Andrew is known for his Epoxy artwork table tops and bar tops at many local restaurants, yet his beautiful work has been created at many places outside the confines of Cape Coral. And here's an extremely important fact. We now have beautiful, new, countertops at the THIRD of the cost of replacing them with Quart, thanks this true artist and master of Epoxy and resin. The process takes about four days, during which true magic happens. All done by hand by Andrew. Truly fascinating. C&C Construction just completed our kitchen, pantry, guest bath, and master bathroom makeovers…read more Prior to contracting with C&C we did our due diligence and met with several contractors and secured several bids. What stood out with C&C is that we met with the owner, Joe, and not a sales representative. Joe listened to what we were hoping to achieve and offered suggestions. He invited us to tour his manufacturing facility were his team custom makes all the cabinets. The actual showroom is very small but has samples of all cabinet types and countertops you would need. The manufacturing facility is huge. That is what really impressed us. We wanted a white cabinet and Joe suggested and alabaster which is a softer white. I was concerned it would be too beige but was able to see a very large competed cabinet in his plant which confirmed we made the right choice. Joe was able to make the cabinets so that they would fit perfectly in our kitchen with as little fillers as possible. Remember you need fillers to open cabinets etc., but excessive fillers just waste space. The entire construction process went very smoothly. All the trades i.e. electricians, demo, installers, carpenters, etc. were extremely professional and high skilled. Not once was I uncomfortable with any of the many workers in our home. The were not only respectful of us but also our home. Of course, with any construction job there will be hiccups. Please anticipate something not going as planned as this is a natural occurrence with any type of residential or commercial construction. The difference in companies is how the hiccups are handled. Whenever I had an issue, I called Susan at the office and she immediately spoke to Joe, the owner. Either Susan or Joe got back to me immediately with a more than reasonable solution. That's the difference between a good contractor and a bad one. Also, we had a deadline as we were expecting company. Always give contractors wiggle room as you never know if they open a box and a sink is dented or your countertops get dinged during transport. Stuff does happen! Joe was conscious of our pending company and met all deadlines we shared. At no time did I worry that the job would not be done. Also, there were no sub-contractors involved. All involved worked for C&C Construction and had nothing but praises for the company and all their fellow employees. Thank you, Joe, Susan, and the entire team who transformed our home! We love it! Southern Exposure repainted my house and the quality of workmanship was really terrible. One of…read morethe bathrooms by the medicine cabinet and a portion of the hall ceiling wasn't even painted, but it was too late as they were long gone.... Caleb was on the job towards the end of the project. Painters didn't even use dropclothes and the tile floor still has paint white drops all over it even after they washed the floor and I've tried at least 3 times and still there are white droplets. when I questioned Caleb about not using dropcloths, his answer to me was don't worry, it's water based and will all come up when we wash the floors. Well, that idea sure didn't work. Door hinges were all painted instead of taped off, which because I had to remove one, I had a hard time. Caleb put dark brown caulkind around all the base board instead of white as he said he was matching the tile grout. Tile grout is much lighter and baseboard now looks totally out of place, which means matching grout didn't come even close. Now, onto the postive as everything on a job can't be bad so the good is the following: Bruce did fantastic workmanship. Unfortunately he only did the trim, molding, doors and clean-up Crown Molding that Caleb and Bruce installed was perfect. As a final note, after given a price from a company they do work for, Caleb came back and up the price another $2,000 as he said that's what he needed though he was on the initial walk thru and pricing..... He knew I was under the gun and only had a few weeks to complete this work. They might be good on blinds, but watch out for home repairs. Caleb is smart in the field and he'll always have an answer. Reminds me of a salesman in some ways. He has good recommendations, but also has many excuses as to why somethings came out different then you may have thought they should...........
