The most UNPROFESSIONAL "establishment" I've ever been in. I work for door dash and I came in to pick up an order, that had many boxes as it was many items. Instructions say to bring in hot bag, which I did, like I always do. Normally I put in the food immediately (if there's a space to do so) UNLESS the order is big (as it was, and I need to put it in carefully and make sure it will fit) and in those instances I put the food in my hot bag when I get to my car- which is literally in the parking lot. As I'm trying to rush out of there to do so, and bring my customer their food, "Annie" stops me - in front of everyone, and aggressively comes at me saying rude, snide remarks," this bag isn't just for show. You need to put the food in there now." And as I'm trying to POLITELY explain (which I don't need to explain my job or our company rules to her) that it's a big bag and I will do so when I can actually sit down and get to my car- she (and I repeat) AGGRESSIVELY snatches the food from my hands and tries shoving it in the bag, making more nasty remarks. I tried calling afterwards to speak to a manager and let them know my experience- and they said she's the owner so there's "nothing they can do." Personally, If I owned a business, I would go above and BEYOND to not only be nice to my customers, but the third party delivery services that are there to pick up. Knowing you have so many door dashers- maybe you should set up a designated area WITH ROOM to put the food in the bag- or seats next to it. All there was was a table that says " pick up here," with bags all over it so no one can put the food in their hot bag. Run your business better. Not only will I NEVER accept orders from here again, but I will NEVER spend a dime at your restaurant, and I will be telling all my friends and family of this rude experience, as well as contacting door dash to let them know how your business is ran and that the owner thinks it's ok to try and harass and assault someone picking up food. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

Seriously the best breakfast I have ever had! We sat out front and the servers were super attentive and on it. I ordered the fruit pancakes with fresh strawberries and guess what?... they were fresh!!!! The pancakes were out of this world. We have ate here 4-5 times in the last two months and can say that their service and food is top notch and very consistent! We love love love breakfast and Annie's cafe never fails us! How can it with the dancing, the fun hats, and most importantly, the food. Our 12 year old loves chocolate pancakes and can usually finish both pancakes because they are that good! I usually get the eggs benedict and the eggs are always cooked perfect and the hollandaise isn't chunky. My husband has ordered the Annie's biscuit special, and that is a real big hit with us as well! The sausage gravy is so so so good! Even with a wait out the door, we have never waited more than 25 minutes to be seated. We thoroughly enjoy Annie's and will come here often for some down right, good food! read more

What can I say? A lot. You WILL NOT find any more friendly restaurant in the Temecula area. Period. Excellent value for great "homemade" meals spanning American and British favorites (breakfast, lunch and early dinner). They open early everyday at 6:00 am and close at 3:00 pm 7 days per week. Always freshly prepared and delicious! For fish and chips (British style - authentic!) or a Monte Cristo sandwich, both my personal favorites, you won't find any better in the entire valley. Whatever you're craving, Annie and her outstanding team will serve it up with extra helpings of friendliness and thoughtful attention. Why so consistently delicious food with exceptional customer service? Because Annie herself is hands-on working side-by-side with her amazingly conscientious team of servers and cooking and busing staff. The people are lovely, the atmosphere is lovely, but in my opinion, the food wasn't. My mom adores this place, says their omelettes are to die for, but I've had their pancakes, waffles, and french toast, and they were all very bland and underwhelming. I did also have a BLT and a chicken sandwich and those were considerably better, but still nothing amazing. If you're like me and have the tastebuds of a child, skip this one. Also they dance to the music sometimes, as a group, at the front of the restaurant. Not a fan of that either, it's gimmicky and disruptive. read more

This is our new go to place for breakfast in Temecula. Easy to get to, menu was unique and varied, staff friendly, and portions were plentiful. Of course the best part, food was great. What really sold us was my wife who is Celliac must only eat gluten free food or she will get sick. Annies accommodated us by offering not only gluten free bread, but gluten free pancakes as well. This is very rare. For some reason the servers also are known to break out into spontaneous dance moves. read more

