Tyler the owner is really nice to visit with and if you are looking for something special or unique he can probably get it for you. We were wanting a vintage light for our home office and Tyler brought one in and it was just what we were looking for. Just visited my favorite vintage store in Texas today! Every time I find myself in San Angelo I try to make a day of it and go to Madstyle. Outstanding selection, great prices and excellent service. My sister started and has expanded her supercute collection of flamingo bar ware and I have found multiple gifts and trinkets over the last few years. This place is legit and soooo not what I was expecting to find in SA! We visited the hometown for Thanksgiving and, on a whim, I decided to look for some MCM furniture for a rental house I'm remodeling where I live. Madstyle got great reviews and, based on the Facebook posts, it was obvious that the owner has excellent taste, so I had to drop in. The store is massive and filled with all kinds of goodies. Each booth has a different feel. Some booths were a little overpriced, yet others had awesome deals. Most of the items I was interested in weren't priced so I pointed them out to the lady behind the desk and she was kind enough to track the prices down for me. When I came back the next day each item had been clearly tagged. After checking out the owner asked if I had seen the "project room," which I hadn't. There was some incredible stuff back there!!! I ended up doubling my purchases and he was kind enough to help us get the goodies out the door to our vehicle. Overall, this store is amazing and I'll be sure to drop by again when I'm in SA. read more

Madstyle Vintage is literal, actual magic. I don't know how they do it, but they seem to rustle up some of the most interesting and inspiring vintage pieces I have ever seen, and I travel around quite a bit. Quality mid-century modern is getting harder to come by in good condition, and this store competes with (and outpaces) some of the best shops in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Pristine and uniquely made fur coats, rad old signs, an excellent and vast LP selection, leather goods, the BEST lamps (Please do NOT leave this store without an amazing lamp)...just a breathtaking assortment of my favorite eras of fashion and decor. Hats off and round of applause to the store owner, who obviously works extremely hard to bring this kind of creativity and quality to San Angelo. Can't wait to visit again! read more

So thankful that Madstyle Vintage is here in San Angelo! Wasn't sure what to expect at first but I was definitely surprised by the VAST COLLECTION and the QUALITY of the shop! Seriously there's just so much in the shop that you'll never know what to expect! Various antiques, classic art, mod furniture, classic western wear, vinyl records, lamps and rugs, I can go on and on. What I especially loved was the compassion and enthusiasm of the store owner. I used to like this store but something has drastically changed. The store is cluttered & packed with stuff, a lot of it isn't priced. Good luck getting anything delivered on time. Good luck getting any phone calls or texts or messages responded to. You either give money and wait forever for the items to be delivered or you inquire about something and never hear back. Store frequently opens late. This place is going downhill, fast. I really want to give my money to small businesses but I just can no longer support this one. Too many negative experiences with no communication, ive told many friends to stay away and support other stores in the area. i know I'm not the only one feeling this way because this store is empty and free from customers almost all of the time when I visit now - what is going on? read more

This is a super fun retro and vintage shop. They always have a lot of variety available. A good amount of vintage furniture, home accessories, decor, art, and even some vintage clothing and handmade jewelry. I rarely leave this shop without a super cute purchase and love visiting for fun and inspiration. The staff is also super friendly and have always been fun and professional with me. read more

Absolutely great place! The store is laid out wonderfully and is easy to look around in. The woman at the desk was friendly and gave me a business card and let me know about their internet resources (website, Facebook and Instagram) the prices are very reasonable and the whole store is in good shape for the age of the merchandise. I absolutely adored this store! It was, by far, the coolest antique shop I've visited, in some time. 4 stars because the Coffee Pot I purchased did not work. I know, what can you expect from a 50's/60's coffee pot, but I really wanted it to work. Lol I'd definitely still return and so should you! read more

Thoroughly enjoyed myself! This store is great. Lots and lots of vintage throwback items. Right out of Mad Men.. Hence the name. Awesome decor and good furniture. I love how it's arranged by era. I could walk around this place for hours. The only downside is the condition of some of the items. Some are In great shape, while others are not and yet the price does not reflect the wear. I get that it's vintage, but holes in couches and cushions should yield a good discount. read more

I should have taken a picture. All the pictures here don't do justice to the look and feel of this vintage shop. It's been repainted, reorganized and all the items are so well placed that in certain spots you feel like you walked onto a movie set of your favorite 70's film. Wonderful clean vintage items without the smell of "old". I am very pleased with my purchase. read more

This place is really cool. It doesn't really feel like an antique store.. but more like you're walking into a retail store from the 70's. It doesn't have that old Timer feel to it, which I like! They have a good selection of vinyl records which I go there for and also being a U.S. Coin collector, they have an amazing selection of those too. My go-to place when I'm not sure what I want to buy! I always find something cool to go home with. read more

I really did want to like this store but I have to say they have terrible, awful costumer service. Avoid!!! You would think with Etsy and Ebay and other antique store competitors out there, this store and its owner and manager (grumpy woman) would do a better job to be nice, helpful and appreciative of their costumers. They really do have cool stuff in the store but it's not worth buying if you have to deal with the employees. Not even a "thank you" for your purchase. The manager was just annoyed the whole time. read more
