendy. I really need a "nice" pair of dark washed jeans, and The Buckle was unable to deliver. I know it's the current style, but I just need dark washed jeans without holes or bling.