Had to go in for blood work at kaiser 2/20/20. Had been fasting all day, so I really neede to eat. We saw Annies Cafe as we were leaving Kaiser and decided to stop in. We were really glad we did. Love the english phone both outside! And inside the murals on the walls are beautiful. Nice and clean cafe. We were welcomed and told to sit anywhere. We got there just before they were about to close. Addy, our server was wonderful. She even spent a little time answering our questions and giving us a little history on the place. I had the country fried steak and eggs with the BEST Caramel Latte I have ever had. My husband ordered the fish and chips with mashed peas. Both meals were very good. They make their own tarter sauce as well. The fish was cooked perfect, along with everything else. It was a really great experience and we will definitely go back again. Anne's in Lake Elsinore has good food no doubt. My only grip is the attire some of the girls wear. I do not like to see spaghetti strap shirts and there arm pits exposed and things bouncing around if you know what I mean. I consider this a family place to eat with home cooking and not hooters. The food is excellent! A mix between american and british cuisine. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Its not uncommon to see the owner rushing around helping her staff or stopping by every table just to see how everyone is doing. Its great to see all the staff dancing, singing and just generally having fun at work. Around christmas time, they offer letters to santa for your little ones. If you write a letter, drop it in their north pole mail box, a week later your child will have a response letter from santa. Its great! My son absolutely loves it. read more

Visited Annie's for the first time for a late lunch. Lots of choices, large portions, good food and great service. I had fish n chips and side salad. Fish was excellent. My only personal issue was that the chips were limp and not crisp at all which was a disappointment. I will be definitely be back but with a special request for crisp chips. Try Annie's!! read more

So many grumpy people writing ridiculous reviews about the fun, upbeat atmosphere of this restaurant. My friends and I went today and we DID announce it was our first time, not knowing what that meant. Well, we did as told and we brought so many smiles to so many people today. And they kept coming to our table to say that we made their day. So to the other visitors who are not amused by this type of fanfare, don't eat here. Go to your regular diner chains. If you're looking for breakfast the old fashioned way, plus some entertainment, this is a "must visit" place! Our daughter had been here several times and raved about the place. So yesterday we all (party of six total) showed up about 9am. The place was packed, but we didn't have to wait to get seated. A good sign this was going to be a great experience. First the entertainment aspect. "Annie" the owner (I don't know her real name) was there and joined the waitresses and waiters several times in spontaneous dancing in the aisles. Great fun! If it's your first visit they give you a funny hat to wear. More fun! And of course if it's your birthday you'll get the royal treatment. This isn't the place to go if you looking to hide. Now about the food. It takes longer to get (this is NOT Denny's) because it's all cooked to order and not scooped out of a warming dish. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and biscuits with gravy. Eggs were done perfectly -- not runny but not rock hard either. The bacon is nice and thick, and just on the crispy side (not like that skinny undercooked stuff you get other places). Ditto on the hash browns, which are nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The biscuits and gravy were great too. Home cooking at it's best. Other members of the party had waffles, omelets, pancakes and more. Everyone said it was the best place in town! "Annie" came by our table a couple of times. A real fire-ball of an English lady. We have been going to Annie's for years and loved the breakfasts AND the entertainment with the waitresses. It was fun, decent food, good energy, and great waitresses: they were very sweet, looked you in the eyes, and came by often to see if you needed anything. I even bought a t-shirt there, and always told people how "fun" Annie's was. This Sunday we went in, and it was very crowded, so I usually give people breaks for taking a while, but geez, we could have gone to iHop and it would have been 100% better on their worse day. The restaurant I used to love so much became the one of the worse experiences in a long time with restaurants! We got seated, and waited, and waited, and waited.....and in the meantime, the waitresses did a little "song and dance" but seemed like they definitely didn't want to be up there. We finally had someone come by when we were about to walk out. The waitress was extremely short with us and had a scowl on her face. (Unless we looked directly at her) Then she smiled a most fake smile. I am not exaggerating! She took our drink order & we waited, and waited, and waited.... Finally got our coffee and waters. She took our orders with little patience. Then we waited again. No apologies, nothing. She brought our food and asked "Can you take this?" (Our plates!) Wow. The food was not that good. My grandson couldn't even eat his sandwich it was so bad. We left feeling not just disappointed, but I felt sad that it went from being a fun/great experience, to a very negative atmosphere, Terrible service, and for the price, not good food!
