Been here several times before wiring this review just to be certain. 5 stars every time. Food is great, prices are great, service is outstanding and on top of it Annie has created an entertaining environment. A must do for breakfast on any lazy day. One thing done right that many places miss is they hire the right people. Did I mention random singing and dancing. read more

I am so sad to write this review, we were so excited to try this newer highly rated locally owned restaurant in town and just walked out having a horrible experience. Dan was our server and hardly checked on us after checking all of the other tables in our area several times. We were short a table setting and my poor husband waited until his food was cold before getting a fork! We ate our entire meal with empty coffee & water cups. My husband got the Winston Churchill, I got the country fried steak & my son got pancakes. The food was ok, the restaurant it self was clean & new looking and they tried to have a fun & happy atmosphere. The servers, the hosts & the owners took turns dancing but frankly it was a packed house with a Saturday morning rush, had my server paid more attention to his customers rather than entertainment I think we would have enjoyed our dining experience more & the restaurant would have gotten a better review. When the girl checking us out at the front closed out my bill asked how it was, I told her it was my first time and I did not have a good experience. She then preceded to awkwardly wait for the tip & didn't even try to apologize, ask what had happened or ever try to remediate the situation. I hope that this was an isolated incident because I would like to see more mom and pop restaurants survive the Temecula market. Tip: we got the "fried bread" advice = don't do it! It was literally deep fried toast bread that was dripping in stale oil. I was so excited to try it after seeing pictures of it on another yelp review, it was a good idea but our batch was terrible :-( read more

From the coat of arms, to the bagpipes on the wall. From clapping for some out of town travelers to dancing waiters. This place has personality. They were packed when I arrived and yet it still felt like the staff had everything under control. The menu was refreshingly expansive with an alcohol option for you early morning drinkers. Enjoyed every moment and every bite from beginning to end. read more

We eat here often and love it! Great service, fair prices, consistently tasty food, and a fun atmosphere! This is definitely my family's favorite local breakfast place!! The chocolate muffins are delish, by the way read more

Food was alright. The service sucked. All the servers weren't in a great mood. All snooty and the vibe is horrible. They don't make you feel welcomed, that's for sure. Sucks to see good places going bad. read more

What a great surprise! Great food and great service!! Loved, loved!!! don't miss out on this place.. Thanks to Annie and the crew! read more

We had a wonderful meal at Annies. They have a typical English Breakfast mixed grill that you hear about. It is called the Winston Churchill. It has English bacon and Bangers, hash browns, grilled tomato and mushrooms, eggs any style and of course Heinz baked beans. It is a fun place especially when the wait staff goes into a dance sorta flash mob style. Well worth the trip. read more

Not a big WOW here. Food is food whether it's from Sysco or US Foods. What matters is presentation, service and ambiance. Meal presentation was okay, it's a cafe. Ambiance was special for the theme, nice dance routines, not sure about putting on hats that others have worn........"Can I borrow your comb"......here use my fork after I've used it...get the message? Service, not that's what could make and break a place. Went today, 9 am, wait time good, hostess good presentation, but misspelled name which meant mis-pronounced......N O T S O came out as ROCKWELL, no wonder no one showed up when she called it out.....Maybe I should have stated my name in Spanish? Seated promptly, male waiter came promptly, menus delivered, asked for coffee and delivered. Order given and coffee was empty. Waiter came by to serve other tables, looked at empty coffee cups....came by again and partner noticed he looked again at empty coffee cups, still no refill....zzzzzzz. I noticed the 2 (two) hostesses up front the whole time, chatting and drinking, not really doing anything but waiting for customers to arrive or leave. Seems like maybe ONE of them could have walked the cafe and poured coffee. Carol came out and delivered the meals, and I asked "why no one refills the coffee"? Why can't one of the 2 hostesses fill coffee? Carol made an excuse for them, it take 2 of them to watch the door.....really.... Carol came back and refilled the coffee. Then we noticed other waitresses and the hostess were refilling the coffee for the other customers.....And Carol was pouring coffee too.... Carol, coffee is cheap, you get a lot of cups per pound of coffee, and at $2.50 per cup it's a gross $$ maker. If you have to, pay someone minimum wage just to pour coffee on weekends....but it comes down to service. The waiter WAS PROMPT in delivering the bill as we were still eating the breakfast.....hmm...sends a message as "get out of here, we want to flip the table".... BTW, AMEX not accepted, this is Temecula, with a Costco nearby, everyone has an AMEX card, and Annie's serves beer/wine....another $$ maker??? Can't afford the fee for AMEX? Waitresses and waiters in Texas get $2.30 an hour and EARN their tips........service is big!! Maybe Elsinore is better. The original owners have more pride in their location.. This place might be good on a weekday in between meal periods. Bottom line....NO BIG WOW, It's not Ghetto, just average...too bad could be better. read more

