The layout is spacious - you hear others around you but never feel in someone else's space or conversation. Reanna gave me a lovely haircut today complete with styled curls. She listened to my hair concerns, offered options, and checked in throughout to see if the cut and style was going as I hoped. I would definitely return here again and recommend to others. Oh and I almost forgot, there's a lovely little complimentary tea and coffee nook when you walk in :-)

Everyone is really nice here. There's a coffee and water station by the entrance if you want something to drink during your service. There's also lots of great natural light coming in to the salon. I took a quick look through their price list and everything seems to be pretty reasonable and on par with other places in the area. I noticed a nail station as well, so I might have to check that out next time too.

Now the "selling point" for me - a senior level stylist stepped in, listened to my concerns, gave some pointers to the first stylist, and totally turned the whole experience around. This is the first time in my entire (long) life that I've experienced a salon which truly seemed to CARE that I was totally satisfied before I left and I am very grateful for that.

There are plenty of hair & beauty mags to leaf through for some last-minute inspiration. All salon services start with a free stress-relieving head & neck massage (as is custom with most Aveda salons). In my experience, the stylists have all been attentive, friendly, and efficient - and their work is excellent. They know how to cut hair in such a way that it not only looks gorgeous in the salon, but also after you wash it and even as it grows out. The prices are on the higher end of the scale (especially if you see a senior stylist), but considering the quality of the cut and the excellent service, the prices are very fair. I can't personally vouch for the other services offered here (colour, facials, massages), but I did buy my mum a massage package for Mother's Day a couple years ago and she loved it. I came out with 4 different colours and severe blisters to my head. When I asked the stylist what we could do to fix it, the other girls in the salon came over and asked what the problem was, not taking responsibility for any action. I was told that they did not have time to fix it and was given a colour stripping shampoo to maybe take some of the colour out. Then I was booked in 5 days later to fix the problem. The cut is horrible as well. 1 side is longer than the other. I will never go back to this establishment.

Kylie was great with me and my hair and took the time to make sure I was pleased with the results. She also offered for me to come back in if ever after going home I felt like my bangs needed to be shorter or if one of my curls went unruly on me! Once again, my hair looks amazing! My two small qualms in the last review, that kept it from being 5 stars, were a) there was never a beverage offered and b) scalp massages were not included. Well, both of those items can be scratched off the list. I am offered a beverage when I sit down and my scalp is always beautifully massaged. The ladies here are truly artists. My mom went up right after me and paid for her up do and my cousins up do and BOTH of their's came to $115.00. Because this was for a wedding I had no time to argue as we had short time so I emailed the owner asking if there was anything that could be done about this, and it now being Oct 18, 2012 I still have not heard back. As a business owner also this is very wrong and because of this not 1 of us 3 will ever go back nor will others that have heard about this. I am very disappointed.
