DO NOT USE THIS SALON! THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I had purchased 8 laser hair removal treatments on Groupon. On March 16th at 3pm i had a consult appt to discuss. At this appt the employee hit redeem on my groupon. The next morning i called the salon and emailed groupon letting them know this is not something i am interested in doing. Pampers never returned my call and groupon opened a ticket. Pampers told Groupon i redeemed my groupon and had my first treatment on March 16th at 3:55pm so a request for a refund was denied. It was a 10min consult. I had two young children with me and i did not want any treatments. The salon flat out lied! Ive called the salon a total of 4 times leaving voicemails to discuss this and have had ZERO call backs. The girl names Summer glued multiple eyelashes and extensions together. I still have clumps of glue left on my eyelashes after the removal. I was in so much pain since the extensions were pulling on my natural eyelashes and sticking into my eyes. The place is very dirty and they don't disinfect the tools . They also use dollarama products on your face ! While I was getting my eye extensions removed the manager would walk in stand over me and keep telling the technician to hurry up since they don't have time for this. She stated the lady doing massage waited for 2 hours. Looking forward to the services or try to see if they could do any of the services today. Not good. Could not find the place phoned to get help--phone went to voicemail. WE were late but if someone could have answered the phone or returned my call we wouldn't have been that late. We get there and my husband is blind so I am guiding him to the door and I assume it was the owner who pointed at the sign on the door and said you are supposed to phone this number. She said she did not get my call but the number on the door is not the one on the sign so how am I to call? I visited this Pampers spa in Lakewood last time in a summer time 2016. I came on my 7th hair laser removal and they burned my skin so badly. I wasn't happy with their service from the beginning but I already spent my money (Groupon) and I thought it can't be worst than bad costumer service and not so clean spa. My burned skin can be the worst, for sure. I wasn't able to wear anything short or go somewhere on sun. Also, I went on very long vacation to Europe with those marks.. I even can't explain how terrible was. Can you imagine that you're on sea coast and you're wearing long pants?! I wish 0 stars was an option. Had a groupon for a "Gel manicure". My first mistake was thinking I would get gel nails for 20$. The groupon was intentionally very vague; not including whether it was gel nails or shellac. And upon further research, there is little to no information about nails what so ever on their website. *The address on the groupon is NOT the address to the location itself. Had no issue making the appointment. However, upon my arrival, there were no staff to be found. We rang a bell and called for someone and they were all in the back room eating. We sat for 10 minutes before we were "greeted". The woman who did my nails had dried food in her hair and appeared as if she hadn't brushed her hair in days. After my disappointment about learning I was about to get a gel polish instead of gel nails, she filled two finger soaker dishes with cold water; like the temperature you'd drink out of your water bottle. She used cuticle lotion and touched the bottles tip to my cuticles, as I saw her do with the following person as well without wiping it or cleaning it at all. The woman doing my nails used an exfoliating scrub on my hands; which is pretty typical. However, upon washing my hands, she handed me the towel as if I was to dry my hands myself. Then, she applied lotion to my hands without washing or wiping off her hands in between using the scrub and the lotion. ** Side note- she used no gloves or face mask either.** As she applied the shellac, if there was excess on my skin, she used her nail to clear it off. 3/10 of my nails had shellac dried to my skin. There was no solution for the tools. The person after me was immediately brought in and the woman at the salon did NOT wash the tools in between and used the same cotton pad to clean our nails!! I will be reporting this business to Groupon and Heath and Safety. Such a shame. Makes me not trust the quality of Groupon's deals anymore. read more

