I was sorry to see that so…read moremany of my favorite stores were no more, but the mall has been updated somewhat and is still quite nice. If you want to shop in San Angelo in the summer without melting away, this is the place to come. I was sad to see how fewer choices there were, though. JC Penney, Dillards and Marshalls are the big anchor stores. There definitely needs to be more food choices (oh, how I missed Karmelkorn from the late 80s!) and some more variety in shopping, but it's a much more comfy way to spend a few hours than driving around, parking, shopping, driving around, parking..... What's disturbing is that so much space has been given over to services like cell phones and military recruiting. Those will not attract high foot traffic, families, teens or even the college crowd. Please, management, add more retail, especially women's clothing. There's an Ulta, but a Sephora would be nice. Upgrade, please! What about adding an ice rink or roller rink?

Well, hold on to your hats and grab your binoculars, because this review is about to take you on a…read moreraunchy yet exhilarating journey into the realm of camp fashion! Let me just start by saying that my recent visit to this clothing store was a downright "camp"-tastic experience. Brace yourselves for a wild ride of humor, jaw-dropping style, and the most unexpected names for sons. First things first, let's address the elephant in the room, or should I say, the leafy green in the name? Kale? Yes, my friends, the universe has conspired to bestow upon someone the name Kale, and he happens to be part of the dedicated team at this store. Kale, if you're reading this, please know that my skepticism was quickly replaced by admiration for your ability to rock an unconventional name. You're a trendsetter in more ways than one! Now, let's get down to business. I walked into this camp clothing oasis and was immediately greeted by the dynamic duo, Preston and Kale. These two should have their own buddy comedy sitcom because they had me in stitches from the get-go. Their energy was infectious, and they effortlessly morphed into the dynamic kale-kicking duo that this store so desperately needed. Preston, oh Preston, where do I even begin? His knowledge of camp fashion was as impressive as his dance moves. Who knew that the perfect way to sell a rodeo shirt was through an interpretive dance routine? He wowed me with his impeccable rhythm and a fusion of country and camp that I never knew I needed. Let's just say he roped me in with his moves and lassoed me with his charm. Bravo, Preston! But let's not forget about Kale, the man with the name that defies all expectations. Despite his leafy moniker, he was the epitome of cool. Kale's styling suggestions were a breath of fresh air, and his enthusiasm for all things camp made me feel like I was living in a comedy sketch. Who needs a regular name when you can be the center of attention with a name that doubles as a salad ingredient? Way to embrace your inner kale, my friend! Now, onto the star of the show: the rodeo shirt. I am convinced that this shirt has magical powers because the moment I put it on, I felt like a cowboy riding a unicorn through a forest of glitter. The attention to detail, the vibrant colors, and the clever design left me speechless. It's the kind of shirt that makes you want to shout, "Yeehaw!" from the mountaintops and swing from chandeliers while waving a lasso. It's the pinnacle of camp fashion, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The store itself is a treasure trove of campy delights. From flamingo-patterned socks to feathered hats that could rival the peacock's plumage, they've got it all. The staff's hilarious banter, their genuine passion for camp fashion, and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction truly sets this place apart. In conclusion, if you're looking for a clothing store that will make you laugh, surprise you with its unique namesake, and provide you with the coolest rodeo shirt known to mankind, this is the place to be. Preston and the Kale-Kicking Crew will sweep you off your feet and transport you to a world where camp meets comedy. So, put on your wildest outfit, summon your inner camp diva, and head straight to Happy Trails immediately.
