Dr. Arakelian was a great dentist. Bittersweet to see her retire. The DDS who took over is competent & friendly. The last time I went, I had a great Oral Hygienist. Young lady that took my x-rays, not so good. She was a little rough. read more

She is great. She's the best dentist I've ever been to. No pain. fast and very nice . I recommend her strongly.

Honestly best dentist there is and affordable prices. They genuinely care about your oral health

I've been coming to Dr Arakelian since I was 12. It's been a while. There's a reason I've stuck with her and it's because her hygienist are phenomenal in detail with the scrapping and polishing. And also because she's fast and effective. She won't upsell products or services you do not need. I got a deep clean about two years ago and I asked if I needed one again. Nope. Ok that's awesome. If you have any concerns, tell her. She will assess the situation and be forthright. Now lets talk some insurances. As of currently, I have United Healthcare Dental. It's a HMO so they don't cover much but it's good enough to where I get to see an amazing dentist like Dr Arakelian. I'm not quite sure what other insurances they may take but call and ask. Their receptionists are pros at insurance. read more

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Arakelian for seven years and she's very professional. Dr. Arakelian will walk you through the procedures of deep cleaning and takes her time to explain her interpretations from dental x-rays. Dr. Arakelian has a very calming presence and I would highly recommend seeing her! read more

She's the best dentist I've ever been to. No pain. Very attentive to the needs of patients. I even had a wisdom tooth removed with no pain. I wholly recommend her. read more

First and foremost I give my dentist 5 STARS, Dr Melineh Arkelian DDS. She's great!!! Stars for HER! Not this place, not her team, not her receptionist, not their parkings, not their hygienists. Now... the 2 STARS REVIEW: I been coming here for years. This will be my first review of this place. Though I moved to Pomona. I still come here because Dr Melineh Arkelian DDS, she really is awesome.... but with that said, this place or the office always seems to overbooked. I am always finding myself waiting for 30+mins if not an hrs on. I hope this place changes their perspective on clients and customer relationship with service to meet customers time and expectations. Right now, this ain't happening here. Now the doctor (Melineh Arkelian DDS) has always been my favorite, very understanding and knowledgeable. Just the staffs here; FWKING SUCKS MAJOR ASS. They run it like they are the boss, and the hygienists fwking sucks (like I am saying sucks like they don't have a fwking clue what they are suppose to do with the dentist tools). Example: I once had my teeth cleaning scheduled. Ok, whole time I was expecting like always, I am going to see my awesome dentist. Nope, instead I was treated by an hygienist that seems completely uncomfortable or had no knowledge of how NOT to drown me. YES! I almost fwking choked on my mouth cleaning. Only reason I did not was cause I demanded to get off my chair to split out the water that was in my mouth, not being drained out like it suppose to. You would of figure they can see my face turning color, no, the hygienist said, please don't move I'm almost done. I'm like wtf, are you serious?!? Anyways, needless to say, I am not looking forward to this filling right now... but at least i know for a FACT that this time my dentist will be doing it... I hope. Fingers crossed I guess. As I am writing this, I am now 26... ooh sorry, 36mins in waiting without info on am I next to be checked in... or am I just waiting for another hr... don't know. So I will complete this review in 2hrs I will imagine.... read more

I've been going to Dr. Arakelian since I was a kid. Absolutely love her services, always painless and easy. Plus she's super sweet and attentive. read more

Today I received a check from the insurance company in the amount of $385 refunding the overcharge of Dr. Arakelian's office .

The worst teeth cleaning I ever got. In the end they sent an assistant to do polishing and it seemed like she has never done it before! Barely polished and my teeth didn't feel/look completely clean afterwards. read more

I am not their relative or friend or family member, so here's the actual truth about this place. If you value your time then DO NOT go there, it's a waste of time, the staff is unprofessional, the girl(forgot her name) doesn't know what she's doing & the front receptionist has the worst attitude, I left the office very unsatisfied, thank God I didn't even get to the part where they actually treat the teeth, but I can already imagine what would've happened. The dentist herself might be good & helpful, I don't know, because i didn't get to see her, but because of the disgusting experience with the office staff I would never want to see her(sorry). So if you ever thought about going to this office - Think Again! read more

I've been going to Dr. Arakelian for about 6 years now, not a single complaint so far...always a painless procedure & experience! Her staff is very welcoming and friendly. They send over a complimentary text message reminder for all appointments, and will go out of their way to work with your schedule as best as they can. Been to a few dentist offices and this is as good as it gets! Also a big thank you to the Dr. and her staff for their help on my recent visit 2 weeks ago! read more

I called the office n was greeted by a very professional compárate young lady. I explained everything about going new patient the pain etc. She said she would try to squeeze me in between the other appointments which she did. I was first delighted to see such a nice reception area n then I came face to face with the young lady I spoke yo on the phone I was right. I was treated for my toothache n referred to an oral surgeon. I am so happy that I will b a steady patient of this awesome Dentist n staff. read more

Dr. Arakelian is SO wonderful. Haven't been to a dentist in years due to some horrible experiences and partially dislocated jaw - plus thyroid cancer. She was so understanding, gentle and very knowledgeable with all my concerns and treatments. Hands down the BEST! place I've ever been to. Her expertise and care are an absolute Plus to have. read more

HORRIBLE experience! I will NEVER recommend anyone to this place. Went here with a very bad tooth ache. Dentist took forever to see me. They wouldn't tell me what my insurance covers and each time I asked they gave me an attitude. Then the dentist tells me, my tooth need to be pulled. I asked what's the earliest time and date because I'm in pain, she tells me in a few days. I tell the lady in the front desk and she says "no, we don't have anything for another 3 weeks. I'll call you in a few days and give you an appointment." SHE NEVER CALLED!!! I ended up going to another dentist and was MUCH more happier. read more

