3 stars due to customer service from our first Server. Her lack of friendliness, eye contact, vibe that she was bothered was a turn off. We learned why she was sour. She took her break right behind us and said, My PMS just took over the show." LOL! Still no pass for you. Sucks to be on the receiving end of that. First time here so here are my first impressions! This looks like a diner that attracts all the locals so that's a good sign. I came in on a Sunday morning and the wait time was about 40min. The restaurant inside isn't very big but they do offer outdoor dining. They have tents set up behind the restaurant for those interested in dining outdoors. Food is really good. My favorite was their Deep Fried Monte Cristo. Very unique and absolutely delicious! Servers here all all very friendly. The restaurant has a very upbeat and fun environment. During my 45min meal here, I sat through 4 songs where the servers stand in the aisles and start dancing to a song. It was almost too much. Keep in mind that this dining environment may not be for everyone. If you're looking to have a peaceful and undisturbed brunch, this isn't your place. Went to Annie's Café for the first time today. I always saw that this place has a line to get in so I figured it would be good. I tried the lunch there cause it was around lunchtime. I got a club sandwich with fries and an iced tea, my wife got chicken fingers with fries, which they gave her no dipping sauce for the chicken fingers. The food was very bland no flavor. The club sandwich had very little turkey and mostly iceberg lettuce. They did a cute little happy birthday song for someone and also a Christmas song in front of everyone which was very enjoyable. We were surprised to find zero wait for our group of five (plus a pup) on a Saturday morning, especially after hearing estimates of over an hour from several nearby businesses. After calling, we showed up five minutes later and the waitress seated us immediately! Not only was the service speedy, but the food was also top notch, and incredibly affordable. I ordered the veggie omelette with added chicken, a side of potatoes, and sourdough toast. The perfect hangover meal. What makes Annie's Cafe different is their extensive menu of morning beverages. Annie's Cafe serves a variety of mimosas and specialty cocktails to start your morning off right. I ordered the Cotton Candy Mimosa out of curiosity, and was pleasantly surprised by its unique sweetness. This small British-themed restaurant houses a large tented outdoor patio that protects from both the sun and rain. The waitress, Sami, who was amazing, made a custom meal for him. He got cinnamon sugar French toast, bangers, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The French toast was the best we've EVER had! Did I say that Sami was amazing!? She got us a high chair for our baby girl right away when most places forget to get us a high chair even after we ask for it. She checked in on us and knew to come over just enough but not too much. I feel so horrible that we didn't have cash to give her a tip. Some awesome guys a couple booths down paid for our meal. We bought a tin sign to be able to give Sami a tip on our card but my fiancé gave her a tip on the price of the tin sign instead of the cost of the meal without thinking. My family and I came to this cafe for breakfast on New Year's Day. We were seated within 10 minutes . Out waitress was attentive and good explaining the different options they have for certain meals. Portion of the meals were huge and filled us up. Place was a little crowded but the good food made up for it. What a fun cafe!! Husband surprised me and said he wanted to take me out today but we needed to leave because they closed at 2pm. I wasn't sure what to think since he doesn't use yelp. When we arrived and parked I saw a group of people waiting outside (I was relieved because that was sign that it would be good if people were waiting) and was a bit worried that the wait would be long. However, owner Jan (Annie) greeted and seated us immediately as they had a table that just got done being cleaned for a table of 2. Our server and manager Emily was on it and got us drinks right away. We got waters and then ordered a classic mimosa (delicious with the added cherry juice it comes with) and mint and chip milkshake which she brought out immediately. Both very yummy. Everything looked so good on the menu that I didn't know what to order so of course I turn to Yelp for help. I always scroll through the photos to see what catches my eye that I'm in the mood for and saw a photo of the garden skillet with eggs sunny side up and thought that looks good and sounds healthy since it has the word garden in it lol I ordered the garden skillet, it comes with bell peppers, onion, mushroom and potatoes and scrambled egg. I added the chicken and eggs sunny side up. I was wondering why I didn't get charged for the eggs sunny side up and it's because they did that instead of the scrambled eggs. Wanted to try it with both scrambled and the sunny side up. But it's ok, it still tasted amazing without the scrambled eggs it usually comes with and with the eggs sunny side up. It came with toast too and all of it was very tasty. Husband ordered the chili which looked delicious in the skillet it came in, along with the sourdough bread. I was expecting just amazing food but this place is definitely an experience. While we were here the song Milkshake by Kelis played and Annie came out carrying milkshakes to deliver to a table. She sang and danced and told funny jokes. I love her humor. I'd come here just to hang out with her. The food and drinks are a bonus. Annie's cafe is doing something right as her employees are on it. Service is great and food came out pretty fast. Im certain this is going to be our new spot, I want to bring our kiddos to try the unicorn hot chocolate. One of their staff got on Google when I reviewed them and said that was not normal. I dont care if they say it is normal or not.
