Everyone hates going to the dentist, but the vibe here is so welcoming, and the staff is so absurdly nice and good at their jobs, it makes an unpleasant visit as pleasant as possible. I've been going for years and there has never been one experience that wasn't top notch. Dr. Fine is personable, nice and conversational, and always checks up on you on a personal level every time you come in. The dental hygienists are efficient and kind. Vicki is fantastic and makes the time fly by. I cannot recommend this place enough. I sincerely can't imagine there is a better dental office in all of LA.

I am going to start my review with my recent visit that I had with Nancy on 11/24/25. She is the Dental Hygienist for check up, cleaning, and X-ray. Nancy is as sweet as cherry pie. Always kind, prompt, punctual, helpful and friendly. She takes her time to do her work and knows what she is doing. Dr. Vartan is ONE OF A KIND! He has this demeanor about him that is extremely contagious in the most electrifying and magnetic way. I mean this in a very good way. He is sharp, keen, kind, professional, sweet, helpful, welcoming... with a nice smile, has a light spirit and a fast hand. These are just half of the qualities that I need and want to mention. There is so much that you can write about this WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING and his profession. His work is undeniably unbelievable. He KNOWS HIS JOB VERY WELL!!!! He is super knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable from the time you sit/lay down on the exam chair until it's time to leave. He always checks on you to see if you have any discomfort or pain while my mouth is wide open:-)) he also has a very nice sense of humor. Let me get back to the staff. Overall, there are 6 people in the office including the dentist. They all work as team players with great morals, respect, integrity and treat each of their patients the way they need to be treated. Eddie is Dr Vartan's right hand. He is also friendly, & nice. Sometimes there may be a little wait, but they clear the traffic so fast, that you don't even know if you were stuck on the 405 South?, 10 East?, or 101 South? They do take most insurances, cash payments, credit cards, and I am not sure about anything else, since my insurance covers for my visits. Their expertise include: Cosmetics, general dentistry, and orthodontics. They have few parking spots behind the office and a clean restroom to use with not one, but two air fresheners. Pretty decor/pictures on the walls, in the exam rooms, & restroom. Overall, the office is SUPER CLEAN & equipment sanitized! She is more concerned about making money than she is about a patient's well-being. She could care less about her patients. Every appointment felt rushed, and I always had the impression that the focus was on getting patients in and out as quickly as possible rather than providing quality care. My dental cleanings were extremely fast and much more aggressive than I've ever experienced with any other dentist. My gums would bleed significantly after almost every cleaning, which had never happened to me before. I also had multiple fillings done, and over time every one of those fillings has come out. That has completely undermined my confidence in the quality of the dental work I received. Another concern was that my cleanings were performed by the dentist rather than a dental hygienist, which made the appointments feel even more rushed. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the quality of care and have not returned and will NEVER EVER return.

I can, however, share my consistent experiences with him and his office. I started going to him when I was a college student living on a shoestring budget, desperately saving up all I could to fix the many problems in my mouth (fillings, some root canals, deep cleaning - I got my dad's teeth, which are prone to such issues; thanks Dad!). I had also had a very bad experience with a dentist as a teenager, so I was nervous about new dentists and told him so. Dr. Davari was always straightforward and kind. He let me know what needed to be handled first and composed a plan that we followed for a few years until everything was done, going at the pace I could afford. He was very aware of pain management and never left me to suffer. (I also need more numbing than most people and it wears off sooner on me - again, thanks for that genetic legacy, Dad!) He checked in regularly to see how I was doing, explained procedures beforehand patiently, and did not press for anything that was not necessary at the moment. He made suggestions and explained them without undue pressure. I was impressed at the upgrades to his office over the years and enjoyed the ease of the technology as he incorporated it, but I never got the impression that he was letting the tech take over for solid dental knowledge and practice. I always felt like I received excellent care and definitely got what I paid for. I was often able to get appointments quickly (especially when I had last-minute problems develop, like a very old filling that fell out) and the office personnel were always kind and helpful to me. Cleanings were well done and well handled by hygienists. If I had to be referred elsewhere, such as for my root canals, I had excellent experiences with those I went to. I won't forget Dr. Davari or his office. He is the best dentist I've had in my life thus far. I am grateful to have been with them for so long and when I was so economically vulnerable, and I wish them the best every step of the way.

Dr. Dino truly saved my tooth!…read more In February, one of my crowned teeth became infected and had a strange odor that would not go away. This tooth had already gone through two root canals, and another dentist recommended replacing the crown. Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. No more odor, no more infection, and he saved my crown. The hygienist, Kimberly. Her excellent care truly enhanced the results of Dr. Dino's treatment. Two words immediately come to mind: thorough and intelligent.. She paid close attention to every detail and worked intelligently with the sensitive teeth, made a huge difference in the healing process.