I went in for 3, 3D IPL treatment in October 2022. The owner or manager of the salon talked me into going into the spa and NOT ordering the deal for the treatments on Groupon, but said she would honor the price. She did the treatment, all was well, then she talked me into buying 3 sessions of micro needling, as this would give better results in conjunction with the micro needling. She said she would offer the sessions on a sale price of $150 for the 3 sessions. I agreed, she then overcharged my over $183.00 I only noticed recently when I went back and looked at my credit card statement. I emailed the company with copies of the Groupon deal and the word of the owner/manager and they are denying the verbal offer the owner gave me on the date of my original service and are refusing to refund me the difference in what they charged me. First I bought a package of 3 stone massages at Pampers from Groupon. I was really surprised to learn they actually use the stones to massage you, which was occasionally a bit painful. The massages were really not that effective. Every time I showed up for my appointment, they always seemed surprised and unprepared, and I would have to wait 15-20 minutes while they found the massage therapist. Nonetheless, when they offered me a good price, I bought another package of 3 massages. (I admit, I'm a sucker for a deal.) The first appointment went fine, although again I had to wait 15-20 minutes. For the second appointment, I sat and waited patiently for an hour, after which I was rather brusquely told I would have to rebook for some other time as they did not have time that day. In the meantime, someone else who had a later appointment was let in. I didn't go back and will not be. Pampers' customer service is seriously lacking, and a lot of it seems to go back to the lady that owns or manages the place. I bought a Groupon for 3 pedicures and was super excited to finally get out to use it. I called to make an appointment and they were able for me in. I showed up and was brought to a room in the back. The lady asked me if I wanted shellac and I said just normal polish. She told me that it would cost me $5 for polish. I asked her do pedicures not normally include normal polish? She said because it was such a good deal that there is a charge for polish. I told her that i read previous Yelp reviews and same thing, people were charged $20 for polish. I explained that the information should be included in the Groupon and she proceeded to shout at me and told me that I was very negative and fine she won't charge me. She said that her pedicures are different and very nice. Another lady did my pedicure and before we started I also asked if the tools were sanitized because it was just sitting in a basket all unwrapped.She said yes they were. I cringed from the start of the service as she was so rough. I asked her several times to not be so hard. I also asked her to not trim my cuticles but she was insistent. ZERO STARS. This is the rudest, scammiest most unprofessional salon. I was in for an appt that they rescheduled on me. The bimbo at the desk who does the IPL lasering started arguing with me and refused to use my GroupOn barcode. She demanded to see a paper card that a few months ago I had. I asked her to look up my appts on her computer. She berated me that they don't keep track of anything and was belligerent, belittling and completely unprofessional. I left feeling angry, humiliated and ripped off. These thieves lied before Christmas and said there would be no more GroupOns so they pushed me into buying another 3 sessions for almost $500. I am out several hundred dollars and will have to file a police report for theft against Pam the owner. They keep submitting fake 5 star reviews for both Esperanza Beauty Salon and Pampers which are the SAME business - which currently has them at a 4.5 review instead of the accurate abysmal reviews on yelp which they cannot manipulate as much as GroupOn. So still one groups to use up.. booked the appointment showed up they said I never booked it couldn't find me at all. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I feel sorry for anyone who ignores these reviews, as I did. Since I was getting a mani/pedi I thought "How bad could it be?" The other customers were complaining about lashes. I should be fine right? Wrong. So so wrong. When I walked in with my Mom, we were told to sit and wait. We waited for 25 minutes after our appt. Finally, the woman running the place demanded my Groupon (which I thought was strange because usually that gets redeemed after the service, no?) then hastily rushed us into a small room in the back of the store. All the signs plastered on the walls claiming "We do not give refunds" should have been my first warning. I was disgusted by the effort to cheat customers and I was saddened when I witnessed the woman (owner?) acting in an abusive manner to some elderly lady customers. This is by far the WORST place to go!!! ZERO STARS I bought the groupon directly from the salon. For 1 set of lashes with 2 fills, I called and asked 3 times if the lash extensions were applied individually to each eyelash. And asked again on appointment day.. She swore up and down that they were. Being the nice girlfriend I am, I decided to bring my boyfriend in with me to get a "hot stone massage" So we went in at the same time for our appointments. Me with the "qualified eyelash lady" And him with the lady who runs the place. She used scotch tape directly in my face/lower lashes, which was cutting n stabbing into my eye.. She took about an hour, when I tried to open my eyes I was in agony!! Burning , pain , red eyes , watering like crazy. my first question was "can I curl these" they were super long lashes that had no curl. And they were all piled up on each other and glued together. They were itchy because they were done improperly and started