I almost gave this place 4 stars and I'll tell ya why, but first let me say what a fun place this is, I live far away and I have been to both of their locations. Food is always perfect, people are friendly and willing to make you happy, and I love the look. Now the almost 4 stars was only because last time I was in their they do this fun thing where they play music and dance, but the song was Blurred Lines. Im sure one of the young workers put this on, but I was with my family and it was quit embarrassing, we all stopped our conversation and looked at each other in disbelief. So if the owner is reading this, its pry best not to have a song about rape in a family place ;) Again, I gave 5 stars because I did not want your rating to go down, but the message needs to get across. ~Cheers Mates' read more

Well my 3rd time and not to excited... $18 for coffee, side bacon and country skillet. First for $10 the skillet is not what you get size wise like Denny's, but was a very small skillet like a #3... Which iron skillet was cold so you can imagine what it did to the food, the sourdough toast had enough butter that it created a small puddle on base of paper in basket. The taste was bland, the chicken chunks were not seasoned at all, I should of picked the chicken fried steak like the first time. My 1st coffee luke warm.... Then had no coffee or offered any, a new customer sat close to me at bar and he was offered so much coffee I was like "I'm not that hard to spot (big guy here)" and same waitress. Young lady (Ashley) finally offered me coffee and then handed the bill...guess that was my que... Bacon was good, I know we all have our off days but was not my best service here. My waitress was Gone after she took order/dropped food off didn't see her again or offered anything. Normally if theirs a change you get told and introduced new waitress. The other gentlemen next to me coffee refills from the older lady and ice cold water to YUM! I'm 2 for 1 here now, I'll give another attempt with family but much later now I think. My suggestion, someone coming by to check on tables and service. Thank you... read more

Great atmosphere. Natalia, our waitress was enthusiastic and fun and she made this dining experience great! Food was fantastic too!

Huge portions, friendly atmosphere and our waiter Daniel was terrific. Has a great reputation and now I know why.

I am a English mutt. So I was pretty happy to check it out. The food, coffee and tea where all excellent. We will go back, but. Here is why they didn't get a five. Our bill was $40.86. I was so pleased with our meal that i ordered a Blueberry muffin to go. The cashier says okay $56.00 I am like how much is a muffin?? Annie the owner comes over and apologizes. She adjusted the bill and walks away. Now the cashier says $52.00. I went online and looked the muffin is $3.39! Not $11.00. I just paid the bill and left also I still left a good tip on top of that. Usually i just wouldn't go back. read more

Fantastic breakfast! We stayed at La Quinta hotel, across the street and were supposed to have breakfast included in our room rate but when we were handed a brown paper sack with only a gas station danish, granola bar and a mini fruit cup and a bottle of water, we decided to venture out to get a decent breakfast. Annie's Cafe was a great choice. They were pleasant and quick with our order and the food was delicious!! read more

