Disappointing, booth was filthy sat down and watched 3 other tables that were seated after us get service before us, we ended up leaving. We haven't been to Annie's in almost 2 years since moving out of state, we were always loyal customers. Looks like things have changed. read more

The food at Annie's Cafe is always fresh and very delicious. I love their wide choice of items but my favorite is biscuits and gravy. The staff is always friendly even when they're busy and the place does get busy! We love that the staff dances and puts on a little show once in awhile, it's such a fun atmosphere and good time. read more

This place is so welcoming, warm atmosphere and amazing service. The people that work here actually care and show compassion for the customers. As well as the owner! She is so kind hearted to everyone. Food was also very enjoyable and delicious. They danced to Christmas music while we ate. Enjoyable & entertaining.! read more

I went here for brunch with my friend earlier today and liked it quite a bit. Our waitress was very friendly and personable despite having a lot to juggle (it was pretty busy when we went). I ordered a banana milkshake which tasted pretty delicious as well as the Even Wilder. I wasn't a big fan of the house fries though. They weren't really fries at all, more like cubed potatoes that have been fried. I mean you think about it, it doesn't really matter what shape the potatoes are cut in, but it did have me a little taken back. The rest of the Even Wilder was okay. Two eggs, some bacon/sausage, and a couple of pancakes. The pancakes were sized pretty generously. I almost got filled up on those alone, so there's that. I also ordered a "mojito", which was actually a mimosa made with a lime and champagne. It wasn't bad, but I was pretty confused when ordering it since it wasn't really a mojito as I've always known it. Thankfully, our waitress let me order something else to replace my drink, so I went with an iced Irish coffee, which was pretty tasty. All in all, Annie's Cafe was an enjoyable place to go eat. The service was very friendly and they got us seated fairly quick despite appearing rather busy. The food was alright, but it doesn't have to be anything extraordinary. It's a nice place to eat with your family or friends and have a good time, which I did. read more

Fine food. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. A must try try at least once see if the vibe is for your tribe

Nice atmosphere and staff so attentive. Food is very good and great selection off of a large menu! Omelet was very good as were the hash browns. We selected the biscuits which were so good and fresh. A bit pricey but worth the trip read more

While I can agree with the other reviewers that the décor is charming, that's where my agreement with them ends. While this is presented as a "British" café, it's just a café that happens to have some British-themed items on the menu and in their small lobby "gift shop". We went in on a Friday morning, and the place was nearly full (which is good). We were seated by a man who appeared to the floor manager but didn't make eye contact with us once, instead loudly calling to a busboy and people in the kitchen in Spanish. After we were seated, we gave our order which was simple: I had a veggie omelet and my wife had potatoes/bacon/eggs. The vegetables were barely cooked, the omelet was very bland (thank goodness for Tapatío), and her small helping of potatoes had nearly as much barely-cooked onion in it as potatoes. The biscuits were very greasy, a small glass of orange juice was over $5, and the waitress only returned to our table to let us know she was going on her break (which she took with the floor manager just a few tables away from us). I'm not telling them how to cook a meal, but we didn't feel like guests that they were trying to impress, we were just customers that they were trying to be done with. read more

Today was our first time coming here and boy, it did not disappoint. We were almost immediately sat down! Their social distancing tables are very well put out. The customer service absolutely was spot on. They're so friendly and upbeat! And the food? Man. So many options to choose from. My husband has never had a proper English breakfast so he opted for the Winston Churchill and let me tell you: he was stuffed! Hobo skillet was just full of flavor! Ambiance is so warm and welcoming. It really makes you feel at home! We are definitely coming back! read more

If you are looking for a scrumptious, comfort style, diner meals, with a blend of entertainment, then come to Annie's Cafe. Formerly Bob's Big Boy's home, Annie's has become a favorite spot for breakfast and lunch with the original Annie's still operating in Lake Elsinore since 1989. It's a Saturday, St. Patrick's Day morning and at 11:00 a.m., it was still overflowing with the breakfast crowd. The lunch crowd was starting to form to get a taste of Annie's tasty corned beef and cabbage. A once a year treat, Annie's serves up well prepared corned beef that is savory and soft, with splendid seasonings. The cabbage, carrots and potatoes all cooked well, and includes a side of gravy. For me, the dish was superb as it was, there was no need for a gravy train. I also got to sample a taste of Annie's breakfast offerings. Annie's Biscuit Special comes with two scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits drenched in thick, country gravy and your choice of home fries or hash browns. The sirloin steak and eggs was also another enjoyable dish, but let's not forget the unicorn hot chocolate! Not only did it look colorful and adorable, it tasted absolutely delightful and not at all sweet. If this is your first time dining at Annie's, you will be offered to wear an extravagant, yet fun hat. Don't remove the hat, or you will have to do the dance with the servers when it's performance time. ;) Every 30 minutes or so, the servers will line up in front of the bar area and will perform a short, river dance style routine for you to enjoy. Join in on the fun. Smile, take a load off and clap your hands as if you just won a spot at the Price is Right show, for only at Annie's will you get such a refreshing and unique treat. read more

