We provide them with the contact information for the two ferries that service the island. They cancel the appointment the day before stating they do not service the island at this time. Fast forward 10 months, Reliable Power systems contacts me with an email announcing that they NOW service the barrier island and would love to set up a sales visit. We revisit the conversation that the house is on a barrier island that requires a ferry ride... yeah, yeah we know we service and install on the island now, not a problem. We set up the appointment, they confirm the appointment two days out by email and then they call 30 minutes prior to our confirmed appointment time stating they have no way of getting to the island and that they will not be able to make the appointment or handle the installation. The good news, we didn't get stuck with a generator that couldn't get serviced by this unreliable company. I would strongly caution anyone on using them. Reliable Power Systems is anything but reliable.

I was tired and worn out from having to make endless choices in very critical areas of restoring my Momma's home in N. Ft. Myers. I want to tell folks that when I initially googled trying to locate businesses to purchase my vanity/kitchen cabinets from, Affordable Cabinets had a 4.8 score on their Google reviews. When I went back in the other day to purchase more from them, I asked Karl what happened to their score because it had dropped. Turns out, they took on a huge job that involved a large apt. complex or may have been a condominium with lots and lots of residents. They encountered unforseen problems, I understood, with one of their manufacturers in getting the orders in that involved this huge job. It wasn't anything they or their company did, and tried to let the people know what was going on and what they were doing to resolve the problems through the contractor that had chosen them for this massive order, but, they were not able to contact all these individuals separately to let them know that they were working on getting the problem fixed as quickly as they could and were no longer going to use that supplier. A few of the residents who, of course, were not working with them directly complained on their Google reviews, which made their score go down. I had not completed my review because of all the deadlines I've been under in helping my elderly Momma in the restoration of her home that was apocolyptically flooded by Hurricane Ian last year. I decided to help them set the record straight using my review to help when I heard what had happened with their Google reviews. They are absolutely a wonderful local family business who go above and beyond for their customers in every aspect of their business. They have super competitive pricing, amazing customer service, wonderful quality products they stand behind, and offer lots of help, including coming to your home for measurements at no charge, advice concerning your project and after sales support and guidance! Never ordered. Bought the exact same on line at less cost This business had an issue with a person that was helping us during reconstruction after hurricane Ian. They had a falling out (for reasons unknown to me and I can't help but feel they took out their grievances on the customer). Not a good business practice. CAVEAT EMPTOR!
