I tried this spot at the Union Square Holliday Market and it blew me away! Really tasty Mac & Cheese!

GET THE LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE! I always saw the truck passing through JC night markets and decided to try out Archie's headquarters on Palisade Ave. love the inside vibes and their amazing selection of fresh made delights. While the lobster mac and cheese is expensive, it's hands- down the most amazing mac and cheese I've ever had. I've been enjoying Mac and cheese since I was 5 years old, so I've had a lot of good and bad versions. This one is piled with fresh lobster and the creamy cheese really gives it a kick. The server really knew about this specialty and had confidence in the unique craft of the order. I definitely want to come back to try more dishes!

Ordering food was pretty quick. We ordered the truffle fries and the angry lobster roll. Both were really good. The lobster was very fresh and served in a nice toasty bun.

UNBELIEVABLE! The food at this place is incredible. If I had more stars, they would get them all. Everything on the menu is better than the last. The crab cake sandwich is my favorite. I actually dream about it. The lobster rolls, a classic and always fabulous. The Mac and cheese and truffle fries are also amazing. They have a storefront in JC as well as multiple food trucks and can be found at most food festivals. The people are always friendly and accommodating. As with most seafood, this place can be very pricey. You may want to skip eating out for a few days in order to save up for a meal here however it is always worth it.

Decided to stop in over the summer because we needed our lobster fix! I'm glad we stopped in, location has seating and felt welcoming. We ordered a Lobster roll & Lobster Mac & Cheese - good! However a bit pricey for what you get? The pasta was cheesy but not my fav (I'm a picky Mac and cheese lover) and the lobster roll was very good - could have added maybe more lobster? Felt small. Anyways solid spot if you need your fix!

Angry Archie's has excellent lobster rolls and sandwiches. They have easily become my top food truck stop when visiting Pier 13 or any other local festival I've been to. I recently visited Angry Archie's at Liberty State Park. I ordered the "Angry Crab Sandwich." The toasted bun was perfect and the crab had a nice citrus flavor. The sandwich tasted fantastic! I will definitely be ordering this again sometime soon. The lobster rolls are on point as well. It's a nice ratio of seafood and bread. I'm looking forward to my next crab sandwich!

Angry Archie's food truck is one of my favs in Jersey. I know they have a restaurant, which I haven't been too, but I have tried almost everything from the menu at least in the food truck lol. Me and my friend definitely have our fav. The Crab Meat Sandwich . It's so good! We always hunt them down to see what events and festivals they will be at so we can go get our grub on. The service is always good. There is always a line to order food at the truck (wonder why?.. lol ) but it's worth the wait! These guys are great! Definitely love the Archie's family and their delicious food!!

New Angry Archie's spot in JC Heights on Palisade avenue. I know they have food trucks but this was my first time trying them. Small place, mostly to-go, but there are seats available if you're set on staying to enjoy your food. We stayed and tried: the 2 lobster rolls they offer (one with the mayo called "angry" and one with lemon butter "warm") and a chicken sandwich. Getting chicken at a lobster spot is strange, I agree, but it was not my choice so don't shame me. Also I don't like mayo so I can only speak on the "warm" lobster roll. Although I can say that by the look of it, the lobster in the "angry" roll looks more like shredded lobster salad. The lobster rolls are quaint which is typical, right? I don't eat lobster rolls often so I dunno. Think... potato hotdog bun. OK, maybe slightly larger. I'm not sure. I didn't even take a pic because they were so small and I was hungry so by the time I thought about it... they were gone. Upon arriving at our table, the lobster looked plentiful which was pretty and my "warm" lobster WAS in fact, warm, so that was good. But here's why I'm not rushing back here: 1- $20 is a steep price point for such a little sandwich and I mean, I get it... it's lobster and someone's got to pay the rent but I dunno if this neighborhood cares too much about $20 lobster rolls. But then again the way gentrification is set up in the heights... and the way these landlords are engaging in predatory behavior... there very well may be a clientele looking for $20 rolls. 2- the lobster didn't taste like lobster. There was a HINT of lobster and that was it. The lobster meat is all claw meat which doesn't give what lobster is suppose to give imo. I'd be ok paying $25 if I knew I'd at least get some lobster tail meat... but claw meat is whack. 3- the "brown butter" was excessive. TBH I'm not sure if it was butter or oil... the menu says brown butter but my taste buds said "Girl, I dunno." I also didn't taste ANY lemon which it desperately needed and looking back I realize the menu states that this sandwich comes with "lemon vinaigrette". The sandwich was so small that by the time my brain answered the question "hmmm what does this need?" I had already taken a few bites and only had one left so I didn't think it was worth it at that point. I'm glad that Angry Archie's is adding a different option to the landscape of dining options in the Heights but I'm not so sure I will become a regular here.