The services was terrible. We were skipped over and people that came in behind us were served before us. When the food finally arrived it was cold. We've been coming to Annie's for 10+years! How incredibly sad & disappointed!!!!! First you tell us to download a menu to see what's available. Once we do that, I begin to order & they tell me what I ordered does NOT come with toast/biscuit even though it states that it does come with it. Ok, fine... I guess I'll pay for it, even tho I believe they should cover the cost due to their misprint. But, fine, it's toast, not a huge deal. May I also add, We didn't get a waitress for over 10 minutes, first thing out of her mouth was has anyone even helped you guys or even taken a drink order yet? After we placed our order they finally brought us our food and it was COLD!!!!! we were starving, so we decided to eat it anyways. We stopped another waitress to order that toast, in the meantime I switched to the "chocolate chip pancakes" also paid extra for the chips. The pancakes were soooo rubbery and hard to cut with a knife. It's not steak!!! After 15 minutes they tell us our toast should be up shortly. I told the waitress, (not the one that took our order, she had not checked on us once) that our food was now extremely cold just waiting for the toast and my pancakes were rubbery and why was all the chocolate chips just in the middle of a pancake? She got the original waitress once I explained to her what the issue was, she stopped me before I could even fully explain and she said let me get you a manager. An assistant manager arrived and was very apologetic and said, I believe you guys have been here longer than I even started my shift and I begin to tell her yes, we were put in the corner andforgotten. She apologized again, mind you the only one that has apologized out of everybody that has helped us and she said let me get the owner to come and talk to you guys. The owner came out and said OK what's the problem we begin to barely tell her what the issue was and she says " "OK,I'll fix this", grabbed the plates, "I'm taking this off the bill", and walked away. She seemed pissed off at US!!!!??? Not, I am sorry for the horrible service, not, I'm sorry for the cold and rubbery food... nothing!! This is the Owner? How unprofessional and completely RUDE! Maybe if they had honored the damn toast in the first place, we wouldn't have had to wait so long, but, even so, the food came out cold and the pancakes were so gross! I need to add, The bus boy came up to us to check on us, in the middle of all this, maybe he saw that we were being ignored? Anyhow, I'm sure they won't care, but, I will not be stepping in that Annie's cafe ever again!! Jannie Annie V. That's an apology? Lady you are so wrong!! We were NEVER offered the toast, I stopped a waitress to order it, after our food arrived COLD! If it was offered wouldn't it have came with the meal? Plus, why does toast take over 15 minutes? You did not "thank us for finding the flaw" you did not apologize for any inconvenience or offer food replacement, your contact with us was less the 30 seconds, YOU Were aggravated and aggressively grabbed the plates from our table. The assistant manager handled things better than you did, maybe for the future occurrences you should allow her to take over. We never even asked for a manager, we never asked for free food. Other than the assistant manager shes the only one that really heard us, and seemed sincere. Also, you stated we ate most of the food???? Do you see my pancake picture, does that look mostly eaten?? You took 90% of the food back... why would I want to eat toast with pancakes and French toast? Which you stated in your "apology". Again, you put zero thought in this, you think people are dumb and forget that usually people eat toast or biscuit with their breakfast food. If you think we were wanting to eat pancakes and French toast WITH toast you are again sadly mistaken!!! We ordered eggs hash brown and sausage, what we wanted the toast for. Lady, you're inconsiderate and give your self way too much credit!! For future problems, take the time to actually listen to your customers and take responsibility for it. Now, I will add this on other social media outlooks so people can see how you really are. I feel horrible for your employees, you must be a delight to work for, eek!! I will be adding a picture of the food we ordered that was suppose to come with toast. Since you are so completely lost! The crazy thing is you are probably thinking this is about some dumb ol' toast. You failed to mention the cold food or gross pancakes. You offered us NOTHING, you were and are a rude witch!! Hope no one experiences what we did. read more

Very fun place, friendly service and positive atmosphere. The food is delicious as well.

