Personally, I get a better deal, faster booking, better cuts, and nicer employees going to Petco grooming. Would not recommend to my friends.

The staff clearly loves animals and cares a lot for the dogs that board with them. As a result, I trust that they will take the best care of my dog while she's there. Just recently I received a call from one of the staff saying that they noticed our dog just seemed to be a bit out of sorts. The fact that they would notice and take the time to let me know was very appreciated. Obviously with any free play dog environment, there is bound to be the occasional tussle or minor altercation with other dogs. On the rare occasions over the past three years when this has happened, the staff has been very professional. I was always informed promptly of what had occurred. I appreciate that they have never tried to hide anything from us. Ultimately, the strongest positive review is how happy our dog is every time we drop her off.

Petco sold me a fish they injured trying to catch. We didn't know it was injured at the time. I have vital care so I got a 20% off deal and used our 5 dollar monthly allowance that you get for being a vital care member. but the fish died within 5 mins and we had to turn around and drive back. So we started the exchange process which is supposed to be free. But the vital care messed up the exchange process which made it so the fish exchange was no longer free but 2 dollars extra. so we canceled the exchange and we will cancel our vital membership. Do not get the vital membership it messes with everything regarding fish issues. I will be shopping at petsmart because they honor their exchange policy.

We were very nervous about having our dogs stay at a boarding facility. We were able to come tour and see the facility to make sure that we felt comfortable and confident leaving our dogs here. We left them for over a week. They seem to love it and were taken great care of. It seemed that they got to play a lot and we appreciated knowing that they were being watched over while we were away. Luckily it has scabbed over and did not need stitches. He had powder all over his paws from them cutting his nails too short. Every time I touched his paws he quickly pulled away. My other dog had razor burns EVERYWHERE, I had to put ointment on him religiously. Please please please do not bring your babies here. I can not imagine how awful it was for my dogs.

I updated to a 3 star for the service provided the second day, but the first experience and prior experiences prevent me from honestly reviewing any higher. 2 stars seemed too low and discrediting of the staff on my second visit, and 4 stars seemed too high of a rating for such poor service received on the first visit.
