This store looks like they typically have lots of great fresh produce. They have a wide variety in terms of selection. They have dine-in available, which I found helpful and was grateful for. I was also grateful that they have prepared meal options, including sushi. The prepared meal options aside from sushi looked great, e.g., Italian dishes, salmon, chicken meals. One of the best kept secrets since they opened this store. Rarely crazy busy , plenty of parking and staff that are always kind and helpful. The other Caputos in Elmwood Park is usually packed with a parking lot which can sometimes be a bumper car event. The Norridge store is awesome read more

Moldy grated cheese, anyone? A month ago, I bought a big canister of grated parm only to find a huge mold ball inside. I tossed it and bought another-a smaller one. Serving my wife dinner tonight, what do we discover but a giant wad of mold in the canister! I'm considering a lawsuit. I certainly will not be purchasing La Bella Romana products ever again. My favorite grocery store, whether at home or visiting family in the SW Suburbs. The produce is extraordinary and the Italian delicacies fill my heart with amore. My native Italian grandmother and mom would have loved this place. It gets the seal of approval from all the women in my immediate family. Wide selection of pastas, great deli. Some of the worst produce I've ever seen, especially compared to the other location. In the mood for limp greens? Bam! They got em. Stale Italian bread (four day old "freah" bread), wrapped in plastic with simultaneously soft, chewy crust and stale white interiors? Get over here! We got em'. Manager unrelenting useless in customer service, shouldn't be a manager in the first place. Sent out a driver with only one item while rest of delivory order was left back at store. Would not return any kind of compensation nor was sorry for mistake. Called DoorDash, whom started to return my money, and Caputo's reversed the compensation back in their favor. I spoke with Dominic at this Norridge, IL store. Unforgiveable behavior as a so called manager. read more

Wow what a huge gem in Chicago! Fresh fruit and veges and they wash them so they are clean. They have international foods like Lithuanian and Polish and Asian items along with fresh cheeses and meat and fish. They have many Italian items imported from Italy and they also sell Italian cookies. I love this market. It's clean, smells of fresh food and bread and there is so much here you could be here for hours. Great part of the neighborhood. read more

A brand new location in the heart of Norridge and Harwood Heights! Great looking store with fresh produce, deli, sushi bar, coffee, fresh juice, sandwiches, lots of pastries, and hot food. Such a great variety and reasonable prices. The staff was so attentive and they have self service checkouts for 15 items or less. Today was the first day they are officially open, and the pastries are delicious! The fresh juice is delicious, and the hot food bar has such a great variety. read more

Also, the concept of an sit down area for customers in the store is not to place Slot machines in the same place. The Elmwood Park store is the best. read more

Avoid placing cake orders at Caputo's. I ordered a marble cake with fresh strawberries and whipped creme. The cake I got had no strawberries and hardly any chocolate cake. I personally think Jewel cakes are tastier and made to your specifications. I haven't had any issues ordering at Jewel's. read more

I've always loved this chain but recently had their Asiago bagels from the bakery section. Wow! They are some of the best I've had.

Nice big new store (local chain) with wide isles. The staff is friendly and helpful. As with all stores, shop the sales and stock up. This will be a regular grocery store for us. read more

The service at the deli counter......feels like prank. One person providing service and three to ignore the five people in line. The person who cares asks for help and one of them slowly wander over to help? Nope! She wandered over to ask why other people weren't there to help then wander off to do nothing behind the cookie counter where there are no customers to bother here. Pros - Good looking produce. Meat counter is a little small, but the meat looked very good. Employee's seemed to be trained well and were friendly. Cons - Expensive! Watch the prices. Pre-made food items were outrageous. $20 for a Pepperoni pizza you have to bake yourself? I get its a brand new store, but their prices seem to be more than Marinos and just below Whole Foods, so don't be surprised. read more

I shopped here Saturday afternoon, the place is very clean and well organized. The prices on the produce is much better than Jewel, especially the tomatoes. The only problem was checking out, some goofball threw a bag of flour onto the checkout counter and it broke open spilling the flour on the conveyor belt and on some of my bags. Best advice: shop after 7pm, even on Saturday nights, it's much less crowded. By the way, while there, stop for gas at the Shell station in front of Caputos, gas is much less expensive there. read more

For $8.95 it was named incorrectly; should have been chicken flavored pot pie as there was only a few minuscule pieces of chicken that were so small they weren't even identifiable. read more

5 stars all the way thru! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and assisted by a very kind woman (Sherri) with a grand tour and received top end C/S with looking for items. The bakery is spot on and everyone working there is friendly and helpful. The food quality is also quite good and will be going back soon. Way to go Caputos!! read more
