I love that it is personal rooms. You take a shower before and after. I was nervous at first but ended up falling asleep the ear bud did move so I did get water in my ear and a little in my eye. The salt water is really strong but they do provide water and a towel if this happens. I did sleep really good the next couple of nights. I think I'd have to give them another try. My main symptom is pain with sitting, and with an out of state conference coming up we were motivated to get me well. After only 2 months with Dr. Wu and doing the prescribed home exercises, I was able to take a cross country flight (with one layover) pain free. I had essentially no pain at the conference, and only had pain on the 5 hour direct flight home. This was far better than I had expected. I got too confident after this, and played competitive basketball for a few hours and messed everything up again. I could hardly walk or sit for more than a few minutes the rest of the week. At my next appointment Dr. Wu adjusted me and I felt 50% better instantly and was able to facilitate a 2 hour meeting at work the next day. Today, the pain is still here but we are definitely making progress. The relief gives me hope and the hope gives me motivation. CBD Float Session w/ CBD Gummies and I highly recommend! It was our first time and I was a little nervous but we had a quick instructional video we watched and staff walked us through everything and answered all questions. Now for the actual experience, you do shower first and you can bring a bathing suit if you'd like as well but each room for your session is private so it is optional. You shower before you go in and make sure you use the earplugs since you are going to be floating so to avoid it getting in your ears. There's an option to adjust the lighting and sound and to even turn it all off if you prefer a more sensory deprivation experience. You can change your selection throughout which was really nice so you can try all the different modes. One thing to keep in mind is that it is like a bunch of salt (think your at-home epsom salt TIMES A THOUSAND) so it can be a bit of a different texture at first but you can always slightly open the door and they have a spray bottle for just water or if you just need some air at any point during your session. For me, I think a good session would be about 60 min. The full 90 min. was definitely nice but I think about an hour in my mind was beginning to race a little so I think an hour is perfect! Facilities were very clean and the complimentary tea was so lovely and the staff were so kind and helpful! Highly recommend plus they have a variety of different services that I can't wait to check out!!!
