I have been going to Glenoaks Dental office since 2018.. I honestly don't know how to start my review because everything and everyone in this office is TOP NOTCH! I am going to start my review with my recent visit that I had with Nancy on 11/24/25. She is the Dental Hygienist for check up, cleaning, and X-ray. Nancy is as sweet as cherry pie. Always kind, prompt, punctual, helpful and friendly. She takes her time to do her work and knows what she is doing. Dr. Vartan is ONE OF A KIND! He has this demeanor about him that is extremely contagious in the most electrifying and magnetic way. I mean this in a very good way. He is sharp, keen, kind, professional, sweet, helpful, welcoming... with a nice smile, has a light spirit and a fast hand. These are just half of the qualities that I need and want to mention. There is so much that you can write about this WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING and his profession. His work is undeniably unbelievable. He KNOWS HIS JOB VERY WELL!!!! He is super knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable from the time you sit/lay down on the exam chair until it's time to leave. He always checks on you to see if you have any discomfort or pain while my mouth is wide open:-)) he also has a very nice sense of humor. Let me get back to the staff. Overall, there are 6 people in the office including the dentist. They all work as team players with great morals, respect, integrity and treat each of their patients the way they need to be treated. Maggie and Zepure work the front and the back of the office and do HECK of a GREAT JOB! Thank you ladies:-)) Katherine with a nice, sweet smile, does X-rays and helps out when needed. Eddie is Dr Vartan's right hand. He is also friendly, & nice. Sometimes there may be a little wait, but they clear the traffic so fast, that you don't even know if you were stuck on the 405 South?, 10 East?, or 101 South? They do take most insurances, cash payments, credit cards, and I am not sure about anything else, since my insurance covers for my visits. Their expertise include: Cosmetics, general dentistry, and orthodontics. They have few parking spots behind the office and a clean restroom to use with not one, but two air fresheners. Pretty decor/pictures on the walls, in the exam rooms, & restroom. Overall, the office is SUPER CLEAN & equipment sanitized! Worst staff worst dentist ever. They don't answer their phone they do not call anyone back and if you do manage to get an appointment it will take you well over an hour to actually see the dentist. So ridiculous no amount of quality care can make up for such awful service. I regret ever giving them my time or money will found a new and much better place. Don't even bother calling if you have an emergency either because they don't care neither does the dentist. Never had such a bad experience with any customer service place. Dr. Vartan is the best dentist I've ever been to. I had two impacted canines and at 30 years old, still having baby teeth was beyond embarrassing. I've been quoted ridiculous prices in the past and Dr. Vartan gave me the best price and offered to work with me on when I could make payments. I got a bridge on both sides of my mouth and two Veneers on the front teeth. I couldn't be happier with my result's. Dr. Vartan literally changed my whole life. They never the phones calls, and anything you call to make an appoint they are very rude to costumers, also if they have opening they will have to schedule you 2 months later, as a dentist they must understand that its not a joke and the patient cant just sit there and wait two month in order to come for a check up read more

All I can say is stay away from this doctor. He just have ONE & only ONE office staff ,so she must help him during a treatment operation, answer the phone calls, clean the office make coffee,.. For that reason she is not really able to answer patients' phone calls( no matter how severe your pain is). And if by any chance, you want to confirm your appointment, or make a new appointment then good luck getting hold of that assistant. Every day I made about 10-15 calls for 10 days and finally on Saturday I managed to talk to the assistant. After putting me on a long hold, she let me know that my appointment was passed due.They had not even given me a reminder call.Isn't that funny? And when I asked them to reschedule me ,that so -called busy assistant told me she can give me one in two months. So after asking her a better explanation regarding their ignorance, she passed me the phone to the SUPER SUPER rude dentist who instead of apologizing and thinking of a remedy to solve the issue, the first thing he told me in a rude tone was to find another doctor and leave him alone ( I couldn't believe what I heard). His tone was so rude that for a second I wondered if he is a legit dentist with legit certifications ? As far as I know, doctors must not act like hooligans scaring their patients. So, just save yourself some time and stay away from him. read more
