Love this kibbles & cuts location! We have been going to the Draper location for our dog and long haired cat for awhile now. They stopped taking cats so I just switched to the Sandy location and it was so good! Our frog is short haired so just gets a bath and his nails done but he always looks and smells so good after. They also always put a bandana on him which is so cute! Our cat is a long haired big boy who we do a lion cut on. He is a lot more anxious when getting groomed. The previously location did fine but you could tell they were less familiar with cats. Matt at the Sandy location was AMAZING! Our kitty looks so good and he was able to get the lion cut perfect! I specifically chose this Sandy location and made a two-hour round-trip drive from Vineyard because their online presence claims they are highly trusted and equipped to handle anxious cats. That marketing is entirely fraudulent. My four-year-old cat has documented anxiety but has zero history of true aggression and has never once drawn blood. The primary, urgent objective of this visit was a sanitary trim for her physical well-being, as she cannot adequately self-groom. I explicitly communicated that this was the priority. Instead, the staff's execution was an absolute failure of professional standards. We checked her in promptly at 2:00 PM for a sanitary trim, bath, and brush. We received a call an hour later at 3:00 PM stating they had just barely started, but were aborting the appointment because she was being "too aggressive." The reality of what occurred is infuriating: Negligent Confinement:They left a highly anxious animal locked in her small travel carrier in the back of a loud pet store for a full hour before even touching her--essentially manufacturing the very stress they later claimed they couldn't handle. Incompetence & Immediate Surrender: Once they finally took her out, they completely ignored the primary health directive (the sanitary trim) and instead tried to trim her claws--something I explicitly stated I can do fine at home. At the first sign of standard feline stress and squirming, they immediately gave up and refused to attempt the bath. There is a vast distinction between a cat vocally protesting a hostile environment and actual aggression. I am highly confident that any competent professional should have easily managed her behavior with patience. I would love to see the security footage of the grooming area to see exactly what "techniques" were attempted before they surrendered. While I appreciate that they ultimately did not charge us, waived fees do not compensate for the psychological distress inflicted on my pet. Instead of returning home clean and comfortable, she was subjected to three cumulative hours of stressful travel and confinement for absolutely zero result. Do not waste your time bringing your cats here. They are entirely unequipped to handle standard feline behavior, despite what their advertising claims. read more

I always take my dog Hazel here for a bath and brush or to get de-shedded! they always do a great job with her even though she's always pretty anxious and nervous. I took Hazel in last week, and Marion did an awesome job deshedding her. Not an easy task, as hazel has sooo much hair. To boot, i have just gotten a rescue cat who was in pretty rough shape. She was covered in mats on her back and had a case of poo-butt. Though I tried my best to clean her up, I figured she would be better off in the hands of a pro. I have been going to kibbles and cuts for 4-5 months, this last experience was so amazing I must write a review! My recent grooming of my schnauzer was done by Matt! He was so amazing, he shared the name of the detangle they use on dogs! And then when he finished they asked for a review. I loved what he did for my dog, just had one minor issue! It wasn't really that big a deal,but I believe if something isn't right, say it! I did and when I did Matt wrote me and offered to fix it at no cost. Who does that, in today's world! It wasn't so impressed that I must write about it! I love most groomers, because I know they must love animals to do what they do. But this guy and everyone I have had at Kibbles and cuts are extraordinary! I highly recommend them! This is st the Highland store, but I strongly suspect this is true at all their stores! Went with my cat to get him groomed due to excessive shedding. It was just first time getting professionally groomed, so we were both a bit nervous. The people were very nice which I appreciated, and I clarified he had been shedding a bunch. I waited an hour for it to be finished, but when I went to go pick him up, he was still COVERED in loose hair. I assumed it was just some random hair stuck to his coat and carrier, so I checked when I got home, and his undercoat was untouched by a brush. I would understand if I had just asked for him to be bathed, but they didn't even bother with the actual brushing part!!! I was able to get a whole other cats worth of hair off of him, which I had paid them 80$+ to do!!!! The people and the shop were nice, and it seemed clean and sanitary, but the service was mediocre at best. At least my cat is clean now. read more

We takeout 2 chihuahuas in to get their nails trimmed every couple of months. There very good with handling the dogs. Max does really well. Maybe because he has only 1 eye. Ben is skittish. I will never take my dog there again. First of all, I ask them to leave him as - granted I realize he had some maths, but they shaped every single possible part of his body, even his little face there were no on his face. They left some hair underneath one eye and shaved it away from the other eye. They left various wisps of hair all over his head. But most of all the tips of both of his ears were badly cut. This was not mentioned to me when I picked him up, but I noticed him later. It's them a week and a half to finally get scabs on because they were raw. They had to have been quite a bit of blood because the tips were totally cut off of and jagged on the other ear. I called kibbles and cuts to tell them about it, and the girl who answered the phone said she would tell her manager, and I have not heard word one from them. My dog has been so jittery and clingy since then he won't leave me alone for a minute. The groomers name was Matt. Please please don't submit your dogs to this. read more