dropping on the inner corners of they eye really bad. When my lashes started to shed the real nightmare began. Huge clumps of glue and fake lashes were literally hanging on by one or two lashes. I lost so many eyelashes and had chunks missing and so much lash breakage. They were half the length afterwards! My boyfriends massage was SO whack he said! She didn't even massage his back and left him laying on the hot stones as she left the room for 20 mins. But he can write a review if he chooses Anyway I went back three weeks later for my appointment to get a fill. I went in and showed her huge clumps of lashes I had saved that had fallen off, and I told her they were done improperly, and she ignored my concerns and brushed me off . And was like "so you want the fill "? And I couldn't say yes !!!.. I said "I just wanted what was left removed". And wanted some of my money back .. Of corse the hag said no!!! I was choked.. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD!!!!!!!!!! I went to Pamper's Beauty September 2, 2016 and had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience! I inquired with the salon about using a groupon for a mani-pedi (I am a loyal groupon user!). They asked that I not actually purchase the groupon, and they would honour the price of the groupon in store. I had no issues with this as it puts more money in the business' pocket! However, my whole experience at the salon was so awful. First off, my friend and I showed up and they immediately made us pay for the services, which I have never experienced before (what if you don't like the finished product!?) I ignored this fact and continued on. They don't do any acrylic or gel nails, so my friend was unable to get her nails done. They said they "only do basic nail painting". I thought this was odd, but once again, continued on. We entered their "spa room" which was an uncomfortably tiny room that had two pedicure chairs and a massage table. Rather than do my manicure first, then do the pedicure, the woman had me sit in the pedicure chair, turn myself sideways, and she painted my nail literally standing beside me (I was awkwardly twisted the whole time). None of the aspects of a "manicure" really were provided. She clipped my nails, filed a little bit, but that was basically it. She had no real tools to do the job. I am usually quite a patient, easy going person, so I just went with it hoping the finished product would meet expectation. They had very little colour selection, first of all. Secondly, she painted my nails as I was sitting in the pedicure chair soaking my feet, and it seriously looked like a four year old had done it! She did ONE coat (it was TRANSPARENT), and there was coral coloured nail polish all over the tips of my fingers. At one point, she leaned her arm on my hand and spread the nail polish all over...which wouldn't be a big deal except she didn't even bother cleaning it up. I was actually surprised when she put the nail polish away, as I couldn't believe she could possibly be done. She continued on to my feet, which wasn't anything spectacular either. Didn't trim my nails well, left all the "dead skin" on, didn't even touch my cuticles on my toes! As one woman did my toes, a second woman came to put the top coat on my nails, at which point I asked if she could fix them because I wasn't happy with them. The nail polish was all over my hands and fingers, the paint was transparent, and had bubbles in them. She didn't even clean under my nails!!! The second lady briefly painted over the horrible nails, and made them slightly, but barely, less horrible. My friend and I at this point were just so done with this whole experience (her pedicure was not great either!). As we sat in the pedicure chairs, letting our nails dry, the woman came in after a couple minutes and asked us to leave, because she needed the room. Our nails weren't even dry!! (they didn't have the drying machines for the nails). My friend and I left, and her toe nails were ruined by her shoes because they weren't dry, and my nails were also not dry and were further messed up once we left. I am just overly not impressed with their customer service, the cleanliness of the building, or the quality of the services. DO NOT go here if you want to have a nice set of nails done!! Honestly, normally I would let it all go, but I had been extremely stressed due to studying for a HUGE exam for my profession, and my friend and I planned ahead to get our nails done on that day just to relax before I wrote my test. I was so disappointed with my nails, as was my friend, and she still needed to get her nails filled. We went to a different salon right away (literally left Pampers Beauty and drove to a different place immediately!) They redid my nails completely for 20 dollars because they felt appalled at the services I had received (and for the costs!!) and the end product was WONDERFUL! Laser hair removal I spent a TON of money getting laser hair removal all over my body. They told me that all I would need is one package and I would be good to go! They kept convincing me to buy more and I did.... REGRETFULLY. Its been 8 sessions and my hair is the exact same. When I was finished, they finally told me that I would need more sessions and that no one finishes with one package. They also NEVER use gloves... I never felt like she was doing a thorough job. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This was the WORST experience ever! I walked in the door 12 minutes before my appt and there were 2 women talking at the front desk. I was told to sit and wait and then for 12 minutes I listened to them talking and then one of them came and handed me a clipboard with forms to fill out.... why the wait? The same woman who gave me the clipboard then came and took me to a room so it wasn't like she had another client in a room, the place was empty except for me. I told the woman that I had a very small jaw/mouth and that my dentist and dental hygienist used an appliance for a child. The woman brought out the huge mouth thing and ask me to open wide and then she kept trying to insert it and saying open wider, open wider... like I could??? She then tried another one and managed to get it in but it felt like my bottom lip was going to split in two and my jaw joint was screaming for being open too wide. I laid for 20 minutes like that in PAIN and discomfort and then when the 2nd time came around I asked for a smaller mouthpiece and she said they didn't have one. They also had nothing to put on my lips to soften them... luckily I had some Mr. Numb and lip moisturizer in my purse and applied it. The 2nd treatment was just as uncomfortable and hurt but not quite as bad the the 1st time. The staff talked loud and CONSTANTLY from the second I arrived until I said something to the woman after my 2nd treatment. I said there was a SIGN on the front of the desk asking for QUIET, so why were they talking so much and so LOUD. They were actually talking over one another... no one was even listening just all talking???? I asked 3x to have the speaker with music turned on and was never done. She then proceeded to try to insert the appliance a 3rd time and was getting angry because I wouldn't open wider for her to put it in. I was at my max and she couldn't get that!!! She went out and another woman came in with a smaller appliance and it inserted easily and I wasn't in discomfort and pain, so why not the 1st two times???? Neither woman turned on the music and went back out and then the chatter was louder and continual for another 20 minutes... it sounded like they were having a party and I'm sure talking louder just because I had said something. Finally the ORDEAL was over and I told them how awful it was and they tried defending themselves and making excuses and actually tried to engage in an agrument! My mind was now officially Blown! Prospective Groupon buyers..beware. I had purchased a Groupon for the hot stone massage service. I called them to book an appointment and they gave me a 3PM slot on a Saturday. A couple days beforehand, someone from Pampers called me and asked if they could reschedule me to 1PM. The caller said she didn't know why I was booked for 3PM as we are closed at that time. I agreed. I arrived for my appointment that day at 12:50PM and advised the receptionist of my appointment and then took a seat. I sat until about 1:10PM, with no other acknowledgment. At that time, the receptionist, still sitting at her desk, spoke with someone who had come out of a room and was in her line of vision (but not mine). They were speaking in hushed tones, but I was sitting in front of the desk, so I could hear them. The receptionist told the other person (presumably my masseuse) that the 1PM appointment was there and the person responded it would be 20 minutes. A bit shocked, I waited for the receptionist to say something. A minute passed by and she said nothing to me, so I asked her, how long did she say it was going to be? She responded "10-15 minutes". Again, shocked, I waited for some acknowledgement or explanation or apology for the fact that I wouldn't get in until 1:30PM, a half hour past the appointment time they rescheduled me to. So I advised her that I couldn't wait as I had other things to attend to and I was leaving. She didn't apologize, she asked if I wanted to rebook for a different time and I said no. She also said I could call back later or email in and I left. I advised Groupon of this and they acknowledged this was terrible service and would be following up with them accordingly. I have been issued a credit so I'll be using my money to support a better ran business. There's a lot of negative reviews on here and I see why. I also noticed on Groupon that the same company has a few services that they are offering and there's at least 3 variations of their name, but the consistent word is Pampers. Where do I begin... I got a Groupon for this Salon to get my eyelashes done... I walked in and was waiting for 22 min. When I finally went in to get my lashes done I had asked for full and long... In the Groupon it says MINK.. These eyelashes are not mink... She practically glued my eyelashes together. I have white spots all over my eyelashes from the excessive amount of GLUE she used for my lashes... I will most definitely will not be coming back to this place! read more

