Recently we bought a townhouse with a ton of windows we knew were going to need to be replaced. As we have a custom color window and have to adhere to the association's rules, our choices of vendors was a bit limited. After much research, we had actually selected another vendor over Angle as our initial concern was that the bigger company could do the job cheaper and quicker. Boy were we wrong. SO wrong in fact that after 12 weeks of waiting with this other vendor AND them ordering the wrong windows, we got them to let us out of the contract (which I respect) and return our deposit. We went back to Angle and in 4 weeks, they ordered and installed better windows for LESS than the bigger company. But I would be remiss if all I did was compare speed and price as the crew from Angle is so much more. To say the guys were professional, courteous and downright polite couldn't begin to describe them. From the start to the very end, Dimitriy and the crew did everything to make us comfortable, explain what was going on, report back to us if they found issues and replace things as they went. No up charges to replace some rotten wood, no extra charges to cut and install casing. What we were quoted was what we paid. And given the size of the job, we appreciated that. The crew did an amazing job installing the windows so quickly and with such precision, we couldn't believe it. In two days they installed 17 windows, 2 sliding doors, replaced all the interior casing and capped all windows on the outside with aluminum capping to match our association's requirements. It took them TWO days. Two days! Ridiculous! Every corner of casing was perfectly cut. No caulk. Every window was cleaned when installed. Every crew member respected our home as it was their own. This was a major invasive job and we were so confident and relaxed the entire time. They even mopped the floors when they left! When you do such a major project like this and spend the kind of money it requires to be done right, you hope and pray you're going to get a contractor who does what they promise and delivers a high quality service.Angle Construction did not disappoint. Wow. I had gotten estimates from contractors to replace 5 windows on my 70's guest home over in the Pebble Beach area. The results were north of $8,500.00 dollars. That's $1,700.00 per window. Crazy. A contractor friend of mine mentioned window inserts and it just so happened I saw an advertisement for window inserts by Angle Construction in the Carmel PineCone Newspaper that very weekend. I called and left a message received a quick response from Tara the very personable secretary. Although skeptical I agreed to have an estimator came out . The next week the estimator met me at the home and was very pleasant, professional and quite frankly really new his products. The price was one third the cost of the contractor new window estimate! No tearing up the walls, saw cutting, dust , damage to the house. Although I was still a little nervous about this window insert versus new construction, I moved forward with the agreement. The measurement expert showed up the next week exactly on time and did a great job explaining the process of the custom made to order windows by Milgard. My wife has a second home and had a great experience with Milgards "lifetime warranty" on one of her sliding glass doors. Two weeks later their two installers arrived and started to work installing the windows. I had just painted and installed new carpets in the house and was very concerned about soiling the new carpets. They first covered the carpets with drop cloths and went to work. I was amazed at the installers efficiency. You could tell these two guys have worked together for many many years. Their installation was like watching fined tuned choreography. they started at around 9:00 a.m and finished just after 12:30. The windows previously were of the very ugly inexpensive brown anodized aluminum frame type. Now the entire window looked like new , dual pane, insulated, trimmed out . Fantastic. With the windows installed we stayed the night and next day and couldn't believe how quiet the house was due to the dual pane and insulation. I'm now getting an estimate for window replacement in my 60's home we live in full time in the central valley. This company rocks!!! read more

I am very pleased with my windows installation experience with Angle Construction. I browsed Nextdoor first, to see which businesses my neighbors had used for windows. I knew I wanted Milgard windows, to match the newer windows we installed in a past renovation in part of the house. I looked into retrofit vs. new construction installation. In the end I went with Angle, new construction, Style Line windows. The quoted price included tax, installation, upcosts, everything - no hidden costs. Very happy with the outcome. I chose windows configurations that matched the existing setup -- 6 windows, minimum size about 6'w by 3'h. From my decision day (pay 10%) to the install day (pay the remainder after) was about 3 weeks. They were installed over 2 days, a Friday and a Saturday. It drizzled intermittently on that 2nd day. The two gentlemen who performed the installation were very careful and hung a tarp from my side window to the fence, to shield my interior from the drizzle when there was no overhang. Moved and covered my furniture (and reversed this at the end.) Great workmanship. They were careful inside and outside, not to bring dirt/mud