Second time we were here and guarantee it will be the last. Husband ordered a "Lumberjack" which is a triple burger with no mayo- it came out with mayo. Took it back to the counter, it took them longer to prepare the replacement than the original and when it came out it was a double, not a triple. I ordered a BLT with no mayo. They got that part right but the bread was barely toasted and they used the heels of the loaf of bread (both slices!) to make the sandwich. The bacon tasted like someone washed their hands in cologne and then fixed the sandwich. It was an absolutely horrible experience. Spoke to the manager to her know of our disappointment. read more

Wow & Yummyliscious! Great fresh juicy hamburgers here. After reading several good reviews on Yelp we decided to stop by Angus Jacks on hwy 412 on our way home from a weekend trip. So glad we did!!! This is one of the best hamburgers we've had to date here in Arkansas. We will definitely be sure to stop here again when passing through Springdale. Food: The Hamburgers are freshly hand smashed. Seasoned and grilled to perfection with crisp edges and juicy centers. Almost every bite I took I had juice dripping down the side of my mouth, lol. My only complaint is there was only 1 small leaf of lettuce. There should be several on such a big burger. The buns have a cute AJ logo on them and are slightly toasted. The loaded fries are super filling & definitely loaded generously with cheese and real chopped bacon. 1 order can easily be shared by 4 people. Angus Jack is a locally owned burger joint. They are a little more pricier than their competition but I will gladly pay for something local. The burgers are fresh and taste great, the fries are hand cut. I recommend the hand spin milk shakes. This was my first time trying Angus Jack, it was extremely tasty. Burger appeared to be hand made (not a preformed patty) and tasted the same. Ever wonder why a place with such great reviews and delicious foods has one person eating inside at 6:45 pm on a Friday? The food is awesome... the service is nonexistent. There is nothing but teenagers in the building working. Not an adult in sight to teach them customer service. They all hang out in the back rather than be out front to take care of customers. I decided to stop in for a burger after seeing the "best gluten free burger in town" on their sign. Most of their wide variety of burgers are available on a gluten free bun so I selected one and ordered it, with fries and an unsweet tea. I was so afraid I'd be disappointed by the bun, as I frequently am. I need not have worried. They really do have the best gluten free burger around! It's not just a burger patty wrapped in or sitting on a bed of lettuce leaves. I don't know where they get their GF buns but it was one of the best I've had. i pulled up to the drive through at 6:00 & ordered my food. at 6:40 & i still haven't received anything along with the two other cars behind me. nobody seemed rushed inside or eager to get the orders out. i was trying to get the attention of anyone to see when it was coming out, and nobody seemed bothered enough to communicate anything to me. i ended up pulling in the lot, walking inside & patiently handed them my unused drinks, receipt and asked for a refund. after some deliberation between two girls, one of them came out to tell me i was unable to get a refund due to not having a manager on duty. she offered to take down my info, but at that point i felt like that was only dragging on something i didn't want to deal with; especially after spending $30 on some cold food. i ended up waiting for the food. i told them i was empathetic with being short staffed. but here's the thing. as a manager myself, please either train your employees how to do a refund if you're not going to be there or get more employees - or faster employees so people aren't waiting in a drive through line for forty minutes. nearly an hour late i finally got me & my boyfriends food who also said he won't be back. this experience was in part a downfall due to the lack of communication and fast work from the employees but honestly was a total downfall from management. i hope this is an encouragement to hold your employees to a higher level of basic customer service standards, to hire more people or to train them on how to do a refunds for nights like this. read more

My husband and I visited this place on our weekly shopping day, seeing that the pizza place that I wanted to go to seems to have gone out of business, sad!!! But on the bright side, the burger was great! I would say that it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. You start out reading a board menu, which includes a 6 or 12 pack of sliders, or a regular size burger, 1 or 2 patties. You then get to choose your sauce, toppings and, of course, a list of premuim toppings. You then decide if you want to order a side, fresh cut fries, sweet potato fries, onion strings, or onion rings. I went with the original Jack, which is a double patty burger and I had pepper jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, and pickles, the basics. I also added an order of onion rings. My husband had the same burger, with swiss, sauteed mushrooms and onion strings. He then ordered a side of onion strings. There was a problem with the ordering, the girl was new (as the place just recently opened) so she was still getting the hang of things, and when the order came out, he did not have his side of onion strings, or the onion strings on the burger. We walked to the counter and let them know and it was immediately taken care of. They brought him the burger back with a HUGE pile of onions on top and a HUGE pile on the side. It more than made up for the error. My onion rings were just your basic frozen rings, fried up and served. The burger was outstanding. It was perfectly cooked, seasoned and the ration of cheese to meat was perfect. My husband said his was amazing as well. IT was juicy and really well cooked. My complaint about his would be the onion strings. They were overly salty, with very little breading. They were good, but you could only eat a few before the salt was too much. I normally do not like "fresh cut" fries, but the ones that I saw other people have seemed to be crisp, which is a huge problem with fresh cut fries, they are normally not crisp at all. I will have to try that next time I am there. Overall, the burgers were great, the sides were "ehh" and the experience itself was alright. I do not like that they do not have combos, you have to order your sides and drink seperately, which makes everything more expensive. They are a bit pricey, but great quality. I would go back, but not make it a habit due to the cost. read more

I once got behind someone if it takes 6 min to cook a hamburger, and I get behind them with a pick up order then someone one is going to not be a happy camper. Just saying, I would personally take food out to people and have cars pull forward so everyone behind them can be taken care of quickly too! I would nix the onion strings., but my hubby say's the onion rings you were out of today are amazingly great! I think you are doing a really great job considering this is not a franchise and every business has a learning curve. Great flavors on the sauces Sweet potato fries are really good but not the best - (best is liberty burger in dalla) albeit mine came by delivery so may have lost a little in the time delay. Living the food and atmosphere! Nice owner but a serious lack of training. Young female cashier was New and just started asking us questions. We told her we were visiting here and had never been in. She asked a young man to help, twice, who just acted like he was in a different dimension. She was really struggling and trying and he just walked away. She kept asking questions we didn't know how to answer and by now we were ready to just leave so the owner came out to help us. The only down side was a comment he made about her walking away and not learning. As a customer I don't care to hear your internal problems. Best Gluten Free Burger! Teenage daughter has been gluten free for a several months for health reasons. She has been very disappointed in her "gluten free" hamburger options but is always hopeful when she sees one on a menu. She was NOT disappointed! Even the sides could be ordered gluten free. Went to eat at AJ last week with the family since it was a new restaurant to Springdale. We all ordered burgers and fries with cheese and the special AJ sauce on the burgers. Everything came out fairly quick, but it did not take very long to see the continual stream of grease running off the burgers. I ended up with 5 or 6 napkins under my burger that was soaked with grease before I gave up. The bun was mushy as it had absorbed all it could handle. The fries were not worth the $2.50 per order and the meal was definitely not worth the $32 for 3 people. I do not plan to make a return trip. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. read more
