I am going to start this review off my saying how truly hurt I am that I have to write this. I was…read moredeceived for so long, and can't even fathom that a business that is supposed to be about making people feel good, allowed this to go on for so long. I started going to bombshell extensions about a year ago, and switched from the tape in extensions to the microweft method that they offered. I though all was going well until coming to a different salon to have my colour done today. The purpose of me coming to a different salon in the first place was that they were unreachable for several weeks, and upon finally getting a response they were so unorganized that they couldn't even figure out who I was. I was a client at Bombshell for a year. The amount of bald spots, sores, and hair loss I have is unfathomable. Had someone told me 6 months ago that the extensions were causing so much damage I would have stopped - although I sense that is why they didn't tell me, they only care about money. On top of never having my hair washed between new extension installs, they didn't even bother to remove the old beads - they were adding new beads below the old ones to push the extensions up. The beads in my hair varied in colour from beige, black, and brown. They couldn't even use one colour. My hair is extremely fine as is, and I only wish that someone had been upfront with me about the damage it was causing. Had this method been done in a sanitary and appropriate method without short cuts, I feel I may not have had as much damage as I do. They only have one staff member now, and had to shut down their large salon so I do feel as though they have bitten off more than they can chew, causing corners to be cut. If you are in this industry, and industry that is supposed to be about making people feel good, you need to do things the right way. This includes but is not limited to washing hair between installs, using the same colour beads, cutting out the old beads, alternating placement to avoid balding/extreme tension on the hair, etc. Please reconsider the industry you are in so this does not happen to anyone else any longer.

At this appt the employee hit redeem on my groupon. The next morning i called the salon and emailed groupon letting them know this is not something i am interested in doing. Pampers never returned my call and groupon opened a ticket. Pampers told Groupon i redeemed my groupon and had my first treatment on March 16th at 3:55pm so a request for a refund was denied. It was a 10min consult. I had two young children with me and i did not want any treatments. The salon flat out lied! Ive called the salon a total of 4 times leaving voicemails to discuss this and have had ZERO call backs. Groupon is also a joke and are not willing to refund my money because Pampers hit REDEEM on my phone. NOT ME!

I have never had great hair (fine and thin and straight) but I felt great leaving the appointment. She also helped me to pick out some product without pushing a sale upon me. It was cut very nicely and styled great but now my hair is just below my shoulder blades when i did not ask for that at all. I have had many haircuts/trims with my long hair and it was never a problem but only until i asked for layers, my 3 years of growth is gone. I feel like if someone with long hair comes in and what they want sounds like a huge cut to the stylist, they should say that because i had no idea that simple layers meant chopping off a good 6-7 inches of hair.

I was looking for something to extend the length of my pony tail and she mentioned that she will make me a custom pony tail extension and she made me one in under a week .