inside, or leave marks, or create new problems or work for me. Just very considerate, as though they were installing their own windows. The windows were trimmed with primered wood that matched the rest of the house trim. It is up to me to repaint that, once there is a dry period. I already notice that the house is quieter, and it does seems warmer with new double pane windows, although lower power bills will be the proof. I had to decide whether to keep the existing wired alarm system active, and whether to keep current window coverings (which they reinstalled) and external, decorative shutters. They talked to me on these topics as they progressed. We interacted with Kelli, Steve, Jason, and Gocha and his colleague (for installation). I am very satisfied and would happily recommend Angle, and these individuals, to others considering a windows upgrade. read more

We just recently moved to a place that desperately needed new windows and I honestly had no idea where to begin. My dad that lives in Salinas told me about Angle Construction he said it was local to my area and was raving on and on about how great and what a fantastic job they did at his house and that he went with them right away when he usually likes to shop around. My dad's a super picky person and just hearing how thrilled he was about what a great job they did I didn't even hesitate to reach out. My experience with Angle Construction was a 10/10 all around. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and did a wonderful job. I got a call back pretty quickly once reaching out and the price was very reasonable for all new windows, installation and getting rid of my old windows. The main guy I talked too named Jimmy was very helpful and answered all my questions and gave me an honest opinion about what series of windows I wanted for my area and house which I appreciated very much because again I know nothing about windows. I was very impressed by how quickly they were able to order the windows and have them installed it was quicker then the estimated time they gave me originally which was awesome because we got to fully move in faster than expected. The window installment was a breeze, two super polite and professional gentleman showed up and had the work done by mid day. Everything looked great and let me tell you it really transformed our little old house to a "wow this looks nice type place." The main office gal Leahna is also very personable and very helpful and easy to reach with any questions. I am really happy we went with this company I really like how they are not your typical sale pitch type pushy people, again I am very inexperienced with this process and I was fully comfortable and confident going with a company that is so personable and professional and does amazing work! I am SO happy to write this review. This is how businesses should be run. From start to finish the processes went smoothly, it was done professionally, and, with a sense of humor! Steve came to our house and did the evaluation and gave us his recommendation. Absolutely no pressure. He showed us the sample windows (2) and left the information in a folder for us to review. The windows came in as scheduled and at 9A.M. sharp, the installers were here. The lead installer was Teva (like the tea). He was amazing. Started right in and worked without stopping until 12 noon. Went to lunch, came back and worked until the job was done. He knew what he was doing, what had to be done and he did it. Another staff member who was key to this process going smoothly was Kelly. Kelly may well be the glue that keeps things running so smoothly. She answered every question promptly, completely and was friendly and she also had a great sense of humor. Trust me, she knows her business. Here are just a couple of things that would have helped if I'd known them. When they come to measure the windows, they do it from inside the house. One of my rooms was being used almost a a storage room while we did some room changing. He could hardly get to the windows! Also, when they install the windows, again, they do it from inside the rooms. Knowing nothing about window installation I thought it would be from outside. It would also have been helpful to know they bring all kinds of coverings. I didn't need to spent the time, and, use a lot of sheets and towels to cover things. The even covered the floors where they would be walking. They cleaned up as they went including vacuuming! This truly the very best company you'll find. This review is long overdue. My husband and I got bids from three different companies before we came across Angle Construction and we are SO PLEASED that we hired them! We needed 26 windows including sliding doors replaced in our home. Starting with the bid that Steve came and gave us he was so friendly, professional, straight shooter and actually took the time to explain and walk me through what exactly would be done to each window. As younger, first time homeowners we felt that he truly respected our wishes and helped educate us on different types of windows and what he suggested would work best for our home. He came so prepared had an extensive list of references, copy of license/insurance certificate, and gave me a bid during that meeting before he even walked out of the door. It was a no brainer. We then started corresponding with Kelli who works directly at their office and she was an absolute JOY to work with as well. She was always kind and