I'm glad that "Adrian's Fresh Market" exists in the neighborhood because often times I just want a few items for the week and I want to have the shopping done quickly and without having to drive.
Adrian's is designed to serve the neighbors for their quick needs, last minute items, and etc. The items sold here, for the most part, are hispanic-focused. With that being said, if you try to look for particular, major name-brand goods, it is best to be directed to large-scale supermarkets.
Their kitchen also serves tacos and tortas! However, you would want to get there before 6pm. I think one time my partner got to Adrian's right before the cutoff and was turned away. Anyways, I had their asada and pastor tacos and they were very good considering they came from a neighborhood grocery store. Spicy green salsa and lime wedges were included as well.
My mom was a regular to Adrian's since she didn't want to go far to get her daily groceries whenever she came and visited me in Chicago. She would sometimes get the pozole rojo on the weekends and I personally enjoyed it as well.
Overall, the existence of "Adrian's Fresh Market" has been a wonderful experience for the neighborhood residents. We will certainly continue to patronize this business. read more
