There were no other customers when I arrived. Two employees were at the cash wrap. I was greeted and they asked if I needed help, which I did. One of the women started helping me, but it was grudgingly and she was muttering under her breath. As soon as a third employee started her shift, I was rudely given to her so she could help me. Her name is Cheryl and she was great! She was making sure I didn't leave until I got what I came for. She was friendly and extremely helpful. I don't know how she puts up with that other woman! The store isn't huge but they seemed to have a decent selection in there. While not inexpensive, it wasn't crazy expensive. I'd go back, but I'd want to make sure Cheryl would be there!

Most of the clothes (especially dresses and tops) are geared toward small-chested, skinny chics, neither of which describes moi. However, I've lucked up with more than a few super cute finds. You really just have to try everything on and not assume it will or won't fit. This particular location is quite small in comparison to locations in other cities. They rarely have what I'm looking for so I end up buying mostly online and just returning here if it doesn't fit (you cannot exchange unless they have it in-store). I agree with other Yelpers' sentiment about the workers. Service is subpar. They are completely disconnected from the customer service aspect of retail. I may get a greeting upon arrival, but usually that doesn't happen. I usually feel like I'm bothering them when I ask a question. I hope St. Louis adds another store in Frontenac or West County. In the meantime, I'll come here only if I need to return an online order.

It would be nice to show appreciation for both brands and not just the most popular . Everybody do not wear Pink. I walked up to the cash register where there were 5 people standing around, but I think they just had a quick meeting and then quickly dispersed as I reached the counter. A woman greeted me and helped me with the return right away. She was almost finished when I told her what had happened. She quickly changed her demeanor, I assume she was on auto-pilot, but my one-off threw her off. She was appreciative of me sharing the information and even took it a step further to write down my order number. I didn't want these to be bought by someone else who gets disappointed by the factory mess up. She finished and wished me a great rest of my day.

I've been coming to Nordstrom since high school, and I've always loved how much of a variety of items they have. They have the ability to reach a variety of customers and offering a variety of items at different price ranges. went in Saturday, June 7th around 5 pm and had the absolute worst shopping experience. I went in to…read morepick up an online order, get sized for a new bra and shop around. Not only was I not greeted but more like ignored by Lauren at the front counter. After she avoided looking up at me as I stand in front of her at the register, I went ahead and said hello and that I was there for an online order. She proceeded to let me know she'd get with me when she can that she had many things she already was doing. I let her know that's okay and began looking around. I could tell she was either having a bad day or overwhelmed (Although in the store there was maybe 3-4 people including the fitting area). Once I seen her head to the back I thought I'd be nice and head back there so she could do a measurement without having to walk to the counter and then back to the bra area. Not only did she rudely ask for my ID when I asked her to do the measurement while still holding the bag in the middle of the store she did not offer me a bag to put my online purchase in nor did she ask me to check it. Lauren conducted the measurement in the most demeaning way she had me hold the measurement tape to my bust and spin around and when I went "to fast" she yelled at me to stop. She then told me my measurements which seemed completely off because I recently lost a significant amount of weight and that was bigger then any bra size I've had since wearing a bra for 17 years . I asked her was she sure and seen her look up to make a face at her coworker at the register as if I shouldn't have questioned her. I went ahead and thanked her and did not purchase a bra there but instead went and got measured somewhere else which was 5 sizes smaller then what she told me and bought a bra on torrids website. If I shop with torrid ever again it will not be at this location, which is disappointing because It's the closest and I have shopped here for years at this location. I've had many encounters with Lauren, she is never welcoming or nice but today she was plain rude and disrespectful.