Just had breakfast with my family. Food was good enough--the Winston Churchill was cool to see since you can't find a full English in most cafes--however, the surly waitress (brunette, heart-shaped ear gages) seemed to be having a bad day, and eventually just abandoned our table. We were later told she went on break, but no one else seemed to pick up her slack. Eventually a nice server from another section could tell we'd been waiting for our check for 20-30 mins and had mercy on us. As we were leaving I saw our original server outside eating french fries and smoking. I get that people need breaks but to just ghost us? Everyone has off days, but that crosses into rude. I never tip below 15% because I don't want to punish everyone else she tips out, but I was tempted. Honestly bummed because it soured the experience. Unlikely to return. read more

Annie's is the best English greasy spoon in the Temecula area. Good coffee, dancin (yes dancin), good food and great service. I like the country fried steak and eggs. I don't understand how someone could be so rude, including the manager. All I was trying to do was my job. I have never had to pick up an order with a door dash bag. The server at the time, with the piercing on her lip, was beyond rude. I have picked up from this cafe more than once and have never been treated like this. I called customer service and they said a doordash bag is optional. But, being rude to someone just trying to do their job, is ridiculous. Please get better customer service. read more

Such a cute little find in Temecula! I was happy to drive up early on a Sunday morning to have a long overdue breakfast with a dear friend. When she suggested this place, I was all in! Annie's is easily accessible from the 15 freeway. Their menu is lovely. Breakfast/brunch/lunch option. If you don't like extra attention, don't tell them it's your birthday or your first time there. If you do, prepare for songs and hats! We were quickly seated even with a waiting line. Party of 2 pays off! Our server was quick to take our drink order and let us chat for a good long time before asking us if we were ready to order. Thanks! I appreciate that. Orders are taken on an ipad (or something similar) so there's no lag time between servers and cooks. Talk about efficiency! I ordered their hobo skillet. It's a little bit of everything- eggs, sausage, cheese, bacon, potatoes, and it comes with toast. Bring on the sourdough! My portion was huge! I started slowing down about half way in. Coffee was delicious and they were certainly eager to keep refilling my mug. But listen, trust me on this...no one wants to see me on several cups of fully caffeinated coffee. It's not pretty. My friend's breakfast came with biscuits and gravy. I had to try it. The biscuits were delicious. Light and airy. Fluffy. Just how a biscuit should me. If you like a dry biscuit..well, hate to say it. That's just wrong! There's singing and dancing on the hour. I'm sure some people don't like it, but it's seriously adorable. Don't miss it. If you've been to England like I have, you will appreciate all the English decor. All they need is some good Tetley English Ale and some drunk English lad asking me to snog..brings back such fond memories! I'll be back! Cheers! read more

Don't miss those sausages! These are legit snappy skinned English bangers, supremely delicious. Their bacon was also some of the crispiest I've encountered, so kudos for that! Their gluten free pancakes were also magnificent, you can't even tel they're gluten free. Fluffy and huge. Love the decor, lots of English curiosities. There are plexiglass dividers between each booth, too, so it felt a bit safer. read more

This morning we had the pleasure of having breakfast at Annie's Café! What a gem in the middle of Temecula! It is an English café owned by a British gal by the name of Annie. And I'm happy to say that Annie knows her food! My husband and I shared a breakfast burrito that was absolutely huge & we were happy to have shared it as there is no way we would've been able to eat the whole thing. Soooooo delicious!! I would have taken a picture of the beautiful burrito that was served to us but...too late... Gone! Our server, Sami, was so nice to us! She was attentive, courteous, and pleasant! There is even a spot in the restaurant for a small gift shop. And since my name is Ann I just had to get one of the mugs that was for sale at a totally reasonable price! As far as the pictures I posted... It shows a little bit of the vibe of Annie's Cafe. And... The picture of the countryside is not the location of Annie's,...it is a mural that is on the wall of the café! Delightful! I'm going to give this place our usual recommendation when we find a five star location... 4 thumbs up... 2 from me and 2 from my husband! read more
