You know, when you know! I have a forever groomer who loves my pups. Hannah C will remember you pup, remember you and give those that have a little anxiety the extra TLC they need. She is super accommodating and often has me on her schedule within days! I used to wait a month. They have a great little store where you can buy quality food, treats or other supplies. Their price is very competitive, I don't feel like I am overpaying. Also, they make sure that all pricing is discussed prior to the service. My GSD hates her nails being touched, Hannah can drimel them! That alone is the best review...I will never look again.

I have been taking my Westies for a couple of years to Pet Potential & I just love the entire staff. They take really good care of my dogs & it dosen't take all day. They look like a Westie is supposed to look & that means a lot to me . I request certain times & days they are always happy to make sure that is what I get. I always get the full salon treatment, bath, nails, hair cut & they smell wonderful. Great Job as always.

Called for an appointment and got a date for a few days later. Parking was easy. The pet shop and grooming area looked tidy. The groomer was ready for my dog's appointment. It only took them an hour to get her groomed. My dog looks much better than when I brought her in. I do think the groomer was newer at her job because she did not cut my dog's facial hair evenly and one nail was trimmed too much and bled. Also, this time they didn't attach any bow or bandanas.

PET ESSENTIALS was THE BEST! They were professional, always provided stellar customer service, and truly understood the intricacies of grooming a Scottie. My dog was always in the best hands under their care. However, things have drastically changed under the new management at PET POTENTIAL (formerly Pet Essentials) and it's been a completely different experience. We have given them numerous chances to get it right, but time and again, they have failed us in the most frustrating ways. To make matters worse, Taylor--the groomer in charge--refused to acknowledge that she does not know how to properly execute a Scottie cut. Instead of the recognizable style we requested, my dog came home looking more like a bulldog than a Scottie! Even after showing her a clear reference photo, nothing was done properly. Her beard was shaved off, her skirt was completely lost, and she gave her a poodle tail! It's absolutely infuriating that no one in their establishment seems willing or capable of providing the right grooming for a Scottie. Every time we requested to speak with a manager about the situation, we were given the same excuse: "The manager has already left for the day," yet every time we ended up speaking to Taylor. What's even more concerning is that Pet Potential has been without a manager for months--and that is the truth. A quick Google search confirms that they have been actively seeking a new one for an extended period. This is lie #1. If Taylor is not qualified to perform the grooming services we expect, she should have been honest with us from the start, rather than assuring us that she could handle the requested cut. We provided clear guidance, yet what was delivered was the polar opposite. That's lie #2. The situation escalated further when Taylor argued and yelled at my wife on the phone, giving a flimsy excuse that our expectations were impossible to meet. This is utterly false--our dog has been groomed at this very establishment for years with the same expectations, and those previous groomers knew exactly how to do it. But now, we're left with an unprofessional, subpar experience. To top it all off, Taylor refused to apologize for this disastrous grooming session or the previous ones--despite the fact that we have been more than patient and understanding with them. She still expected us to pay the full price of $75 for a grooming job that was absolutely unacceptable. The customer service here is beyond poor, and we've been subjected to nothing but frustration and disappointment. If you love and value your pet as much as we do, we strongly urge you to avoid Pet Potential--and especially Taylor--if you want your furry family member to receive the care and grooming they deserve. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and quality service is something we can no longer tolerate. This experience has left us completely disillusioned and upset.

My husband and I have taken our baby Toaster to so many groomers due to not loving his haircut but I think the search is over -- we've found our place! Christian was our groomer and he did such a good job listening to what we wanted (we wanted a teddy bear cut with not too much length cut off) and the photo speaks for itself. Look at how cute and perfect he looks! I've already recommended this place to several of my friends. Thanks Pet Potential!

    My miniature schnauzer Beans

We just moved states and were looking for a groomer for our two miniature schnauzers. They've been pretty anxious while adjusting to the move and the groomers here took such good care of them! One of my dogs, Beans, hardly lets anyone touch his feet, let alone cut his nails, and they were able to do so with great results. They have an amazing environment and groomed them exceptionally well!

They did a great job on my dogs hair, I had her nails painted and it needed a little work.

My Yorkie can be a bit anxious but the groomers were patient with him. They got him in and out quickly and efficiently. He looks great!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was truly disappointing. We brought our…read moreanxious pup in with the goal of scheduling a sedation grooming appointment -- something we were told required an initial vet visit to establish care first. Fair enough. We followed through, paid several hundred dollars for his vet exam and other recommended services, and assumed we were on the right track. Fast forward to when I called to schedule the actual grooming: I spoke with a woman who was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. She informed me (bluntly) that no groomers were taking on new clients -- something that would've been helpful to know before spending hundreds of dollars. When I expressed that, she offered no apology. Instead, she started sharing way too much personal information about staff members being out on PTO due to various family issues. I was shocked and uncomfortable. This is a business, not a therapy session -- I was calling to schedule a service, not hear about your internal staffing problems. Despite all this, I later received a call saying one groomer was willing to see our dog after all. Great -- we scheduled the appointment, and my husband even took PTO to be available. But the day before the appointment, we got another call canceling it because the groomer now had a personal issue. When I asked to reschedule, they flatly said no. No alternatives offered. No accountability. No care. We're now left scrambling to find a new provider -- but honestly, I'm relieved. If this is how they handle communication and client service, I wouldn't feel safe leaving our dog in their care anyway. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly not equipped to handle clients with even a basic level of respect.

Well they completely ignored me and did it anyway. I then spent the following 3 days, trying to soothe and comfort my dog who was having full panic attacks and licking himself raw. The vet confirmed his glands were expressed. To me this is unacceptable and I did contact them to file a complaint. I do not recommend any place who does not take your animals needs seriously.
