I paid the fee and tipped the workers well. However, today, when trying to reach them for my annual service, I have left several messages since 8:30AM and have not received any return call. No one has picked up the phone or returned my call after 5.5 hours now. I have 2 numbers on my contract and on their business card and have called both numbers numerous times, yet no one returns any of my calls. It appears that they have now moved from my area (hmmm...) but a call to possibly refer another contractor would have been nice. But apparently these people are not. Then after paying all except a small percentage that I was trying to negotiate a fair settlement they refused to negotiate and put a lien on my home and now I will have to drag this out. They placed me on hold for quite some time and then the came back and said "due to the recent hurricanes", your warranty is no longer valid. The visit will cost $295 and then some depending on the circumstance. How can a roof company unilaterally negate a warranty, and then because of "recent hurricanes" (we do live in Florida)? I never got an answer. We have probably 10 houses on our block that had roof replacements through ABC and this is the gratitude and legal commitment given when we need them? So beware of doing business with ABC. There's clearly unethical behavior going on here, perhaps illegal and the market needs to be warned to steer clear of business practices like this
