I first bought hair extension clip ins , when I got home I couldn't figure out how to use it. I contacted her and she was so accommodating and said I could exchange it for something else. I was looking for something to extend the length of my pony tail and she mentioned that she will make me a custom pony tail extension and she made me one in under a week . I wear it everyday and no one even knows it's a extension. Thank you Emma for making my life easier and for making me have confidence again . My mother has been affected by hair loss for at least the last 15 years. We popped in on a Saturday afternoon (they are closed Sundays and Mondays) and were blown away by the selection and service. Sierra assisted us for THREE hours. Had I known the process was this lengthy, it would have been wise to book an appointment but all worked out. Seirra was patient, informative, and knew just what to suggest. I will say that there are stairs here - it's a house, not a typical business so that was an issue for my mother who was limited in her ability to go inside and outside (to view the wigs in natural light). Most of the wigs come in a variety of colors/highlights so don't think just because you don't care for the colour of a wig but like the style that you're out of luck. Their website is quite extensive and a good first stop: http://www.thewigboutique.com/index.html They've been around since 1965 so you know they're doing something right. All wigs come with unlimited trims/cuts - although they can't make significant changes. Moral of the story is go home with your wig and come bag for trims because they can always take hair off but can't add it back on. Sierra didn't pressure my Mom to purchase anything at all. In fact, she had encouraged my mom to go home and sleep on it and come back if she was ready to purchase. My mom went ahead and purchased anyway, I think she didn't want to trek out again anytime soon but regardless, this was a zero pressure environment. Sierra also told us that wigs will last 6-9 months, on average, with everyday wear. You don't need to wash them very often - like every 30 wears or so. They sell all the accoutrements you need to properly care for your wig as well. I foresee some more visits here in the future! P.S. My 9 year old thought it was a hoot and loved trying on a few wigs as well. P.P.S. Don't be silly like me and pay to park. They have FREE parking in the back.

Main facts are it's closed on Sundays and Mondays, there is free parking in the back, and it may be wise to book an appt simply because there are a LOT of choices to be made. We were helped by Siera, who patiently tried wig after wig on me, starting with what I "thought" I liked and gently guiding me in other directions, until the magic moment occurred when I loved what i saw. There is absolutely NO pressure here to buy anything on your first visit- in fact, the total opposite is true. You are definitely encouraged NOT to buy, but rather to go home, look at all the pictures you took, and simply think about it. However, I knew we had finally (I took three hours to reach this point) found what would make me feel happy. For the first time in maybe two decades, I loved the way my "hair" looked. The last step was a custom trim, deliberately done with restraint since more could be taken off later but not put back on :-). Return visits are encouraged for any advice, touch ups, or whatever you need. I felt the price was reasonable for the quality of the wigs and the careful attention you receive, and foresee more purchases in the future.

I spotted the exact wig I wished to purchase, and it happened to be up on one of their shelves where I couldn't reach. The girl asked if she could help me again and I asked if she had any other wigs like the one up there. She replied no, so I asked if I may see that one. She stared up at the wig for nearly a minute before I said "I guess not?" She replied "yeah no". So I told her I'll buy else where then. It seems very odd to me that a wig shop wouldn't allow a customer to see a wig. Especially one who was willing to buy it. Even without trying it on. I had only been in this store once before and was greeted rudely by an older gentleman. This was two years ago, so I was hoping for a better experience. Sadly it wasn't and I myself won't be back.

Exceptional customer service & variety!…read more I stopped by Karrie's Kostume & Supplies store on my way home from work tonight to check if they had my toddler's ballet clothing in stock - I was greeted by a professional and friendly young lady who quickly showed me the available options; I decided to come back later with my daughter to try the items in for size. .............................................................. 2 hours later: I returned to the store with my twirling and giggling toddler in tote. We were helped by Anne, who was exceptionally good with my daughter. My four year old has a hard time talking to strangers and will sometimes run away and hide when spoken to. Anne knew just how to charm my toddler and after trying on the approved leotard options for ballet class, my daughter insisted on showing "the nice lady," before making a final selection. My daughter discussed all her favorite Princesses and Halloween costume ideas for the coming year: LaLaLoopsy & Monster High, of course! Anne even asked my daughter if she would like to try on their LaLaLoopsy costume; to which my daughter lost her marbles and a costume show and Photoshoot immediately followed care of Mommy's iPhone. Anne even brought us upstairs (stairs are on the outside of the building) to the Costume floor where we marveled at the amazing Super Hero & Star Wars Costume selection!