was always communicative with us as to what was going on with our home. We actually had all the windows done when we were traveling and she had the team call before they entered our home and called when they were done for the day after they locked up. They also sent us pictures and a video of how to lock the sliding doors. We truly feel that they went above and beyond and we are so in love with our new windows, they look beautiful and the quality of work is magnificent. After a long time of high energy bills I had finally decided to replace my 40 year old single Payne windows to dual Payne windows. I'm always skeptical about calling contractors but I decided to call Angle Construction and they called me back right away to make an appointment. After an agreed date when both my husband and I were available,a representative came out and gave us an estimate. He was very detailed and accommodating with all of our concerns and questions. He provided me with all their license and bond information. He explained that their installation is guaranteed and Milgard also guarantees their windows. We decided to replace all 8 windows and 2 patio sliding doors. We chose the style line dual Payne windows and Tuscany patio slider doors. I've received other estimates and I was pleasantly surprised their pricing was very reasonable. I was expecting a long time for my windows to come in but they called to schedule the installation 4 weeks later. The crew came out and were very professional. I was concerned they would take all week and I didn't want to expose the house for that long but they were very efficient and from start to finish only took 2 days. The crew cleaned up after themselves and it was like they were never there. The windows were beautiful and I really like the narrow frames on my windows they have bigger panels of glass. Angle construction installed 9 milgard Tuscany windows in our 70 year old home that still had the original single pane windows in it. The difference in waking up in the morning to a house that's not freezing with condensation on the windows is amazing. Steve is very personable and friendly and worked with us to choose the best windows. We originally wanted a grid pattern in our Tuscany's but after talking with Steve we decided against it and we are sure glad we did the view from our new windows is amazing it's like a whole new house. Dean came to measure our windows and was quick friendly and efficient. Leahna was very friendly, communicative, informative and kept us up to date on our project timeline. Our installation team was a one man show! Demetri arrived on time and although he was on his own due to a coworker calling in sick, he got our old windows out and new ones in with the flair and efficiency of a ten man band. I'm not sure why he would even need a second guy except to make the install go faster. Steve was great! Dean was great! Leahna was great! Demetri was amazingly awesome! We love our new windows! My wife and I hired Angle Construction to replace 17 windows and our sliding glass door. I have been very pleased with the quality of the work and the integrity of the company. They made the estimation process painless and provided us plenty of time to make space for them and are accommodating to our busy schedules. The installation of the windows went extremely smooth. I was given clear instructions from the day we signed the contract. The value was UNBELIEVABLE compared to other companies who bid on our home, we saved 10s of thousands by going with them over the competition if you can even call them that. We got Milgard windows and doors and our house looks beautiful and is so quiet and it feels like we're looking through sunglasses when we look at our yard. The colors of our plants are vibrant and the protection from harmful UV rays is appreciated for our plants indoors. I highly recommend using them for your door and window replacement projects in our residential or commercial space. I run my own business and I was treated with respect and the installers Jason and Dimitri are top class pros. Angle Construction installed 8 Milgard windows plus a large Milgard French door. This project was on the 2nd story of our 2 story home. Through the entire process from estimating to installation, all employees showed up exactly at the time, and on the day, they promised. My husband and I found each of Angle's employees to be extremely knowledgeable, courteous and removed all debris from all areas. Their promotion was an added bonus to having an excellent, and much needed, project completed. Other companies may offer to install windows at a reasonable cost but seldom do they install quality windows and doors made by Milgard. Milgard guarantees their windows and doors whereas other companies leave the consumer to deal with issues. W Naming just a few of the employees that contributed to the success of our project would be Steve (estimator), Gary (project coordinator to measure for fit of new windows), Dimitri and Joseph (installers that very efficiently worked together as a team. We were very impressed!) We also want to mention Angle Construction's lead office assistant, Tara, that kept us in the loop. We were referred to Angle Construction by our realty agent when we mentioned that we wanted to replace the windows in the home we just bought. After doing some research and comparing prices, quality, and craftsmanship amongst many different companies, Angle Construction was the clear