We ate at Annie's tonight and the food was incredible! But the food wasn't even the best part. The entire staff at Annie's treats you like family from the moment you get there to the moment you leave. We have a small baby who can be kind of messy and they did nothing but accommodate us and make us feel at home. read more

I love Asian food and generally have been unimpressed with what Humboldt County has to offer. When Annie's opened in its new location on F Street, I knew I had to check it out. Hallelujah! The food was excellent, the ambience was clean and inviting, and the service was solid. After only one visit, this is now my go-to place in the area. Everything I have sampled has been good and most of it has been great! After a year of trying over a dozen different restaurants, I discover the best of the bunch is only four blocks away. Thank you, Annie's! read more

You don't see to many "Cambodian" themed restaurants around - so being the total slut that I am for Asian cuisines - I knew I needed to try this place out! Annie's is not much to look at from the outside - but I never let that dissuade me from trying new places! I looked over the menu and intentionally ordered a couple of items I've never eaten before: - Bongkea Chien - Somlaw Kari Sach Mouen Both were enjoyable. In particular - the Somlaw Kari Sach Mouen was outstanding! The Red Curry offered just the right amount of heat, the chicken was melt in your mouth tender, and the vegetables in the dish were tender and succulent! Outstanding meal! #AnniesCambodian read more

I haven't been to the new location since they moved to Henderson center since I moved away years ago. I love this new spot. It's very inviting and beautiful inside. The service was wonderful and all the waiters were very attentive. The food is very authentic and is great quality. Best place to get Cambodian food! You will not regret it! read more

A Eureka classic! Now in a much better location. Delicious food, served by very pleasant people who care..

I have to say up-front that I am not Cambodian and do not know the specifics that differentiates the cuisine from other similar cuisines in Mainland Southeast Asia. However, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the red curry soup and the green papaya salad. Both were delightful. My children enjoyed Annie's House Fried Rice, and my partner had the Chicken Lime Soup, which I also sampled and we both really liked it. We ordered our food to go, and it was neatly packed for us, and the staff called to let us know when our order was ready, which was very kind and rather unexpected. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the location was clean and quiet. I'm sure we would have enjoyed it if we had eaten in house. read more

If you want pho in eureka this is the place to go. The food was all amazing for my first time there and I will definitely be going back to enjoy more items on the menu. The curry over white rice was amazing. The pho where you can choose to add more items into it was a total plus really get to personalize the pho with a lot of choices to choose from as well. The spring rolls were delicious. The atmosphere was really nice they had some good music playing and it was very clean. The service was really good as well which just brought it all together. The young lady we had was very nice and always making sure if we were ok or needed anything. read more

I came here for lunch with my coworker. I started with a thai tea and was happy to see that they make it in-house. The tea comes out separated from the half and half and you need to mix it. The thai tea was good. My coworker shared his shrimp spring rolls and that was decent. I have had better but I would order them again. They were fresh and had noodles and mint inside. I would have liked to have more veggies inside for a nice crunch and a peanut sauce to dip in as well. For my main dish, I ordered the lemongrass chicken dish. I found the dish to be very fishy while I was eating it. The fish sauce was very overpowering. I took my leftovers home and reheated them for dinner. It ended up tasting better for dinner. The dish had green bell peppers, onions, chicken, and lemongrass in it. I can see the lemongrass hairs in it so I'm assuming its powdered lemongrass. Overall, the dish was also a little on the saltier side. I wish I had more rice to eat my left overs with. I will probably be back to try the pad thai here. read more

Delicious! Such a beautiful restaurant and everyone that works there was wonderful. 100/10 will be returning to try every dish on the menu

Always delicious! Fair priced and friendly service. I always get there soups as the broth is delectable

Ordered a pick-up for their Cambodian Turmeric crepe with vegetables and a vegetable stir fry with tofu entree. Crepe was delicious, I've never had a Cambodian crepe before and I'd very much have it again. On the other hand, Vegetable Stir fry was very average and I'll probably skip it next time. They do not have restrooms for customers which is sad. There's enough parking for about 6 cars behind the restaurant. read more

Great food always has been, and is suffering from the hustle and bustle of all new clientele in the Henderson center location. We waited 2nd in line for 20 min and there was a big crowd behind us coming in at opening. There were plenty of folks trying to push past those who had patiently waited and we actually had to say something to the pushers. They seated us right next to the first table and we were glad to be at the front of the crowd/rush. They didn't have enough menus so we gladly gave one of ours up to help. Then it got wierd, they took the order from table 1 behind us, then went to the other side and started taking orders from the far wall, who all came in well after everybody else. With the prospect of being behind 5-6 tables of varying sizes, who didn't wait at all, we up n left. We've been coming to Annie's for years so we will def be back but after they figure out how to handle all the new pushy clientele in Henderson center. See you guys soon. read more

Are used to love this place and eat here all the time. I understand Covid and prices have gone up but the fried rice that was literally 1195 is now 1695 and all the entrées which were around $10 are now around $17 I absolutely will never eat here again because of that that is absurd. I have never in my life been to a restaurant where they have nearly double the cost of the entrées I love this place I love all the food here but I will not pay that much for the food. It's not because I can't afford it it's because it's not worth it at that price and it's absolutely delicious but I'm sorry that is ridiculously overpriced. I will not say the name of it but the Thai food place in Arcata which is also ridiculously overpriced is far more better if you're going to be paying that much money for anything. I hope you guys see this and realize that you shot yourself in the foot with your pricing. 2-3 dollars extra i understand but literally almost doubling the cost if the dish is unacceptable. read more