My story, I used her YEARS ago (like 2003) as she was one of the Dentists on our Insurance list. Well I left that company, moved to Florida, years went by...I never forgot what a lovely experience I had there..and all though I only had 2 sections deep cleaned I remember no pain, simple and easy :) I came back to LA and totally forgot her name, then reached out to some old co-workers that I assumed were still using her due to still being at the company, sure enough they were :) YAY... So not only from the 1st call was the lady nice, and answered all my questions, including pricing (2 other dentists I found on yelp would not answer that, and the :"average" pricing was higher. They also said they only did specific xrays to start and not full as that costed more. I don't know if I am allowed to put the cost of the FULL xray I got here today with Dr. Arakelian but let me tell you ANYONE would be happy to pay that price. So, I went in, the receptionist was her daughter, and lovely ....the assistant who actually did my xrays was sweet, gentle and fun to talk with..we agreed on similar movies we liked and quite frankly it distracted me from the many spots full xray experience. And I was pleasantly surprised that the xrays were immediate and digital :) no waiting..yay. OH...I was in the right area regarding parking but couldn't find her exact spot...the receptionist said "Oh, I see you let me come out" she came out and showed me exactly where to park :) YAY. I have found my dentist for life, I will highly recommend her, and will never change again. My next step is deep cleaning each section - and it is $75 cheaper then any other place that I contacted - please note, I pay cash so price is important, but the fact that she was less and so accomadating and pleasant and fast is icing on the cake :) read more

Dr. Arakelian is my dream dentist. Professional, warm, caring and considerate. My teeth look the best ever. And as for her staff,, they are super. I always listen to Dr. Arakelian's advice. She has the latest equipment and keeps up with her knowledge. I recommend her to all my friends. Nancy in Glendale. read more

I love Dr. Arakelian! She is so through in her work. I have been going to her for about 5 years and never been disapointed. Her proces are very resonable as well! read more

It was my first time at that office and my overall impression was very positive, right from the beginning with the front desk receptionist, the staff and of course the dentist herself. The entire work crew was very friendly, courteous and polite. I was very impressed with the dentist Melineh. I think she is highly skilled, professional and most important kind and very caring. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Five years later, and all I can say is THANK YOU, Dr. Arakelian. You have seen my family through thick and thin with our (very difficult!) dental issues. This year, Melineh finally redid my four front crowns and I get NOTHING but compliments on them all the time. Makes me wish I had done them years ago! Thank you for my brand new smile and giving me a reason to smile! read more

I came here as a first time patient and the A hole Doctor not realizing I was a patient had my car towed for parking in the parking they had assigned to their patients! I asked the front desk about it and they said there was nothing they could do and I just had to pay the fine... I will never be returning here again and I advise anyone who doesn't want to pay a fine of $170 not to either! read more

I remember that i came in at 9 a.m. in the morning (my appointment time), they put me in the chair. I spend in that chair 40 minutes - nobody came over to see me. So I just stood up and left that office, not to come back any time soon. You've got to respect your time even when others don't! read more

Dr Arakelian & Dr Stella are exceptional Dentists who know how to treat their patients well. Dr. Arakelian and Dr Stella are very knowledgeable in their line of work. I am very sensitive when it comes to dental care, with that in mind, I feel comfortable knowing that both doctors are are aware of this, and are attentive to my needs when providing necessary dental care. 5 stars, Would definitely recommend! read more

Don't go here! I was told after my first cleaning that I needed to have two small cavities filled. I had no pain and no issues with my teeth prior to this. I went in for the fillings, only to be told that I had to come back for three more small cavities they failed to mention at the first appointment. When I came back for the three fillings, they could only do one of them because the other two were on the other side of my mouth. I've never experienced this before at a dentist and was extremely annoyed that I would have to come back for a 4th visit in such a short period. After I finally had all of the fillings, one of them caused me extreme pain. Every bite on that side of my mouth killed. After 5 days of extreme pain, I came in for my scheduled appointment to have it looked at only to be told that the dentist had gone home sick. They had called me while I was on my way there to tell me the appointment was canceled. I came back again the next day and the dentist told me it was normal to have this kind of pain after having a cavity filled. I've never had pain after having cavity filled before. And I did not have pain to start with! She had someone come in and tap on the tooth to determine that "I did not need a root canal". A ROOT CANAL! It was the worst communication, scheduling, pain, and what I believe was unnecessary fillings I have ever experienced from a dentist. Six months later and the pain has finally subsided. I do not recommend going to this dentist unless you want to deal with money hungry and confusing staff who are not interested in communicating or providing information unless you drag it out of them. They fill "small" cavities just to charge your insurance for them and don't care if they screw them up. They'll make you come in repeatedly without providing information about what is going on in your mouth or how many appointments will be necessary. 6 appointments in 2 months for what was supposed to be 2 small cavities and then 6 months of ongoing pain and not being able to chew on one side of my mouth. I strongly discourage anyone from going here. read more

Love her so much. Very skilled and extremely nice. Like other people have stated, her office texts you in order to remind you of your appointment. The receptionist is also really kind and helpful, along with the assistant nurses. I look forward to visiting her everytime for my appointments! read more

Best Dentist ever! Let me start off by saying, I am a very picky person when it comes to someone taking care of my teeth! That being said, she really works hard to ensure that you are pain free when you leave her office. She has done an outstanding job in my book. And I've been to at least 10 other Doctors and no one compares to her. The Doctors I came across were actually ruining my teeth rather than fixing them so I would continue to go to them. read more
