Drove through Vallejo early this morning and this spot was down the street from my job site. Skeptical at first, but wow was I surprised. Great food, great coffee and great service. Typical diner vibes with food you will crave and remember!

I am not sure how long this place has been opened. But I want to show some love so that it can stay open. We had the most delicious breakfast here and it is a clean, and cute restaurant! The service was fast and the server was so great and friendly. Service with a smile. I had the Anita coffee which was creamy and sweet but not too sweet. And it's served in a big cup and comes with a cookie. I also had the chilequiles with a green sauce. Everything was delicious and fresh.

I've gone to Anita's almost 4 times in a month. Everything I've ordered has been incredible. I've even doordashed and its been just as excellent as the eating in option. Go, go, now! Best chilaquiles ever.

Parking Free Alot. Nice ambiance, clean, organized. Service was okay. Was not greeted, everyone in the kitchen. Food was fresh, could use more flavor, it was just okay. Menu was limited. No chicken meals.

Today Sunday I went to try the pozole and it was so so sooooo good 10/10. Great service como siempre!!!!

Cute little breakfast restaurant!! The service was AMAZING and very personable! Definitely come check them out, their chilaquiles were BOMB

Great traditional flavors. Carne con rajas y papas-yum!

Traditional flavors are hard to find. Anita's offers buffet on Sunday. Can't wait to come back. Absolutely worth the ride from Marin

1star. They take your money, but, talk about you while you're eating. They service, food, and attitude are not good.

They are do NOT treat black people fair. We sat at a table that was not wiped. Addressed AFTER ALL of the non-black patrons were taken of, had to ask waitress clean obvious dirty table, and waitress along with some patrons talked bad about in Spanish (but spoke English when not talking bad about us)! We were were attempting to support a new restaurant. They can keep it! My husband and I will NOT be coming back. As for the food... I've had better Mexican food everywhere else in town, except Anita's. PSA: IS YOU NOT BLACK DON'T GO! YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED FAIRLY!

Menu as of 1/14/25. It's new and clean and pretty in here!

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

At best it's rated a 1 . The food is not even seasoned. Yes it's big portions but no season in the taco meat. I got 4 asada tacos and 1 asada torta for the cost of $29 and both orders weren't seasoned. Service was low level. Ambiance is a parking lot. The music was the only thing that was good. I really can't believe people be so excited to be in line for unseasoned food. Never again. So yes this is not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

We order ahead because we're on a tight schedule -- I'm a busy, involved parent getting him to the gym after school. A few weeks back, despite ordering plain chicken, his plate came out with pico de gallo. He won't eat it that way. I didn't have time to drive back, so I let it go. The following week, we ordered in person and the waitress assured me she double-checked the order. My son's meal came out correctly -- but my plate was made plain instead of how I ordered it. Not a big deal. I can eat it. I called simply to let them know there was a mix-up -- not demanding anything, not asking for free food. What I wasn't prepared for was being called a liar. I was told the order was made correctly and that if I wanted it fixed I had to bring everything back immediately -- including the salsas. I explained we were on a time schedule for my son's gym session. Instead of understanding, I was told my "games won't fly" there and that I was being a "Karen" looking for free food. My son was hungry and upset during the call. She heard him. We drove back anyway. I placed the plate on the counter, and once she saw it, the mistake was obvious. Only then did she offer to remake it. At that point it wasn't about the food -- it was about being accused of lying and being publicly disrespected in front of my child. Weeks later, I noticed the order was never refunded. I had to dispute the charge with American Express to get my money back. I've supported this restaurant for years. This wasn't about a wrong plate -- mistakes happen. It was about how we were treated when trying to resolve it. I can't return after being called dishonest and a beggar over a simple order issue.

I finish my Men's room business , I flush and there is not enough water to whoosh everything down the commode. I apologize to God for me cursing the last stall occupant. The toilet tank takes fourever- no tenever to refill. We get our meals. The chili relleno was as good tasting as I have ever had. Served hot the way I like it. The refried beens are refried beans-good. They could have been served hotter. Unfortunately, the chopped steak taco was so salty and over spiced that I couldn't eat it. What a waste. It looked so good. We were given about nine tortilla chips haphazardly scattered on the serving tray. To share I guess. Oh No My wife starts complaining that her ground beef enchilada is so salty that any other ingredient flavors are drowned out. About my wife. Now this woman is the salt of the earth. She is infamous for over salting because she loves it.. She really loves salt. She adds salt and splashes soy (salt) sauce on almost every meal. She would vacation in a salt mine if she could. "Damn" I'm thinking. "That enchilada must be salty." But wait. There's more. Next she complains that the enchiladas tortilla wrapper is way too thick. Hard to cut with the plasticware. I try to calm her by saying "Maybe it is home made and other customers like it thick." I'm growing curious now Why does she have a can of Coke and a straw but no cup of ice. She always has a cup of ice for her can of Coke. I tighten my lips rather than getting off my lazy arse to get ice for her. Somehow she read my mind and she blurted -"They charge $.50 cents for ice here." Smh. Everyone these days has a problem with ice.

The food is very, very good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions you get are worth it. It's kind of hard to miss when driving by, but they also have a small sign near the street letting you know they're there. I had known about this taco truck for years but never stopped until last year, and now I wish I had gone sooner. I ordered a super burrito and a few tacos. One thing I really like is that they actually list the length of their burritos on the menu. That's a nice touch because sometimes you order a "super burrito" somewhere else and end up with something small. Here, you know exactly what you're getting. Out of all the taco trucks in Vallejo, this is easily one of my top three burrito trucks. I try not to burn myself out eating at the same place too often, so I like switching between favorites, and this is definitely one I keep coming back to. I almost always get the steak burrito. One thing I really love is the pico de gallo they use. They use red onions, which gives it a nice touch, and every time I get it, I can really taste the cilantro in the pico de gallo throughout the burrito. The steak and chicken street tacos were also really good but the burrito is always my favorite! Parking is never an issue because they share a parking lot with an auto body shop during off-hours, so there's usually plenty of space. They also have cones to help guide cars entering and exiting the lot. When your food is ready, they call your order number over the microphone/intercom system, then ask if you want red or green sauce and chips. Overall, I've always had a great experience here. If you're in Vallejo and looking for a good taco truck, I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
