Allied Wrecking Boston made a difficult process much easier. They handled the demolition of my garage, cleaned up the entire area, and did an excellent job from beginning to end. They were professional, responsive, thorough, and respectful of the situation I was dealing with. One thing that really stood out to me was that they even pulled the necessary permit for the demolition, which was one less thing I had to worry about during an already overwhelming time. The quality of their work and their willingness to take care of the details really made a difference. They showed up, did what they said they would do, and left the property clean and ready for the next step. I would absolutely recommend Allied Wrecking Boston to anyone who needs demolition, fire cleanup, or similar services. It completely soaked the cabinet below my sink and, of course, ran into my finished basement. I found this business on Yelp and contacted them. They came right out within a day or so and conducted a damage assessment. From there they handled all the processes and paperwork with my home Insurer. The crew was prompt each of the two days they worked at my house, were quite respectful of my property (wore booties to protect the floors, etc.) and removed all the damaged material safely. They have a very knowledgeable staff, provided excellent advice, customer service and kept me informed along the way. Once I contacted them, I really didn't have to do too much of anything, as they took care of the necessary procedures, including keeping my insurer appraised. I don't know about the overall value as far as price is concerned, since my insurer handled this directly with them, and covered the expenses. My insurance accepted their assessment right away. I will note that my Insurance Representative was pleased with their service and was already familiar with their work, so that says a lot about their integrity and reputation. If you have water or any other damage to your property, this is a great place to call for outstanding assistance!

We had the worst experience working with this company. The manager, Kevin is a fast talking…read moresalesman and very disrespectful to his staff. As a homeowner, we trusted that they would abate our asbestos safely and follow proper protocol. After they finished the job, our electrician discovered that they left large quantities vermiculite in the attic and wall cavities and purposely stuffed fiberglass insulation over the vermiculite to intentionally hide it from the inspectors. These areas were easily accessible to their workers and could be reached by their equipment (and easily visible to our electrician). They lied and said the vermiculite was removed from these areas. I suspect that his workers had been trained to purposely cut corners to save time and hide their incomplete work. This was a shocking discovery. They put our health and that of our contractors in great jeopardy by leaving this cancerous material so easily accessible. When I called to have them come back to fix the problem and finish the job, fortunately they did return. However, then we had to witness Kevin yell at his workers, blaming and shaming them for the problem. It was completely inappropriate and a bit staged. I will never work with them again, and would never recommend them.

We went this morning and my husband was hoping for around $75 for our truck full of metal. We were pleasantly surprised when the grand total came to just under $240. Obviously if you clean and separate your copper pipes, you're going to get more than if they are lumped together with other materials.