Kelly was her groomer and she did such an excellent job. Pearl isn't the best at sitting still, but Kelly was still able to do wonders - Pearl came in looking like a hot mess and came out like a new doggo :) Everyone was super nice, it's reasonably priced, it's in a convenient location, and it's really easy to make an appointment. **BUYER BEWARE** I gave them one star because my dog at least wasn't noticeably bleeding from the grooming gone terribly wrong incident! (Although I later discovered scabs on the tips of both ears.) On 10/27/22 I took in my shaggy Yorkie mix for a slight trim and came back to what looked to be a hairless Chihuahua who was completely unrecognizable! From the end of his nose, to the tip of his tail, including whiskers & eyelashes, all shaved completely off! No more Yorkie mustache and beard, no eyebrows or spiky ears. I now have what looks to be a hairless rat for the winter. Absolutely NOT what I agreed to!! To add insult to injury I was told he was bathed. But he did not smell any different. And definitely not clean. We had only owned our dog for 3 weeks at this time and it definitely traumatized him and us! Paid $80-ish for the worst cut I've ever seen on a dog! Took my two small dogs here to get groomed. We have been taking them here for over a year and have never had any problems before. Today i came to pick up my two dogs, my little Yorkie came back with the underneath of his leg looking like this. Before they said anything about the wound they had me pay first. They showed me the wound and said it wasn't that bad but when i got home it started bleeding everywhere. the groomer told us he had a small abscess that was already oozing blood with puss which wasn't because i would have noticed that. They also mentioned they had their "vet tech" look at it. Never called me or anything asking permission to squeeze out whatever "abscess" was there. Don't take your dog here. We went twice both times a disaster. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt after our first issue with them. Second time my very bold Alfa dog- ran out of there, shaking and I had to pick her up and put her in my car she was terrified and wouldn't move once in the parking lot. They didn't cut her nails like they were suppose to even though they said they did - one paw doesn't count when you pay for 4. Didn't blow dry her, couldn't trim her because they didn't blow dry her. She was done 45 minutes early. All this was fine the first time except she had a dog bite on her leg they tried to say didn't happen there - we don't have other dogs at home and vet confirmed it was a bite. They said "no dog on dog contact here." Dropped her off the second time and they were all crowed in the back together. Never again. read more

i came here back in february to get my kitty groomed. they seemed really nice at the beginning. i got a call about 20 minutes later and the lady started with saying i had to come pick my cat up. "she's like, freaking out and won't let anyone touch her. she peed all over herself and won't stop hissing and swiping at people. i think you need to get medicated or something because she can't be allowed back here" i was shocked at this because my kitty is the calmest i've ever met in my life. she never hisses, never swipes, she is so chill with new people and even vets. i show back up to pick up my girl, and the groomer comes out and explains the situation. she states that she was doing really well until they got to her head, and that's when she got really protective. they told me there was a former vet tech who was working there and he thought she might have an ear infection. we have used Kibbles and cuts for 1 year in Highland. We had a scheduled appointment for today. once we arrived, we met with a new employee. he asked for our dogs vaccine records. We explained we have been coming for over 1 year, and you have our records. The new employee stated, well.....we just changed to a new system. my wife then asked why didn't the employee she spoke with to schedule the appt explain that she needed to bring that. He then tried calling our vet which first thing in the morning they're busy. Then my wife asked are you going to groom our dog? he said not until I get her records. he then said let me check with my manager. we know who the manager is and he knows us. the manager acted like they have never seen us, didn't know who we we are. after coming 1 full year and always giving them great tips, this is how they treated us? after waiting almost 15 min. my wife asked again so you won't take her then? No was the response. she then cancelled the appt. We will never come back again! we found a new groomer. So disappointing that after coming for so long and realizing we weren't a valued client, we were just a number!! read more

This was our first time using their grooming services and they did an amazing job! Our dog is very anxious, and can give groomers a really hard time. The service only took about an hour and a half, and our pup came out looking great. The store is clean and the staff is all very friendly. They answered all our questions and made us feel confident leaving our dog with them. They even hand out a little report card telling you how the service went, as well as any notes they saw about your dog. Our dog smelled so good and was incredibly soft. They even put on a cute little bandana. We will definitely be using their services again! read more

I had an appointment today for my mini schnauzer with Whitney at the South Jordan location. When I brought her in they asked me for her vaccination card, which I did not have. I have taken her there two previous times and was never asked for her card. The person checking me in mentioned that I had received a text the day before requesting that I bring it, which I DID NOT receive. When I told her I hadn't received a text she grabbed Whitney to come up and talk to me. Whitney came up and immediately told me, in a very snarky tone, that she had text me the day before about it (which she had not) and said that even though we had been in previously "Management is cracking down on having the vaccination card". This review is not based on the fact that they want the card, but about the impolite way that I was treated at the front desk. My dog also immediately starts shaking as soon as we walk in the door which she has never done at previous groomers, which should have probably been a sign I needed to find someone else.
