I usually just order the combination pho here and unfortunately it's really hit or miss... the broth will be flavorful one day but the next time it's bland and totally different. I really want to like it here since their customer service is great and they're one of the only places in the AV that offer pho, but it's just too inconsistent and nothing to write home about. I'm hoping they can improve this though because I really think they can become THE staple pho spot around town if they just made a few changes to their recipe! read more

This is my go to place for pho, but the disrespect I've received this morning was very distasteful and disappointing. I ordered the chow fun noodles which came to me with minimum seasoning and seemed to be not fully cooked. Due to it not being to my expectations I kindly went back in to possibly talk about exchanging the meal or getting. Possible refund. The man (possible manager) was very dismissive, passive aggressive,rude, and raised his voice at me. I love this place but I will not tolerate being disrespected as a customer and consumer. I went to get Pho because I was craving it. I found this spot on Yelp which had fairly good reviews and ratings. I ordered the #20 with Steak and my boyfriend ordered a type of steak with sauce and rice. With the pho it was okay. The bowl or the broth smell kind of off, Tasting like dishwater. I wasn't much of a fan of the noodles either. It was very chewy and a different taste. I am no Pho expert but this is the first place I have tasted the Pho to be off. I tried my boyfriends steak and you can tell the meat was frozen prior. It was still cold in the middle, very very VERY tough and chewy, and no flavor. The only good thing that saved it was the peanut sauce that comes with it. I am not sure if we were just unlucky that day but I would not go back to this place. Since my last review, I want to change to 2 stars The chow fun was sweet, juicy chow mein with fat noodles. Chow fun doesn't come with American broccoli . Not sweet or liquid juice. So disappointed. We finally got to eat here today! The food was wonderful. We shared spring rolls, chicken with basil, and chicken curry. The curry was a savory coconut curry with perfectly cooked vegetables (carrot, green beans, onion, red and green peppers). They were tender, but not mushy. The spring rolls were fun and beautiful, but only the dip had flavor. The chicken with basil was also deliciously spicy, but a bit on the oily side. The rice was plentiful and perfect. We took leftovers home, as the portions are generous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was friendly and the ambiance relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My only complaint is that there is no menu to read in hand. You have to order from the large menu behind the counter, and my husband and I both had trouble seeing it clearly! Still, we will back again. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef Pho and the chicken wings. I loved both. Since I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted the spicy or lemon pepper wings, they mixed them for me...that was a very good call. I highly recommend that. The young man bringing me my food was very kind and replaced my order when I realized that I had ordered the beef stew instead. Have to downgrade from 5 stars to 1. We called this place a few times before trying them, asking about their vegetarian options, making sure they dont use fish sauce. Every time we went there we reiterated that we do not wish fish sauce in our foods. After weeks and months, one time when the female cook picked up the phone, she said all their stews have fish sauce in them by default and it is impossible for them to make it vegetarian. Tonight dad was supposed to save dinner and that was not possible with this excuse for $19.83 combination chow mein. Ordered to go and paid. Once I seen item with my boys I contacted the person at the register, her response to me telling her there was a mistake was "that's yours and how we make that item."