Angry Archie's food truck visited my workplace during lunch hours today. Their instagram is @angry_archies

Their food truck was parked by my job this afternoon, and I got the chance to order lunch from Angry Archie's with colleagues from work. While on line, I scanned the menu on the side of the truck - lobster roll, chicken sandwich, clam chowder, truffle fries... but then I saw it - POUTINE! I have a poutine problem. Poutine always tempts me. When I saw it was on the menu, had to try it. Even though poutine can be a hit or a miss. Fortunately, theirs was good... It kept in the cardboard takeaway box on my walk back to the office. Nice crispy fries with a generous portion of fresh lump crab on top, and sriracha aioli and creamy crab sauce cups on the side. I liked having the cups so I could choose the ratio of sauces - that sriracha aioli was my preferred between the two and ended up taking over my poutine. Overall, I was happy with my lunch. NGL it's a pricey lunch at $15, but it's a fair price for fresh and real crab meat. So Angry Archie's gets 5-stars from me. They are opening a storefront in the Heights by Fox & Crow, so looking forward to checking it out one of these days.

More 3.5 stars. Ordered delivery via DoorDash. When I opened the box with the "warm buttered lobster roll", I saw it was an empty hot dog bun with the lobster packed in a little container next to it and I thought that's it for $20? But I understand it was to keep the roll from getting soggy & once I filled the bun with it, it was actually a good amount of lobster. The taste was just OK though, and it didn't really seem like butter more like an orange-y oil. Wouldn't get that again. The "torn potatoes" had the mayo separate in the same way--glad it was since it was just plain mayo not garlic aioli and there was sadly no "herbed garlic butter" so I ate it dry. The potatoes themselves tasted kind of like breakfast home fried potatoes, pretty good. The double Mac & cheese was in a large container & pretty tasty. The lemonade seems they sent the regular lemonade not the "angry" one I ordered since there was no hint of jalapeño, and it tasted watered down. If ordering again I wouldn't get the lobster roll but I would be open to trying other items.

Can never go wrong with a lobster roll ! I've been meaning to try this location for a while but I'm never in the area. This weekend i saw them at a fest and had to indulge. Safe to say this roll is amazing and i can not wait to be back. Super flavorful and gets the tastebuds jumping.

Now when I was down at Harborside pre-COVID I tried stuff from their inside booth. Made me mad at work for the rest of the day. The soup was tangy. The crab cake fell apart. And I couldn't even go back out to complain or get a new lunch. Soooo when they showed up in my hood, I raised my brow. So 4 stars for this place is grrrreat from me. I've been back twice already. The crab cake sandwich is small but filling. Effort is put on every aspect of it to make it crispy, flavorful, and visually on point. I smile at it before I eat it. Don't fear it. It's awesome. I also love the soup! Creamy, silky, with chunks of perfectly diced potato & no itty bitty pieces of clam. So far I've only had those two. I questioned the mac & cheese, but I'm a simple gal, no toppings on my M&C. I don't eat lobster, so they would reeeeally have to impress me on that to change my mind. Love the decor. Nicely decorated to hang out a lil, or wait for the takeout. Only thing that makes me sigh is the price. I get it a little. Times, seafood, brick & mortar rent. But I'd be good if they gradually raised prices once folks got hooked. Buying from them is a payday treat, rather than a group hangout spot. Staff is nice & welcoming. Their smiles make handing over payment & handing back my takeout bag worthy of a 'Have a good day!" Go eat! But slowly enjoy each bite & get your seafood money's worth.