winner! When I contacted Angle Construction via their online inquiry, Leahna responded within an hour and was able to schedule Steve (the estimator) to come out and check out the project the next day! After Steve came out and inspected, asked, and answered all our questions, he arranged for Dean (the measurer) to come out and make all the exact measurements they needed for all our windows (19 in total)! Once ordered, Leahna kept us updated on progress of manufacturing and estimated time of delivery and install. The best part was, the windows were completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule! Angle Construction recently replaced 9 regular windows, 6 very large front windows and 1 sliding door for our home. I highly reccomend them, here's why: I had an enormous amount of anxiety about replacing every window in my home, this is after all a MAJOR expense. From start to finish, from the salesman to the installers to the office staff, everyone was more than helpful and friendly. My job was quoted and the process was laid out for me. Everything went exactly as planned, on time and on budget. The install took two days (since there were so many windows) each day they left, the work area was clean, as if they hadnt even been there! Upon job completion, my yard and home were left spotless. The guys even offered to help put my furniture back in place! The Milgard windows speak for themselves, they are a wonderful product. Angle Contruction had service to sell me and they hit the mark 100 percent. They completely held my hand and walked me through the entire process. We needed new windows for the house we recently bought in Oakland, and we wanted windows that kept to the original look of the house, which was built in 1932. After exploring the different window options, we decided on Milgard Tuscany windows, because they have a lifetime warranty and they were a good compromise in looks for the wooden windows they were replacing. There are many contractors that install Milgard windows, but we chose Angle Construction. From the beginning, we liked the people we dealt with. Jimmy, the salesperson, was calm, knowledgeable, and did not pressure us. Kelli who handled the paperwork, kept us informed of the status of the project. Dimitry and Denard, who did the installation, were wonderful. They had the windows completed in a few hours, cleaned up everything, and even used redwood trim to match the construction of the house. Angle was not the cheapest, but from the start, we felt that they would do the job right, which was definitely the most important consideration. I was talking to my brother about replacing my old windows and he referred me to Angle Construction.He told me about their add offer, then showed it to me. I said I didn't believe it and he replied he'd used them and was very satisfied. I phoned them on the spot and scheduled an appointment. Two sales people arrived at the appointed date and time. They were very professional and courteous.They went into great detail re the offer, warranty, window quality, described the process and left contact numbers. The installers arrived in timely fashion. They too were very professional. 8 windows and a slider were installed, heck they even went to the lumber yard for new trim around the slider. They removed all debris, wiped down all the windows and accomplished this within 8 hours. Patty the office clerk phoned a few days later and wanted to know if I was satisfied. I replied...."are you kidding? You folks did an exceptional job." And so they did all the way down to the follow-up. Great job Angle Construction. My house has almost 60 windows (57 to be exact) so needless to say, replacing our windows was a very scary and costly decision. Angle Construction actually made our decision easy. Every single person at this company is A+. Steve the sales person was extremely knowledgable and absolutely no pressure. He was around when I had questions about the bid and he was not bugging us when we were trying to decide. Kelli, the office manager was pleasant, knowledgable, helpful and always got back to me in a timely manner... no matter what the issue. And perhaps the best part of Angle Construction (as if I needed any more reasons to go with them) was the installers, Dimitri and Denard. These guys were amazing. What a great experience! We absolutely echo the sentiments of Bruce M. and Katie L.. We were looking to upgrade all of our windows and sliding glass doors to dual pane. The Angle representative who came to our house answered all of our questions and even demonstrated the process that would be used...this was very helpful, especially given our concern for the stucco siding (no problem). The quote was clearly laid out and explained with no subsequent "surprises". The actual installation process went exactly as planned...detail measurements were done on the day promised and later when the windows arrived (earlier than expected) the installation crew came right out. Angle promised that the installation would take 2-3 days and it was done in two. The installers were very professional and efficient, along with being personable. Bottom line...the windows and doors look terrific while operating smoothly...couldn't be more pleased. We should also mention that the office staff always got back to us promptly to answer questions...and even checked back with us to make sure we got what we needed...a very high level of customer service, indeed. read more