These pictures are from two different occasions and both times the food was flavorful, beautiful and generous in portions. The fried shrimp are light and crispy, not too greasy. The spring rolls were so refreshing with a very creamy peanut sauce. Creamy with a tang Each plate was a different combination of distinct flavors and spices that made each bite a unique experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, kids and all. The staff are very friendly and family oriented. I highly recommend stopping in if you are cruising through or live in Eureka. With the fantastic food And staff you will not be disappointed. read more

We've been twice, and the food is nice (when they get your order right) but the service is weirdly hostile. You will be rushed through your meal, and be overcharged, The first time, their host dropped all six glasses of water on my mum (she wasn't hurt, but soaked) and did not apologize. It was...wild. They brought me my meal with chicken instead of the shrimp I ordered, and I let them know but didn't send the meal back, and we got the bill WITH THE EXTRA SHRIMP CHARGE. The second time around (we really wanted to give them another chance) they didn't bring me the side chilies that THEY suggested, and rushed us through the entire meal (checked" on us 6 times, and brought the bill when I was less than halfway through my entree). These seem like pretty easy fixes, but the bad service and stinginess and overcharging left a really bad taste in my mouth. read more

This restaurant is not just amazingly delicious for our area, but for anywhere! Beyond the food being done so right, the service has the quality of our small populous area...kind, personable and considerate. Their decor is done very well too. There is a super cozy waiting area, beautiful paintings, plants (some fake hanging plants) and great music playing. This place got it just right. It's my favorite place to eat in our area. read more

Had never tried Cambodian food, but Annie's was recommended by a friend so we had to give it a try. From the big friendly greeting at the door to the smiles and waves when we left, the service was great. I had a green papaya salad with shrimp, husband had the house fried rice and my mother-in-law tried a rice noodle and vegetables dish with added shrimp. We, all three, were certain our dish was best. My mother-in-law, who lives in Eureka, plans on going back for a girls lunch out and made certain to grab their takeout menu. A plus was lots of parking. read more

This place was such a welcome stop on our road trip up the coast. Our trip had been filled with somewhat lackluster food until this point but we really had such a lovely meal here. We are from Houston as well so are no strangers to good Asian food, though admittedly neither of us had ever tried Cambodian cuisine before. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is clean and tastefully decorated. Service was quick and friendly. The food was full of flavor and fresh veggies. We got the lemongrass stir fry with chicken and the red curry noodle with chicken. Both were delicious but the lemongrass stir fry was definitely our favorite of the two. I don't know if we will be back in this part of the country any time soon but if we are we will definitely come back to Annie's. (Another minor note: I noticed one reviewer mention they didn't have a bathroom? Not sure if that used to be the case but there is definitely a bathroom for customers now. Just ask your server for the code). read more

I really do love this restaurant. My family and I eat here twice a month when we desire a night out. However my last experience really sucked. We ordered all my favorites. Cheese puffs, eggrolls, pineapple fried rice. As well as many other delightful items we were accustomed too. Unfortunately we desired to try something new. So we excitedly ordered the sweet and sour tilapia. After informing our waiter of our recent trip to Cambodia he assured us we would absolutely love it. Telling us how wonderful it was to pick delicious meat right from the bones. All the flavor from the skin and how the fish was served on a fresh bed of lettuce. Well after waiting 20 min after all our other food was served the fish finally came out. Anxiously awaiting our fresh fried fish we did not want to complain about how long it had taken. Well the fish was terrible. We asked where the head was and were informed that the fish was kept frozen until somebody ordered it and that the head was always removed before serving. Then it is placed in a microwave to be unfrozen and then placed in a fryer. We were disappointed because having eaten whole fish before, the head and cheek meat are some of the best parts. We tasted the fish and it was sickening. The whole plate of food just sat there with nobody touching it. We informed the waiter how terrible it was with not much response. And yes we were still charged for it. read more

we have been to Annie's three times in the last year and had bad experiences each time with service and ambience and we will never return even though the food is good enough. the first time we ate there, the TV that dominates the dining room was on way too loud and we could hardly hear ourselves talk over the din. the second time we decided we did not want to deal with an obtrusive TV again so we ordered takeout. they told us what time our food would be ready but they lied. we sat at the counter waiting for our order for 20 minutes, all the time facing that loud obnoxious TV. we tried once more with takeout and i called an hour before we wanted to eat. they assured me i was giving them plenty of time. when i arrived at the time we agreed upon, they told me it would just be a few more minute. i sat waiting for 25 minutes, almost an hour and a half after placing my order. they need more cooks in the kitchen if they can't get the food out when they promise it. but i don't really care if they do cause i am never going back there again read more

I will always recommend Annie's! Love the wrapped shrimp and ground pork spring rolls. The family is local and so dedicated to the community and deserves to be patronized , not just because of that, but because of the incredible food they're serving! read more

The new restaurant space is gorgeous! It transports you to another world and the food is always spectacular! The only thing I wish they would do is add more veggies to some of their dishes. Pad Thai only had like cabbage and onion... I kind of expect a little more veg in there like carrot or bean sprouts. But overall, the flavors are so rich and yummy, the service is always great. It's one of my family's favorites for a vegan/vegetarian meal. read more

Food: I ordered a hot pot. I love the rich broth based soups and have had this here once before. It was delicious. Now: terrible (and overpriced). The broth and therefore everything else cooked in the broth was sweet, sweet, sweet. I don't like sweets. At all. After tasting the dish, I could not eat it. Menu did not mention it was a sweet dish. Service: Generally the service is excellent. We have been here many times. BUT...after telling one of the servers and then our head server about out problem with the dish, they apologized. They did not offer to take it back or not charge us for the dish that was unliked and unwanted. After decades of eating at restaurants, I rarely have complained about a dish and almost never have refused to eat it. I have always been offered a refund or substitution. Not at Annie's. We felt ridiculously offended. I generally like their good and service but we may not go back because of the lack of consideration of this specific situation. read more