I have to come right out and say it-- I've never been so enthusiastic about a "take-out" place…read moreafter just 1 meal. Ever. At work, the Godfather wanted to order (unusual for him to suggest it; usually I'm the 1 pushing for us to order out, and he's invariably resistant, although ultimately, he's acquiescent, although just as invariably he blames me for "pushing him into it" as he gobbles down whatever food it was we've ordered). I was willing but wanted to try something different than our usual fare (burgers, Chinese, Japanese, sandwiches). Someone else mentioned Exotic Eats, as a younger co-worker had ordered from there recently and seemed to enjoy what he had eaten. I asked, "Does this younger co-worker have a discriminating palate?" (Not actually being quite the jerk I oftentimes seem to be, I did of course use less pretentious, overblown verbiage in asking my question.) The reply was, "He's young; he'll order almost anything and like it." So...it might be great; it might be horrible. So we took a chance. They deliver, and I was intrigued by their on-line menu. I can't remember what the Godfather ordered, or another co-worker who wanted us to include him in what had once been known as the Lunchbox Mafia, but I ordered "the Island Bowl." Sliced jerk chicken breast on a bed of Mac & Cheese with jerk BBQ sauce. Being hungry, I ordered a side of blueberry cornbread, and the dessert of banana pudding cheesecake. All of it washed down with my ever-present bottle of Poland Spring water. We didn't have to wait long for it to be delivered. As I mentioned in my introductory remarks, I found the food fabulous. The jerk chicken in its BBQ sauce had a tangy sting, but it wasn't unpleasant or pain-producing. And I have to say-- the Mac & Cheese was the best I've had since my late mother used to make it for me in childhood. It's a baked "dry" Mac & Cheese as opposed to the overly sauced (and bland) version you get in most restaurants these days (all it was missing was the crumbled crackers that my mother used to put on top of it). Pure deliciousness, as they say. The blueberry cornbread was the perfect accompaniment, and the banana pudding cheesecake was wonderfully smooth, creamy, and decadent. I wasn't feeling bloated to the point of discomfort once I had finished it all, but I definitely felt "well fed." My fellow partakers were equally as enthused. Prices were fair, portions were immeasurably more than adequate, and the meal was luxuriously satisfying on every single level. As mentioned, delivery didn't take long at all, and it arrived hot. I'm not entirely sure how to classify the cuisine. The website described it as "Soul Food" with a "Caribbean Spirit." A long-time friend of mine is Jamaican, and she used to throw a big feast for friends and family every summer (I was usually the only white person invited, which was never any sort of a problem, although once a little kid of 4 or 5 looked at me with hostility and said, "What are YOU doing here?"), before health issues sidelined that annual event. She was a great cook, and everything was fresh-- jerk chicken, fish, ackee that always reminded me of scrambled eggs, breadfruit, sorrel liquor, etc. Despite the quality of the food served, I never really acquired a taste for Jamaican cuisine (I ventured out once to a Jamaican restaurant in Perth Amboy with friends; they were enthusiastic about it but it wasn't of the same quality as my friend served, and obviously didn't transform me into a "fan"), but I don't know that Exotic Eats is Jamaican per se. But I know that what I had was delicious and filling, and I can't wait to order from Exotic Eats again. Obviously, very highly recommended.

