I understand that matted fur has to be shaved, however, that doesn't mean his entire body has to be shaved. Ive tried communicating several times that we want to keep him as fluffy as possible...and still he is always shaved nearly hairless. It's pretty clear that this place doesn't take the time and care these dogs deserve; my dog came home from his appointment last week with SEVERAL cuts. The one on his foot has given him a slight limp the past couple days and he cries whenever we try to look at it. I sent photos of the cuts and a text expressing my disappointment and we heard NOTHING back. Nothing. I've been going here for two years and have probably paid close to $1000. No response. No concern for my dog. Long story short: don't take your dogs here unless you're okay with them getting sliced with no accountability.

I mentioned I wanted a sanitary trim and showed her how short I wanted it. I also mentioned the knots he had under his armpits and neck, and that I wanted that cut or brushed out. When I picked him up there was no sanitary trim done, only half of his belly hair was trimmed and the fur cut on his behind was INCREDIBLY choppy and still very long. It looks TERRIBLE! He still had all of the knots and he has been in distress ever since I picked up him up. He hasn't been acting the same and I have a feeling he was mistreated. Each time I pick him up he sounds like he's hurting, especially around his little arms; he doesn't let me pick him up for more than a few minutes. The first time I took him he looked perfect, and the groomer said he was sweet and everything had gone as planned. I was surprised since it was his first time. I left you guys great reviews for how well he was treated and how he turned out. I'm extremely disappointed in how his service went this past weekend. I felt terrible for 1: putting him through whatever the groomer did to him and 2: spending so much money for a service that could've been done better at Petco. The location is literally four blocks from our house so in terms of convenience it can't get any better. The groomers are amazing! Our Sheltie has never looked better and he actually goes in willingly with a doggy smile on his face.
