At Ming's, we have found a place where it's like having a friend or family who can check things out and tell you the truth. I brought my car in for some sputtering and was not able to leave it, but Ming and his crew checked it out just to make sure I'd be ok driving it until I could. He did not charge me. It was the most refreshing nod to honesty and goodwill that I have seen in awhile.

In your first interaction, you'll be able to tell that he sees and treats you as a person whom he wants to help. My cousin then referred me to Danny and he took care of it for under $200! If you want an honest mechanic who'll treat you like family, go to Brothers Motorworks. There's a reason why all the Yelp reviews are 5 stars.

I've taken all 3 vehicles for different things over the last 6 months and have been amazed at the great service, quality repairs, and honesty. When I take my car to most places, I always expect them to come back with a laundry list of other things they say we need. OK Auto has actually done the opposite. There have been 2 times that I've gone in, requested a service, and when they call me they let me know that it wasn't what I thought initially and it has come out hundreds of dollars less each time. This is the only place I'll be going moving forward! You should try them too.

We recently had work performed on my daughters 2014 Jeep Patriot. Wright's got it in quickly and…read moregot the work done that was necessary (wheel bearing hub assembly and intake manifold). The Jeep passed Emission Testing a week later (yeah!) and is running well. We still "heard a noise" and brought it back for another inspection. The Wright Team inspected the Jeep and determined that an inexpensive repair by the former owner (strut assembly) was causing the noise. They determined it was not a safety issue and advised we could wait, or repair. I appreciated their honesty as my goal is to provide my youngest daughter with a safe vehicle to use in College. Wright could easily have told me "it's a safety issue" and I would have paid for the repair but they were honest, and they have earned my business for many, many years. If you need an honest and very capable repair shop, THIS is the place.

I really wanted to give a positive review because the brake pad replacement itself went smoothly,…read morebut unfortunately the experience took a turn afterward. When I went outside after the service, I immediately noticed a lug nut was missing. After looking closer, I saw that the wheel stud itself was broken - which I know for a fact was not damaged prior to the repair. When I contacted the mechanic about it, he did not deny breaking it and asked me to go purchase a new stud and lug nut, which I did right away. He said he would return to install it, but after that point communication became very unreliable. I texted several times with no response. When he finally replied "yes" to confirm he would complete the repair, he still never followed through. Since then, my messages have gone unanswered. On top of that, he told me the broken stud was "no big deal" and that he knows someone who drives around with multiple broken studs - which was extremely concerning to hear from someone responsible for vehicle safety. I don't feel comfortable driving with a broken wheel stud, and the situation has been left unresolved. I wish this could have been a positive review, but based on the lack of accountability, poor communication, and safety concerns, it cannot be.

Most people dread going to a mechanic, but it seems clear to me that these folks want to do two things: 1) They want to take care of cars. 2) They want to take care of their customers. So the only downside to visiting Far East is that there's not much of an indoor waiting area. There is no free wifi (that I'm aware of), and no free coffee, no nearby café, and no Snap-On posters with half-dressed people holding socket wrenches covering the walls. But you know what? I don't need those things. (Except for maybe the posters.) I don't need those things because it seems clear that I'm always going to walk out of this place with my car in better shape than I left it. And it seems clear that the folks behind the counter are going to give it to me straight. They have been thorough in their assessments, and absolutely superlative in their communications. Next time I go, if you could pick me up and take me to a café, I'd greatly appreciate it.