Came out to Temecula for my birthday and wanted to end the weekend festivities with a nice brunch. After a quick search, Annie's caught my eye with the feature picture of a mimosa flight. It seemed cool and most of the reviews were positive. Unfortunately, I didn't quite get the 5 star experience. After being seated it took 10min for someone to come take our drink orders, followed by a 15min wait to get the drinks. Some of the drinks were wrong, but we didn't want to wait for them to be swapped out. My mimosa flight included the Apple Pie, Cotton Candy, Lavender, and Sunrise (which was supposed to be the Mojito). Holy diabetes they were so sugary! I shouldn't have been too surprised considering the names but they were almost undrinkable. Food also took a while to arrive and was on par with an IHop. Seated in the back corner, I started to feel like a red headed stepchild as we seemed to rarely see any servers. Not a bad place if everywhere else is booked and you don't feel like cooking or drive thru. read more

We have hosted holiday breakfasts here for years. Everyone at the restaurant goes out of their way to make your good and entertainment enjoyable. Lots of fun decor here too! Highly recommend Annie's. read more

This is a good place to grab a bite to eat. Food is about average, but staff is very friendly. They sing and dance for birthdays and special occasions. Corned beef hash was good. Love the iced tea. In the city of Temecula there are so many breakfast options that are better as far as food goes, but everyone should try this place at least once. read more

My family loves this place we have dined here many more times than the amount we checked in. The food is always good, never a disappointing meal. I always stick to a few of my favorites, while my husband jumps all over the menu. My daughter especially loves their waffles and the good looking young men that work there. (She has never turned down a trip to Annies). They do this weird thing if your a first timer at Annie's. The will embarrass the crap out of you. You have to put on some funky ass hat, and they sing to you. I knew this before ever going to Annie's so I never submitted to this type of torture. But it is funny as shit to just watch those newcomers squirm in their seat. I've been back to Annie's time and time again The food here is memorable along with the funny staff. read more

What a great place! Portions are huge. Fish and chips, I could only finish have of it. I made the mistake and ordered 2 fish sticks instead of just one. One is plenty. And they have a lot of fun there with their customers. It's tacky and funny say. The same time. read more

Good food and their home fries are delish ! Friendly servers and we got to see one of their dances.

My go to breakfast spot food is always fresh and extremely delicious. The menu selection is great and you can mix up your sides

Fantastic food, an extensive menu and significant portions. Also, exception service. We had four different enthusiastic people help us in the course of an hour, so you really get a sense that customer service is a team effort. I had the eggs Benedict which were cooked perfectly. Several of us had Bloody Mary's and enjoyed the extra slice of bacon they used as a garnish. Try the Dave's Melt. Very tasty. read more

We visited Annie's because a certain Instagram account is continuously posting about it, and they have a really cute photo opportunity out front (a big red phone booth), but we weren't impressed. My kids ordered the chicken tenders and I ordered the chicken tacos, which were just chicken tenders cut up and put into corn tortillas. They were very dry as they didn't come with salsa or sour cream, and had little flavor. We had high expectations for this spot and plan to give it another go for breakfast. The menu offers lots of coffee drinks and shakes but we weren't in the mood during lunch time. read more

Annie's is a great breakfast spot. I ordered pancakes, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. The pancake was large (it filled the plate). I had to add a lot of salt on the potatoes (I like my food very seasoned). The prices were inexpensive and they had great customer service. They even did a little Christmas dance for the customers which was very cute. All and all this restaurant gets 4 stars. read more

I'll give this place a 4 star because of the service and entertainment. The birthday song was great and they do little musicals now and then. As for the food I would rate 3 stars, it wasn't all that I expected and was decent. The only thing I liked was the waffle, so at least try that, I would probably guess the pancakes are just as good. read more

First time trying this place out. I can only judge by the one dish I tried (spinach, mushroom omelette with Swiss cheese) it was honestly very mediocre. I've gone to other places like Mo's egg house, broken yolk, original pancake house and the portions were pretty small in comparison. The service was great. The entertainment was different (servers dancing), the ambiance was very old diner-esque. I'd say I'd like to go back to try other dishes but first impression is a big deal. I heard good things about them so I was kind of bummed it was just "ok" for me. read more
