It's a good thing I'm familiar with the layout of the store, though, because customer service is hit or miss. I had to track someone down to help me find the right product to help a dying tree and he seemed a little annoyed that I had questions. The cashiers are also a little on the lax side when it comes to customer service. I've never had any of them smile or attempt small talk conversation with me. However, most of the time my experience is pretty good. After all, this isn't a store that people come to browse and hang out in. It's a chore on the to-do list. Get in, get your stuff and get going.

Trust me when I say, you will regret going anywhere other than here…read more One thing I cannot stand about pet-care is its inconsistency - whether for just general grooming, or emergencies, or somewhere in between. This is the ONE place I've never had to worry about that. Park Animal Hospital already beats out the competition by pricing alone. Oh my, I am shocked every time I visit, by how affordable they are! They definitely like to over-quote over the phone I've noticed, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but gosh you cannot beat their affordability especially if you don't have pet insurance. But aside the pricing - The staff and management are the BEST, and this is why they deserve 5 stars. I've heard horror stories of other local pet-care facilities in this regard, but it's so apparent that the staff here care about what they do. They'll take the time to explain procedures, they'll always remain positive, patient, and understanding, and they get the job done well. I can't say enough about this place. Pay them a visit. You won't regret it in the least.

This review has taken me a LONG time to post…read more My husband and I have no children at home. Our animals fill that void and are treated as such. 3 schnauzers and 2 cats have become our kids. My 8 year old schnauzer was diagnosed with seizures and declined rapidly. When things turned for the worst and my normal vet was just too far, I gave Ribbonwood a call. They were patient with me on that call as I could barely get any words out to explain the crisis situation I was dealing with. They were able to get us In Promptly and were very attentive, sympathetic and professional as we arrived - me in total breakdown tears and my dog suffering. After the vet came in and evaluation was done, we decided no amount of money could save my dog and in the best interest of him, it was his time to move on. The Dr. and staff were very personable and made sure we were taken care of with the upmost respect and care. I was educated and able to make decisions with my dog in mind and professional staff to help guid me. The entire time I was there I was treated with love; as was my baby. They went above and beyond to help make me feel comfortable in a devastating situation. I have the up most respect for all of the staff here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was truly disappointing. We brought our…read moreanxious pup in with the goal of scheduling a sedation grooming appointment -- something we were told required an initial vet visit to establish care first. Fair enough. We followed through, paid several hundred dollars for his vet exam and other recommended services, and assumed we were on the right track. Fast forward to when I called to schedule the actual grooming: I spoke with a woman who was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. She informed me (bluntly) that no groomers were taking on new clients -- something that would've been helpful to know before spending hundreds of dollars. When I expressed that, she offered no apology. Instead, she started sharing way too much personal information about staff members being out on PTO due to various family issues. I was shocked and uncomfortable. This is a business, not a therapy session -- I was calling to schedule a service, not hear about your internal staffing problems. Despite all this, I later received a call saying one groomer was willing to see our dog after all. Great -- we scheduled the appointment, and my husband even took PTO to be available. But the day before the appointment, we got another call canceling it because the groomer now had a personal issue. When I asked to reschedule, they flatly said no. No alternatives offered. No accountability. No care. We're now left scrambling to find a new provider -- but honestly, I'm relieved. If this is how they handle communication and client service, I wouldn't feel safe leaving our dog in their care anyway. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly not equipped to handle clients with even a basic level of respect.