Parking is atrocious in this development so to only pay $10 to be 10 feet from the door was awesome. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff know her well and treated her as a valued guest. Here's the rundown: We went for BRUNCH. They have a prix fixe for $41 of most of the brunch items and it includes 2 Bellini, 2 mimosas, or 2 Bloody Marys. Good right? Welp what you don't know is that their cocktail menu is incredible so to heck with the prix fixe. We got mimosas at home!! Between the 10 of us we got cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, coffee. Highlights: -Service was spectacular. Wesley was On It! By the time we finished eating there was another party of 10+ seated right behind us that he was servicing. I hope he enjoys the reward$ of his hard work! Make it rain on em Wesley! -Fat friendly seating. No arms, solid chairs, comfortable cushions. We were there for 4 hours and my booty was never sore. -Food. We tore it up and it was all delicious. My half of the table had the farm house breakfast sando, the fried chicken sando, French omelette, huevo rancheros. We shared the crab hush puppies, wings, calamari, goat cheese salad, and blueberry pancakes. I was nosey and saw that some of my other table mates ordered the skirt steak and eggs and the short rib. -Drinks. I know my husband loves mango so I suggested he get the smoked mango drink. I didn't know it came with theatrics. Dinner and a show?! Btw by the time our table was done almost everyone had ordered one. Lychee martini, Paloma, old fashioned, midnight espresso. Also all very good! -The View. Our party was too large to sit outside but we did sit right at the floor to ceiling windows. In between birthday wishes and food comas we watched the boats, jet skis, and undulating waves of the Hudson. Previous posters are correct - the place is pricey. But high key the people who live in that area are already paying a premium for everything else sooooo. Now, I DONT live in that area lmao so this will be a rarer treat for me. But I was happy to celebrate my cousin's birthday in a place that she loves. Awesome experience - I look forward to returning! 10/10 would put on a bra for this and walk downstairs lol

At the best part, selection and offerings do not disappoint. A bright and welcoming space, the store is stocked with various prepackaged goods, including unique items, such as black cuttlefish gnocchi. There is also a variety of refrigerated and frozen food options, including what looks like some very tasty cheddar crab dip. The highlight obviously is the fresh fish counter. Stocked with multiple types of salmon, more obscure fish, such as whole snapper, and tons of different types of shellfish. prices are reasonable and in line with what is to be expected. The diamond in the rough in this place is downstairs, where they have a raw seafood bar. You can get anything from West Coast and East Coast oysters, hot or cold lobster rolls, and various dips. Best of all, it's BYOB. So pack your bubbles and head on over to visit Jesus downstairs who will shuck you an experience not to be matched anywhere in Hoboken. Welcome Angelos! We are so glad you are here.

I was waiting patiently for this place to open because the area needs a good fish market. When I…read morearrived I realized that they had both a fish market and a raw bar downstairs to order to stay or to go. I have not tried the raw yet but surely will soon. This fish market is a great addition to the area and I was amazed by the variety of wild caught fresh fish they have. Their selection varies but for the most part I've been pleased. I've had the Dorado, Branzino, Faroe Island Salmon, the cod, and the monkfish. They have even had sardines which are my favorite. Fresh whole sardines are hard to come by. All of the fish that I had tasted good and was very fresh. The staff members are very friendly and are eager to help. They clean your fish and cut it however you like. Definitely a great experience if you're a fish lover like myself. I plan on going back to try their scallops and clams.

Great seafood, but our server completed disrespected us and our experience…read more We came to Molos for a special occasion, and what should have been a great dinner became extremely uncomfortable because of how our waitress handled her own pricing mistake. She told us the surf & turf was $95, so we asked several questions before ordering because, $95 is a significant amount. We decided to order it and have it split between two people, as well as the lobster pasta for some variety. Since I am the only one who eats lobster, the other person we were with was going to eat the ribeye, making it a perfect dish to split. We were then shocked to see $145 on the bill. When we questioned it, she admitted she had entered a larger portion by mistake. When we asked if anything could be done, instead of simply apologizing, she told us: "next time, you need to tell me you got a bigger portion." We were completely distraught. How were we supposed to know? We had never ordered the dish before and were relying on the description and price she gave us. The situation became even more upsetting when she asked about the lobster, found out it was in our takeout bag, and actually went into our takeout bag to pull it out and question whether we were going to take it home and eat it. We were so uncomfortable that we even told her she could take it back if she wanted, but completely drawing the line as she accused us of not speaking up after her mistake. We felt like we were being blamed and treated as though we had done something wrong, when the mistake was made on HER end. The manager Mike was incredibly kind and immediately corrected the bill. But it looked as if the waitress was trying her best to hide the mistake, and immediately rushed out after the manager saw how offended we felt. Unfortunately, the way we were treated completely overshadowed the meal. Mistakes happen, but making customers feel degraded over a mistake that wasn't theirs is unacceptable. We will not be returning.
