Angela is amazing!!! When I went in I had an unstyled mess with several inches of damaged hair and no idea how to style it. I explained my "routine" to Angela and she took a few minutes to look at and mess with my hair in it's natural state. We talked about what I wanted to put into my hair each day (little to no work) and what I wanted it to look like (professional and fun). Angela came up with a suggestion that gave me all of those things. Because I had no idea how to use a blow dryer to style my hair or what brush to use, Angela took the time to show me and talk me through it. After cutting my hair she showed me how to style it for a more fun and edgy look or a sleek and professional look. She was incredibly patient, helpful and has an eye for detail!!! The conversation was comfortable, like talking to an acquaintance or friend instead of small talk or gossip. She didn't push any products. Her prices are reasonable!! I was nervous going in but watching her do someone else's hair (I was early) and than talking with her before starting mine really put me at ease. I left very happy and am a customer for life!!! It's been YEARSSSSSSSSS since I've had my hair done ! I am so self conscious about my hair because it is scarily thin. I skimmed through yelp to see if I could possibly find someone with an eye & someone who would be helpful. (I didn't want to get a pixie cut if it wasn't good for my face frame) I was ready to chop it all off and call it a day. Like a best friend, every woman needs a great hair stylist in her life. Angela is that woman! I have never been into a salon that is so relaxing and feel as though I can truly let my hair down (pun intended!). How many times have you gone into a salon and described what you were looking for and ended up getting something polar opposite?! This was my first appointment with Angela. I haven't gone to a new hair stylist in a very long time. I first want to point out the convenience of setting an appointment online. It allowed me to see what day/time were available to fit my schedule. Upon arriving for the appointment, she was very welcoming. I came in with very long hair (went to my lower back) and asked for a inverted bob . During the haircut, she explained the different products she used and gave me great advice on how to apply it to my hair if I purchased it. When I came to Angela my hair was a mess. A couple months prior I had a bad hair cut along with a Brazilian Blowout that didn't last. My fine, curly hair was thinned out and choppy. Angela was amazing. Her attention to detail was incredible. She spent more time than planned and the results show. She needed to take off more than I wanted to even it out. I ended up loving the cut she gave me. I may even keep it this length. I also got a Brazilian Blowout and after 3 weeks I am still loving the results. Angela totally came to my rescue when I had tried to go blonde and ended up with streaked green hued highlights! Angela did a amazing job on my cut and color last Friday! Almost 5 inches cut off ( I was a little in shock lol) but needed a fresh start for spring. She was very welcoming and I loved how I was updated on my E-mail about my appointment. She offered sparkling water ect which was so nice.