I wish I could give them a zero. I went today to have my lashes remove and they made me wait 20mins past my appointment time and then when it came to taking them off they had trouble getting all the glue off and ripped out many of my eyelashes. It was extremely painful and unprofessional. After I told the lady taking them off that she had ripped out my eyelashes she just told me to "put some Vitamin E on your eyelids and they'll grow back faster". To top it all off, they made me pay $20 to have them removed even though they were the salon that put them on in the first place. I have never heard a spa charge to remove eyelashes that they put on. NEVER GO HERE EVER. WORST EXPERIENCE. PLEASE READ ALL. I wish I read these reviews before I went to this dive. I had a groupon for eyelashes with 2 fills. I had the extensions put on one week ago. The glue was burning immediately. They started falling out that day. Within one week ' (today) they all fell out.. my eyes are red and swollen. . My natural eyelashes all fell out. I went ti the "salon" where the owner said I pulled out all my OWN EYELASHES. She said im crazy and a bitch and if I tried to get my money back she wld tell them I had no eyelashes to begin. She asked me if I wanted to fight and yelled at me to get out. I have pictures of my own eyelashes before this botch job and they were long and full. ( I didnt need extensions but thought id try .) NEVER GO HERE. THEY ARE EVIL. UNPROFESSIONAL .. AND RUINED MY EYELASHES. I HOPE THEY GROW BACK. .groupon refunded me but now I need fake eyelashes. read more

A friend got the groupon for eyelash extensions and her eyelashes look AMAZING so I bought the same groupon. And then I saw the yelp and facebook reviews and got really anxious, but rationalized that I should trust my friend over strangers. I'm so glad I did. First of all, book by email. I understand many people had issues with booking over the phone, I had no issues booking by email. The only negative factor was that my appointment was at 10:30, the business opens at 10:00 but they came to open the doors at 10:20. The owner does seem very brusque and impatient on the phone. The girl who does the lashes is a total sweetheart. She asked me how I wanted them, and I told her that I mostly just wanted them so I wouldn't have to use mascara on my short blonde lashes, but that I wear glasses so they can't be too crazy. I asked her if the glue she uses has latex (allergy) and she confirmed that it does not and then went through all her other products to confirm that all were latex free, which set me at ease. My lashes look amazing and natural, like I've been blessed with gorgeous black swooping lashes. I'm not sure why everyone else is having such a huge problem here, but I strongly recommend Pampers for eyelash extensions. read more

I also purchased a groupon for eyelashes. Although the technician did a good job and the staff were friendly, I am not sure what type of glue they are using. My eyelashes were so hard it was difficult to sleep the first night. Days later and every time my lashes get wet my eyes burn. It is very painful. As a result the whites of my eyes are bloodshot and I have been going through eye drops like crazy! I have had false eyelashes in the past and they were soft and did not burn. I will not be going back for the fill I purchased and am looking to have them removed at another salon. read more

Bought the day spa Groupon which Included a massage, facial, pedicure and manicure for my mom and I and it beyond exceeded our expectations! The staff were super friendly (Ruby and Sandy) the ladies who treated us for the day we're absolutely fabulous. The hot stone massage was the best part and I ended up buying 3 more. Highly recommend this place. As well as the front reception lady coming to check in with us to make sure we we're enjoying our time. The owners is super rude and pushy. I called to book an appointment and she tried to push me to pay in person so they don't have to give me the groupon discount, when I got there the employee marked my groupon as redeemed but to my surprise as I left the massage ( WHICH WAS 10 MINUTES LESS THAN ADVERTISED EVEN IF I COUNT THE 10 MINUTES OF BS LAYING ON ROCKS AT THE END) the owner claimed that the employee didn't know the policy so I have to pay in person. She claimed that groupon massages need to be booked 15 days ahead despite her not telling me that over the phone when I booked nor it being advertised on their groupon. Don't go here!! Unprofessional, poor service, hard to even get an appointment and the place seems unhygienic. I had lashes done here and the lady put scotch tape under my eyes on the thin delicate skin and then ripped it off at the end. She had me lay on a gross fleece blanket on top of the table. It looked like someone brought it from home after their kids had been using it. I'm not sure if she even washed her hands before touching my eye lashes and she was texting while putting them on me. I'll never be back. I'd rather pay a bit more for quality and professionalism than settle and risk damage to my lashes or an eye infection. read more
