My cousin turns 21 today so I decided to order her a birthday cake from here. The Strawberry Champagne cake seemed perfect for the occasion. We were able to select a mix and match half dozen of their mostly local brews, which our lovely shopkeeper was able to put together with transferable can clips into one unit. There appears to be other things for sale in the way of snacks and light lunches, but we didn't pay much attention to them. We knew we would be stuffed with Maryland Blues, chowder and key lime pie that night and were saving our appetites until then. The great thing about this setup is you get to pick what YOU like. And there is a great variety to satisfy most sweet tooths! The price... it is what it is. While I won't say it's prohibitively expensive, it's not "in-expensive." They have a rewards program, though, and my kid did get a free rock candy stick because of it. Maybe not the best value, but I will say that a lot of their items are a bit boutique. That's not a complaint, just an observation. They also have a decent selection of unique and fun beverages, such as "Duff Beer" and Aggretsuko energy drinks. A variety of ramune "marble" beverages, too, flavors I'd never seen in person before! It's a nice sweet distraction or destination in the otherwise cookie cutter Mall. We love stopping in here every time we're in the vicinity. The selection is top notch. The flavors are unique. Vegan options are aplenty. During my visits I've had the vegan Black Cherry, Lemon Poppyseed and Mint Oreo but have sampled oodles of others. All have been creamy and flavorful. Service is always on point here. I've gotten the same service when it is just me and when I'm there with eight students, a handful of chaperones and only one employee. Scoopers have always taken the time to provide samples, answer questions and scoop ice cream. Annapolis Ice Cream stickers and merch are on point as well. So creative and fun. Annapolis Ice Cream is definitely not the cheapest in the city but it is by far my favorite.
