Karl, the owner's son, was so helpful because, he was very confident in everything he advised me on, which made it completely easy to decide on choices, that otherwise would have been difficult for me to make. I was tired and worn out from having to make endless choices in very critical areas of restoring my Momma's home in N. Ft. Myers. He helped me pick out my products and told me it would look great, which it did! I am so grateful for his expertise and the time he took to help me in my decision-making! The vanities were gorgeous in my space, with great solid build quality, and the flooring Karl advised me on ended up being the perfect choice! The two matched perfectly, and I couldn't be happier! I want to tell folks that when I initially googled trying to locate businesses to purchase my vanity/kitchen cabinets from, Affordable Cabinets had a 4.8 score on their Google reviews. When I went back in the other day to purchase more from them, I asked Karl what happened to their score because it had dropped. Turns out, they took on a huge job that involved a large apt. complex or may have been a condominium with lots and lots of residents. They encountered unforseen problems, I understood, with one of their manufacturers in getting the orders in that involved this huge job. It wasn't anything they or their company did, and tried to let the people know what was going on and what they were doing to resolve the problems through the contractor that had chosen them for this massive order, but, they were not able to contact all these individuals separately to let them know that they were working on getting the problem fixed as quickly as they could and were no longer going to use that supplier. A few of the residents who, of course, were not working with them directly complained on their Google reviews, which made their score go down. I had not completed my review because of all the deadlines I've been under in helping my elderly Momma in the restoration of her home that was apocolyptically flooded by Hurricane Ian last year. I decided to help them set the record straight using my review to help when I heard what had happened with their Google reviews. They are absolutely a wonderful local family business who go above and beyond for their customers in every aspect of their business. They have super competitive pricing, amazing customer service, wonderful quality products they stand behind, and offer lots of help, including coming to your home for measurements at no charge, advice concerning your project and after sales support and guidance! You will not be disappointed if you support this awesome family business! I highly recommend this top-notch local family-owned business, and I thank all of them so much for all their help and guidance! My sales person Franz was wonderful and helped me tremendously both with selection and follow up…read more My reason for only 3 stars is the fault of the phone system and issues with the final installation. During the life of this project I've been unable to call scheduling. The phone rings, you get a recorded voice telling you no one is available, and the call disconnects. When you call customer service, you're on hold for several minutes and then you get to leave a message (but no one ever returns the call.) The sales service is great! Especially Franz; I was able to reach scheduling by going through him. I hated putting him in the middle but he always came through. During installation they had to disconnect the plumbing (obviously) but apparently it's not part of the service to reconnect it. I was unaware of this little glitch and Franz scheduled a plumber for the next day to re-connect everything. Unfortunately, during installation the installers did not leave us all the faucet parts and the plumber had to make a surprise trip to Home Depot for parts that should have been left on site. It seemed like one problem after another. I don't know what I would have done without Franz to make things right. So... sales team 5+ stars, phone system and installation, maybe 2 if we stretch it. Make sure to ask for Franz and make sure you have a full and complete understanding of what is and isn't included.
