Our waitress Candis provided excellent service and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the cheeseburger meal and that burger, as incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. I have lived in La Porte for many years, and I can't believe this was my first visit. I topped it off with the banana pudding, and it was absolutely on point! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

She was quick with our drinks and let us look at the menu for a few more minutes. Mom had the Green Tomato BLT, the Missus had the club sammich. But enough about their meals ... I want to review my meal. Their menu lists that the burger is on a brioche bun ... check that one off of the item list. A hearty patty is also placed inside of the bun and along with it are pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato. Check and double Check. Mayo is slathered on the buns, at just the right amounts that make it taste good, but not so much that it slides the innards of the burger all over the place making the chomping experience mushy. Flavors were good, I had just hoped the patty fit the bun a little better. The ratio was a bit more bun sided than oatty sided. My fries, crinkle cut, were seasoned well. Well enough that no ketchup was needed to dip them into for additional flavor. I would have liked a bit more crispiness from a double fry, but these were toothy enough to get a decent mouth feel. The meal for the three of is was about 47.00, so inflation has also hit my hometown dining places as bad as they have hit my current home near The Woodlands. Will i return to eat there the next time I visit Mom? If she wants to go, then yes, yes I would. I would also hit it alone just for their chicken fried steak or chicken. Ciao, Darrell

Was not busy on a Wednesday morning 11:30 AM popped in and was greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took our drink order on the spot. We kept this first visit pretty simple wife got a cheeseburger, plain and dry as she always does with a side order of tater tots. I went with the old-fashioned cheeseburger all the way and added bacon, and my side order was the thin onion rings. Everything came out fantastic and fast. The tater tots were cooked exactly like I like super crispy. I rarely eat tater tots out because not every restaurant cooks them properly. The thin onion rings were fantastic. Had a very nice little flavor to the batter came out hot and crisp. What I like the most about the burgers were the buns. Almost a buttery texture to them and they did not fall apart like you get on some burgers. The wife got a strawberry shake to go, and it was insanely rich. It was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back again soon to go a little deeper into the menu. I hear that their chili dog is fantastic. That's what I'm gonna try next week. This is a great little family owned restaurant in the Friendswood Webster area. It's a gem for sure.

My wife got her favorite, the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger. I got adventurous and chose the Razz Burger. Wow!!! I have never had a burger with this flavor profile. Razz Burger - Beef patty, topped with razzberry sauce, cream cheese, jalapeno slices, shredded lettuce and mayo. If you want a burger and you're feeling adventurous try them out. So many different options including Buffalo wings, salads, and several different options for sides. Oh! and the desserts are next level.

I won't be surprised to see JLB outgrow this location or expand into one of the larger spaces. The area is well organized and inviting. I got my food pretty quick considering every tabletop was full. They delivered my food to the table and called me by name. I really like their customer service. The food was very tasty and the serving size was more than enough. The fixins were fresh, crisp and quality- not an afterthought. I was pretty thirsty so the refills were a welcome bonus. The hamburger patty was huge and seasoned perfectly for my taste. As I think back on the meal as a whole I've got to say it was the best burger I've had in Baytown in a long time. Thanks Yelp for the suggestion and thanks JLB for putting together a memorable burger. I will be back this week! There are several more choices on the menu I've got to check out. I'll see you there

The burger came with lettuce tomatoes pickles and mayo, I asked for no onion. The burger was good, but not great. It was really big and I'm sure that would account for the clientele that were here when we got here, a lot of men, with Big appetites. I thought that the burger was a little on the dryer side. It didn't tase seasoned, unlike the fries, lol. For an $11 burger I would expect it to be juicy. The bun was one of those brioche buns, I am not a real fan of. My husband thought his was "really good". I'm sure he will do his own review.
